Pretty impressive for AYCEKBBQ in the Inland Empire. The best I’ve had out here in comparison to some of my favorite KBBQ places in Los Angeles & Orange County. Nice to see generous portions as well as quality brisket being served. The flavor of the brisket was killer! Overall a good quality cut with minimal fat content and melted in my mouth like butter. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was pretty good as well. As others have said the egg bowl(egg pot) and cheese corn were outstanding. Our server was great and overall 4 out of 5 stars, but I can EASILY see why everyone is rating this place a 5. My only complaint was the hostess. We walked in at 9pm and they close at 11. I caught the slightest eye roll as she looked back at the other servers as they kinda sat at the tables laughing after she did that; probably hoping to leave early since the place was practically empty. Come on girl! Do that crap in the back of the house; not the front right in front of the customer. I understand you wanna go home but you’re open for 2 more hrs. I shrugged it off and just wanted to enjoy my food but still… If a manager/owner is reading this the food was well worth that moment where I felt like my business wasn’t wanted; but you might want to check your hostess.

A gem find in the middle of Rancho Cucamonga. Almost on par with a Ktown kbbq. Almost but not quite. Quality of meat is not as high as Ktown but the service blew Ktown out of the water. Service: We were assigned a main server and an assistant server. They both personally introduced themselves and was practically at our beck and call. Menu: There are two AYCE menus A: $ 18.99 and B: $ 23.99. Main difference is that menu A only has 2 Beef options whereas B has a few more. Notable differences is the Kalbi and Beef Tongue, popular Kbbq items, are on menu B. Notable Mention: Cheese Corn! First time I’ve seen this at an AYCE Kbbq. Me and my friends order several rounds of this. Suggestions: Garlic Pork Belly and Brisket.

I give it 3 for one reason. As I walked in I slid and fell on water and three employees just stared at me. I was fine but mortified. It was a good 10 minutes before a manager came over to make sure I was ok. She was very nice but offered nothing but apologies. The food was great though. Service was pretty good too.

What can I say… Plenty of parking, short wait time to be seated, inexpensive, Great service & Great food! Our server, Christian, was so attentive and helpful. He gave us some good suggestions on what to try, helped us w/cooking the meat, and was just all around a nice guy! This was our first time here, but definitely not our last. P. S. The birthday song & dance is pretty funny.

I’ve never eaten at a Korean BBQ place so we were a little nervous About trying this. We went on a Saturday night. Place was packed. Large big screens in bar area. Friendly servers and hostess. They explained that there were 2 options side A and side B menu. We selected side B which contained an endless list of meats, seafood and exotic meats as well. Oxtail or pork cheeks anyone? We also had some of the famous corn cheese. They bring you the side dishes and raw meat. You cook the meat In a small grill in the center of your table. All in all the food was good. Service was excellent. Don’t really think we will return but it was definitely a fun night and if you are feeling adventurous there are plenty of unique selections!

4.5 stars for this one! This has quickly become one of my fave kbbq places for several reasons: — the wait is much shorter than Gen down the street. The longest we’ve had to wait was about 20 minutes. — the banchan is better. They have seaweed salad which I can down in minute, and the hubs loves the radishes. And all the other stuff is good too. — potato noodles. Mmmmm. — meat quality is pretty good. Things don’t have to be drowned in sauce to taste good. — but if you like sauce, they make a special sauce(crazy sauce, I think it’s called?) that has garlic, jalapeños and yummines in it. You just have to ask for it. — service has always been good. Especially at the bar! — I like the more low key vibe here vs Gen’s clubbier atmosphere. Overall, I feel like I get more bang for my buck here. And I always leave with a full belly, a smile on my face and hair that doesn’t reek of meat.

Went the other day at lunch time, and it was dinner pricing due to it being a holiday. It seemed busy, and we waited a few minutes to get seated. Upon getting seated and waiting for our server, we noticed how nice the interior was. Good food+Good view=Great time. I believe our server was Mark. He and the other employees were very attentive. We were always getting asked if we needed anything. I felt so annoying because we always seemed to need something lol. Very rarely did we have to flag someone down, and when we did, they came right away and brought it over just as fast. They seemed to turn over tables well and replace the grill often. Also, our server didn’t give us our bill until we asked for it even though we were pretty close to our 2 hour limit mark. It felt nice not being rushed. It was my first time eating at a DIYKBBQ place, so I didn’t really know what to do. My boyfriend ordered a lot of different meat and sides though and knew how to cook it(for the most part). By the end of the day, I was experimenting with the tongs myself! There was a range of Banchan and if you want, you can even order rice. They don’t seem stingy at all with the amount they give you and can even do half-orders. The food was great. Bulgogi, Jap Chae, Corn Cheese, and Fresh Shrimp were our favorite items. The Bulgogi was so tender and sweet. I liked the texture and taste of the Jap Chae. The Corn Cheese was a great dish. So sweet it was practically our dessert. Don’t get chicken! We ordered that last just to try it, and it was really disappointing. It stuck all over the newly replaced grill and just tasted really weird. We couldn’t finish eating it. We ate a lot, and it was a really great experience.

This was my first time at U-grill and I had high expectations based on all the reviews I had read before visiting. Parking lot was empty, and restaurant only had 5 tables seated, a few patrons at the bar. Thought that was strange seeing as how our favorite Japanese grill Gyu Kaku is always PACKED. Besides being empty, the atmosphere was dim, modern, romantic. Ventilation was amazing, it doesn’t even smell like food in there. We were seated right away with no wait time. Service was quick to start, friendly host and waiter were on us immediately. But after the food arrived it seemed as though they would take longer and longer to stop by. I think this is a trick at AYCE places so your food settles, and you don’t order as much. Moving along to the FOOD! Honestly, I was not impressed. The brisket and the marinated chuck were our favorites by FAR. My daughter loved the terriyaki chicken. Pork belly, shrimp, tofu stew, kimchi soup were all disgusting. The sides are SMALL and never once did our server offer to refill a side for the AYCE deal. The veggie plate had 5 pieces of vegetables on it for christs sake, how does that feed 3 people? Server never refilled water, never asked if we wanted another beer. The only upside to the service was the very nice girl that switched our grill out every 10mins. All in all it was NOT worth the 23/person to eat here. I’m glad I tried it(although my stomach is telling a different story right now) but I would not go back.

I had high hopes for this place considering the good reviews. And well, I was disappointed. My parents and I drove an hour away to eat here because our friends told us this place was good and a little cheaper than GEN. This place didn’t have good service. We came in right before rush and they told us the wait was about 15 – 20 mins and we waited way longer than that. What also bugged me was that there were many vacant tables and I didn’t understand why they didn’t open up those tables when there were a bunch of people waiting to be seated. When we got seated it took a while for someone to bring a grill and take our order. When we finally took our order the food came out before the grill was even turned on to heat up. We were super hungry and having to wait for the grill to get hot to cook our food was frustrating because when you’re hungry it just seems like time goes by much slower. Turning the grill on as soon as the waiter takes your order would help so that by the time the food gets delivered to the table, the customer could get cookin’ right away. They also had a new soup they just released which was kind of like a porridge and it tasted horrible, it just tasted like they put rice and water together with no flavoring. We asked for water w/lemon and they never gave us our lemon but they said«I’m gonna cut you up some lemons right now». We didn’t even bother asking again. Not very many of the employees were sincerely nice either, they seem to put up a fake smile. My parents and I didn’t even take advantage of the AYCE, we wanted to leave because of the horrible service. So we left after 2 rounds.

Went back again and sat at the bar with Christian, he is the most attentive, awesome server ever! Asked us at the beginning with banchan we liked and brought us more of it. Kept our the meat flowing & our drinks full! Salad, rice paper, and radish never ran out. It was a busy Saturday night(Valentine’s &3 day weekend), but the neat came out quicker than ever! Vincent greeted us right when we sat and had our drink order out in the blink of an eye! Always impressed with this place and especially tonight! I’ve been in the service industry for 14 years and always recognize and gralty appreciate being well taken care of! Good job U-Grill, you definitely know what you’re doing! :)

Came here with a group of friends on a Sunday evening. We were originally going to go to a different kbbq place but the wait there was over an hour! Thankfully the wait here was much shorter(about 10 – 15 minutes). Service wise, our waitress was very friendly and our meats were brought out promptly. All the meats that we tried were absolutely delicious! My favorites would have to be the marinated pork short ribs and the curry marinated pork belly.(And brisket of course!) We also got a nice big pitcher of soju. You get to choose two flavors to mix in and at such a good price! There is no button to call the waiter, but they check on you frequently for additional meat orders and grill changes so this was never a problem. My only gripe is that each table doesn’t have its own sauce/oil bottles or salt. Each person gets a little dish but it’s such a small amount. If you ask for more, they just bring the container and scoop it/pour it into your dish for you instead of leaving it at the table. It’s a shame I live so far. If I’m ever in the area again, I’m definitely going to stop by before leaving.

3.5 stars First of all let me start off with they have AMAZING customer service. We had two servers that always checked up on us & were super friendly & sociable. I would give them 10 stars if I could(: as for the meat, I think there was a limited selection. but it was good.

3.5 stars — I have quarterly dinner dates with my girlfriends and one of them was craving Korean BBQ. She had originally suggested Gen(on Foothill Blvd & Rochester), but I’ve been there about 4 times already so suggested we try U-Grill instead. Since the setting was more low key and didn’t have a club vibe, I figured it would be easier to talk. It was a weekday. Dinner starts at 4:00PM so we had just missed the lunch which was $ 14.99. For dinner, they have two choices«Dinner A» is $ 17.99 and you can chose from 32 items and«Dinner B» which is $ 21.99 and you can chose from 40 items. Additional items in «Dinner B» are Master Links Portuguese Hawaiian Sausage, Marinated Duck Meat, Fresh Cut Sirloin, Chuck Flap Tail, Beef Tongue, Beef Short Rib, Finger Short Rib, Pork Cheek. When they brought out the Banchan(small dishes), I thought the portions were tiny. There were three of us sharing them and had to keep asking for more cucumber, kimchi etc. Our server brought our drinks out and said he would be back with straws and he totally forgot them. So we had to flag someone down to ask for straws. Other than the meat, we also tried the Japchae(«Stir Fried Potato Noodle» on the menu), Assorted Vegetables, and Corn Cheese. I thought it was rude of one of the food runners(wasn’t our server) to literally drop the plate of meat on our table(instead of placing it on the table) and quickly walk away. It would have nice to announce what she was«dropping» off. Overall, I thought the food was decent, but the service could have been a bit better. They are an alternative to Gen which happens to be the more popular and better known KBBQ restaurant in the city. Check out @Rancho_Cucamonga_Eats on Instagram. 159⁄100 Reviews for 2015

Possibly my favorite kbbq spot in the area! Their meat is top notch quality. Service is pretty good, our waiters Chris, and others Christian are awesome servers. Their banchan is pretty good. The typical ban chan but very tasty and fresh. Love the vibe here. Very welcoming, more so than GEN kbbq on the other side of the freeway. Would definitely choose this place over Gen any day of the week. I recommend their corn cheese! Out of the ordinary but definitely a must try! They have great beer choices and also soju! Their soju is priced well and taste awesome. I love u grill!!!

I enjoyed this spot quite a bit! I took my mother here for lunch on a weekday and it was the first time we had Korean bbq. The waitresses/waiters were so welcoming and took the time to explain everything. I was quite impressed how much they hustled around and managed to keep smiles on their faces, noticed and appreciated The smiles alone would keep me coming back. The good was fresh and amazing in flavor. My personal favorite was the calamari steak and kimchi. The all you can’t eat for $ 14 and some change was beyond fair. My mother enjoyed all of her meat choices. I personally felt like tipping more at this Restaraunt because the staff works together and customers are constantly asking for more items. I will definitely try this particular Korean bbq especiall because I didn’t see veal on the menu! Thanks U-Grill for the best first time experience.

Came here on a Sunday around dinner time. There was a 15 – 20 minute wait and we were only a party of 2(the place isn’t that big so it gets crowded fast). We ended up sitting at the bar because we didn’t want to wait, they have grills at the bar too which was cool. The place is clean and the servers are very attentive. They were having drink specials so we got 3 sojus for only $ 8. We got the dinner option A which was around $ 18. The options for meat was pretty regular except they have shrimp and calamari option. Overall I like this place because of the drink specials and great service. They also have lunch for $ 14. Im subtracting one star because Gen has more meat options for around same price for dinner.

This place is pretty good and it’s competing with Gen down the street so it’s pretty hard to beat that. Service was not bad and the food wasn’t bad. Everything was just alright. The only thing that would make me go here instead of Gen is if the wait was more than 2 hours there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The one different thing about this place is their corn! It’s pretty good but I wouldn’t get more than 1 plate of it.
