i love all of starbucks’ drinks and their food is also super good. i really love this location because of the service and the staff is super friendly. some of them have even remembered my name! so nice to see such good customer service in this day in age its like a breath of fresh air

As a former Starbucks employee, I felt the need to write this review. I’ve gone to this Starbucks multiple times over the past few weeks and each time has been a bad experience. The three women who were working were very rude, and at times I could hear them talking crap about customers as well as some of their fellow employees. As a former Starbucks employee, I know the whole «decaf the customers you don’t like» I’d hope Starbucks employees would value customer service, and respect all customers but unfortunately not everyone thinks this way; including the girl who was working. At the register she was very passive aggressive to my friend who also currently works at Starbucks, and sure enough she made her latte decaf. Also, they close at 9 pm but start kicking you out around 8:45. They slowly try to get you out of there at 8:58 and it’s very annoying how they let you know every minute that you should start packing up your stuff. Overall, I will not return to this Starbucks. Also, wanted to mention this review is towards more of the late afternoon to night shifts, I am not familiar with the people, and how it is in the mornings.

Baristas are kind of annoying. They don’t maintain common decency with every visit and I’ve had attitude from 2 different baristas. They appear nice to others but to me, attitude. What’s the difference? I don’t get it. I knew it was a mistake to come back after the first one gave me trouble to order. Second time around, I came in to pick up my mobile order after 12 or so minutes and she «never bothered to check» the order machine. And then she was making it seem like the problem was the online order itself since she could «barely read what it said,» which was «PWCM Frapp.» She kept asking me with a lot of attitude, «I have no idea what you want in this. C for Cream? Do you want coffee in this?» I’m new to the White Chocolate option but c’mon, don’t be rude or interrogative about it… No one was behind the counter except her. Okay then. _​I’ve used the mobile order option twice beforehand at the other Mission Viejo Starbucks near the I-​5 on Oso on my way home from class and had no issue with the baristas. Baristas there are so sweet and friendly. I see how it is. HOWEVER, drinks are made spectacularly here. They deserve stars for that. Service should be important too.

Delicious every time! And the employees are always happy :) the little charging ports they put in are also a nice touch. Even if my phone is at 70% or something, I still use it just to put some extra juice in there

I have come to this Starbucks a few times and I purchase coffee everyday. On this particular occasion I did not purchase my drink at this Starbucks in the morning and they would not honor my gold card refill. The manager was very rude and told me they would give me .10 cents off of a $ 3.65 drink. Wow, thanks. I basically spend over a $ 100 a month on coffee so if I need a refill one time when I didn’t purchase at your store maybe you could honor it! Lame!!!

I love this specific Starbucks location. Every morning or afternoon, I am greeted by smiling faces and people who want to be there. The staff really tries to learn your name and your orders (if you order the same thing every day lol). If they don’t make your drink the way YOU like it, they will remake it and let you keep your old drink. Yo is amazing, she builds rapport with all her customers.
I have gone to numerous Starbucks and thus far this is the best one I’ve been to. They need to have a Starbucks employee convention and teach the other Starbucks employees how to talk to they customers.

I initially did not want to write this review, but as a service to the Unilocal community and food service workers, I must say, this is probably the best Starbucks I’ve been to in a long long long time! As a long time lover of coffee, my love affair has brought me to and from many coffee shops around the globe. But I must say, this is a fantastic Starbucks.
First off, I did not want to write this review because I did not want this Starbucks to overflow with people, but let’s face it, it deserves the recognition. This a well stocked and clean location. The people are always upbeat and friendly, even at the buttcrack of dawn.
I have to say, one barista named Kim was particularly kind and considerate during my visit. She was friendly and full of energy. She made the experience truly fantastic and deserves the recognition!
Overall, excellent experience, quick service (ultra lighting fast quick!) And very cohesive and organized set up! The shopping center is shared with a car wash, a Taco Bell, Jack in the Box and a few other small establishments. It’s easy to drive by at the corner of Antonio and Oso, but if you get a chance, regular this shop. It has a lot more character than other monochromatic Starbucks!

The coffee is great and made pretty fast. However it can get super noisy so if you are trying to work on anything while drinking coffee, you might want to try some other Starbucks.

Always quick and friendly service! Yo is always so helpful wirh drink suggestions when I’m not sure what I want, which is quite often!

This Starbucks is near my house and I come here to work quite often. The past few months they have started turning up the the air conditioning making it extremely cold and uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time. Maybe that is part of a plan to prevent people from sitting and working, so who knows. I’ve over heard people complaining about the cold asking to have it turned down and the response is, «yea, when it is cold out there it is still hot behind the counter» which basically translates to, «deal with it, we aren’t doing anything.» I’ve also noticed a correlation between freezing temps and the blonde manager being here. When she isn’t here, the temperature is totally normal. There aren’t many options for coffee shops in this area… so if you are planning to work here bring a jacket!

I am definitely not someone that writes Unilocal reviews when something bad happens but I was so taken back by this experience. I visited this Starbucks today for the first time. I ordered my drink at the front and greeted the woman helping me with the order. I was being very kind and asked how she was doing and she ignored me. Then as I proceeded to order my drink, she was rolling her eyes at me. I then looked at my friend to see if she was picking up on it and she definitely was. I said thank u and she ignored me again and was having a conversation with her coworker and not acknowledging anything. Her coworker made a comment right in front of us talking about the lobby and how crowded it was saying «don’t these people have an office to go to?» I work in customer service and I get things get hectic and busy but I was nothing but nice to this woman. I was hoping that maybe she was just having a bad day and I get that, but then right after I noticed how out of her way she went to be nice to everybody else so it really confused me and it was definitely unwelcoming. I am not writing this to get anyone in trouble but hopefully this doesn’t happen again. Other than that, the drinks were good though. I feel really bad writing this negative comment but it was just really upsetting.

This is the best Starbucks in the area! The team makes an effort to know every customer by name and are very friendly and energetic.

Like the barista working the counter, very friendly. :) better than most of the other chain Starbucks I’ve visited.

The staff is always in a great mood and seems excited to see me… For whatever reason, this location has some of the friendliest staff and patrons. Maybe it is becuase it requires you to park and walk in… Actually I have no idea, but the locals are really nice…
My new favorite drink is a black sweetened tea with out water. This means that you get a more concentrated tea and the extra horsepower is always appreciated!

I always thought all Starbucks tasted the same but I was proven wrong. This location made the best mocha frapp I’ve ever tried! I asked for whipped cream and got whipped cream on the bottom of the cup and the top so with every slurp I got a mixture of creaminess and mocha. Extremely delicious!

One of my favorite places to stop by on my way in to work. Love the service and consistency. Julie is a gem! Always remembers me when I come in and is so friendly and sweet! Love this place!

If there were ever a Starbucks you wanted to find that was a perfect balance of great service, good location, great consistency along with horrific lines out the door, twenty minute waits on weekend mornings, and slammed packed sitting area, this is your place.
This Starbucks is a conundrum, blending the best and the worst for a coffee drinker. Typical Starbucks quality with atypical excess demand from consumers.
Not unlike the over built and under planned elements of south county, this Starbucks sits at the nexus of Ladera Ranch/​Las Flores/​Wagon Wheel/​South Coto/​Mission Viejo.
On any given morning there’s probably 20,000 people rushing by. A gold mine location by the way!
If you are in a hurry, hit the Starbucks inside the Pavillions down Oso inside the grocery store, or you can go to ‘minus land’ Starbucks on Oso (the one facing away from all the morning traffic that makes no sense at all) make a left before the gas station to the wrong side of the road near the 5 and grab a coffee there. But you’ll be doing u turns and spilling coffee all over yourself.
Looks like it’s wait in line and enjoy the people watching for now.

As far as a chain goes, I am impressed at this location. SUPER friendly staff every morning regardless of the time.
When I walked in there was a line to the door and even though I was tempted to leave, well, I had coffee in hand and walked out in 3 minutes! Nice job ladies and gents.
