I recently moved to the area and was aching for a good local spot to grab some grub and beer. Great selection of beer, friendly locals, good food and chill ambiance. My only complaint is that I didn’t discover this place a month ago! Definitely try the tri-tip sandwich and the Healdsburg. The pizza bites are perfect for the kiddies.

Very good selection of beers, priced about average+ for the areas. The 4 we tried were all good, IPAs/browns. Food(burger/pizza/salad/hot dog) did well for a pub, price and quality was fine for our expectations. Taste was enjoyable. Small place, well laid out and clean. Maybe another tv at the other end of the bar would assist in seeing a game from either side. Definitely worth the trip —

Been wanting to stop in here for about a year gbut it’s not on my beaten path. Decided to have a drink while I waited for my husband who was in urgent care next door. I was pleasantly surprised. Great selection of craft beer that are hand picked for their deliciousness by the owner. Really nice crowd and seating comfortable enough. We stayed for dinner and the tri-tip sammich was delectable and tender. I can tell, we’ll be back sooner than later.

My bf wanted to try their blackberry cider. That’s all the reason brought us to come by to this neighborhood bar! We were a little hungry, so ordered some foods as well. This place is for beers. I trird the samplers. It was around $ 8 and choose 4 flavors. I usually have light/dry beers but this place isn’t for that, so just asked the most popular flavors. Service was pretty good. And I liked it was not busy at all but kinda slow and chill, watching football game on Sunday afternoon. We didn’t enjoy much for the drinks we’ve got. The cider was not what we expected, and for the beers as well. The foods were alright.

Fantastic place. Fun atmosphere. Gracious owner who knows his beers. The food is good, but it’s a pub so don’t expect a lengthy menu. Recommended.

Great place! Home away from home. The owner is really nice and clearly loves being here. I’m coming here every time I’m in town. Beer selection is fantastic. Well thought of. Some beers are exclusive and not available for retail. Didn’t try the food. I HIGHLY recommend you to check this place out.

Good beer bar in an area where there arnt many. I’ve been drinking craft beer for about 20 years, way before it was cool like it is now, so I know my beers. They got sum good ones here and the prices are fair. I would have given a 5 star if y’all didn’t advertise as a gastro pub. I mean cmon the menu is very limited and not a single item is gastro in any way. Most of the food items are frozen and oven warmed.

They have craft beers that are rare in so. Cal. And are consistently fresh. The variety changes all the time. The food is outstanding, try the tri-tip sandwiche.

Good neighborhood pub… has that kind of vibe. Food is good, I wouldn’t rate it a gastro-pub though, sandwiches are served w/a handful of chips on the side. Pub is equipped w/taps, a griddle, and a fridge(no ice machine, but then why would you need one when you serve beer… and a small selection of wine, right?) when your 25 year old friend leaves her purse, with I.D. at home and has to order soda instead… Bummer w/no ice. Oh well, as stated previously… Good neighborhood pub.

You know what? I’ve never been to a craft beer place that I didn’t give anything less than 4 star rating. Why? Because the people who open up craft beer bars really love their beer and so you won’t get bad beer. Came with Ryan and Spencer and we tried a bunch of beers. I did a flight myself and let the bartender pick my beers. It’s all super solid. What wasn’t impressive? We did order some kind of garlic bread(if I remember correctly) and it was near terrible. Just wasn’t that great and very plain tasting. We did go though after having dinner. But nonetheless, wouldn’t ever order that again. Would come back to drink more beer and try some other more substantial food.

Was up in the area for a friends party and decided to have a nice frosty beverage to start things off. The place is right near the ocean unfortunately you can’t see the ocean from inside the pub. Upon entering, we were greated by the owner Patrick who was very friendly and informative about the beers he had on tap. Beers: I tried the Mother Earth Brew Imperial peanut butter stout just for kicks. It was a unique beer for sure. Didn’t really taste the peanut butter that much which was a good thing. I’d say it’s try this beer once and then move on. I also tried the Petaluma Hills Brew Red Ale which I liked better. My friends tried ciders from Two Rivers which they thoroughly enjoyed. Food: We started of with the garlic bread which were pretzel like bread bites with mozzarella cheese on top. We also ordered the Windsor(Salami and Gouda) and the Santa Rosa(Ham and Swiss) sandwiches. Both came on a pretzel bun and a side of kettle chips. The sandwiches and pretzel bites were ok. I think it’s kinda risky to have everything on a pretzel bun. Next time, I personally would have my food on another type of bread. Not sure if that is even an option though. Service: Outstanding. Patrick was awesome. There is at least one tv that I can rememeber, a bar area and smaller seating arrangements throughout. The cool thing is the bar top area is old bowling lanes.

I came in on a pretty slow week night and had a beer that was recommended by the bartender, it was great! I wish I could remember the name ha! We also had the hot dog and pretzel pizza bites, both were great but I’m a sucker for pretzel buns so it’s not easy to win my heart. I also enjoyed the books they had which explained the history of drinking and other fun topics. The environment was the cherry on top! I will be back when I have a few carbs to spare :)

Right as the doors opened on a wonderful day for lunch and a beer the bartender was on her phone and stayed on it for almost 5 minutes. I ordered one beer and got another. tho I did not switch it was not my favorite. My husband and I shared a burger and that was pleasant but bun was hard. Needless to say we won’t go back. By the end she was back on her cell and we were gone

One of the few places where I can find some amazing craft brews on tap. This guy knows what he’s doing when it comes to bringing in quality beers. Love the bowling lane bar top and the eats are simple and tasty.

We love this place. Just happened upon it after one of my sons football games at Palos Verdes high school. Great selection of beers, fantastic service, and the food was really really good(or «boss» like my son would say). We all got some sort of sandwich and I have to say that the bread was one of the best parts. I guess they use some kind of pretzel dough for the bread and it was spot on. Clearly made on site… Definitely will stop back by here when we are in town again. «Hope» was our server and she was super cool. Definitely recommend this place.

Saw the reviews for this place and since I’m a craft beer fan, wanted to try out this place since they specialize in craft beers. The bar itself is tucked away in a corner in a shopping center. It’s laid out with a bar that looked like it seated about 12 or so patrons, and then along the wall there were tables. When I went, there were just about 6 or so other patrons on a Friday night after Christmas. They had about 10 or so craft beers available that they post up on a chalkboard behind the bar. I tried two: a Greenflash double stout and a Firestone pilsner. These are both from California craft breweries. The beers were not bad, but I have had better. The double stout was served in a snifter. It looked like it was about an 8 oz serving for $ 8. The pilsner looked like it came in a pint glass and was $ 5.50. They also serve a few different wines for around $ 8 or $ 9 a glass. There is one large television screen in the bar. They weren’t playing any sports game but instead some kind of documentary. This seemed a little unusual. I asked if they could change to a basketball game and they complied. The problem with this place is that the food menu is very limited. They have some appetizer type items and sandwiches. We ordered some beer bites, which was supposed to be a flatbread with cheese topping but seemed more like frozen pizza bites that they heated. I would have liked a better menu, but it doesn’t seem due to the size of the place that it could really be more of a full service restaurant. It seems like it’s trying to be a neighborhood bar specializing in local craft beers. In this regard, I would like to see a little wider selection, and maybe a more descriptive written beer menu to help patrons decide what they like. Prices also seemed a little on the high side.

We happened to walk in when this place had newly opened and were excited to live near a tap house offering beer trivia. Beer trivia was fun, but that was the only plus. I was charged for a beer they never brought me. I didn’t realize until I checked my email since they had me pay with my card via one of those swipers on their ipad. The beers were pricey as is, so having to pay for an expensive beer I didn’t even get really made me mad. We also ordered food and ended up getting some pizza on the way home because it was terrible. They gave us cheesey bread that tasted like they microwaved a slice of cheese on bread and then poured a jar of marinara sauce on the side. We also tried sandwiches and they tasted like I had packed them from home. Horrible food at a high price. Our bill was over $ 80 for two small sandwiches, gross cheese bread, and 4 beers(one of which I never received!!).
