Legends Burgers

Legends is my go to place. I haven’t eaten anything here that I didn’t like. The portions are big and you get your money’s worth. I love their French fries and boy do you get a lot of them, even with a small order. My family is in love with the legend fries which comes with chili and cheese and topped off with so much pastrami its sinful.
The only issue is that every time I go after not going for a few weeks the prices keep changing and it’s getting more and more expensive.

The atmosphere is fun and loud. Lots of signs a great place to play «I spy» with the kids. A wide variety of food items on the menu from pancakes to burritos to burgers. The serving sizes are quite large in my opinion. A kids meal could feed me fine. I personally like the chicken strips meal #11. Comes with a side salad, 3 chicken strips, and lots of fries. The drive through is decently fast during busy hours and the food was still warm when I got it home

Had a great time and had amazing food pastrami cheese burger, chicken tenders, and deep fried mushrooms.

I’d like to start off by saying I was torn when it came to choosing the star rating. I was struggling between choosing 4 or 5 stars and ultimately went with a 4 star rating. Reason being price. So let’s begin…
Food: Everything I have tried thus far has been delicious. This is your typically diner style food with HUGE portions.
Price: I feel that even though they have huge portions the price is still a bit on the high side, but by just a little bit. (This is why I couldn’t decide on the 4 or 5 stars) Now if the reason being that they’re a bit pricey is because they actually pay their employees decent wages then I’m all for it, but if that’s not the case then I’m sticking with my original thought.)
Atmosphere: Very 50s diner type feel inside. Open, clean and inviting.
Drive-​thru: Typically on the slower side, but remember folks they are making all your food to order so can’t really dock them for that now can we.
Service (Drive-​thru): Honestly they don’t have the best service. They tell me the price take my card and leave me waiting without another word pretty much every time I’m there. I’m not really expecting a conversation, but the persona of the workers really gives off a I don’t have time for you right now vibe. (Now I feel better about my 4 star rating) So I guess I’m just asking for a bit more friendliness through the drive-​thru.
Service (Inside): It’s been a really long time since I’ve actually gone inside so I’m going to say its good.

Food is always good, never disappoints! Portions are huge. Everything is good about this place except two things. One being, the drive thru is SUPER slow. Just go inside… It’s probably quicker. And the other being it is getting sort of pricey now with their last price increase. My in n out meal is cheaper than this. BUT it is correct that you get more food at Legends. The ranch dressing is amazing and most of the staff is nice and friendly. Fries are amazing well done. Cool place if you’ve never been here before! Try it out but keep in mind the time Alta Loma High gets out of school because then it gets crowded and rowdy.

The two stars is for the nice setting of the restaurant. The have good portion of foods but I am not satisfied with their salad.

The food is always top notch and the portions are huge. If you’re not starving, share! The fried zucchini is my favorite. Staff seems in a hurry to not have to talk to you and is usually a little on the freezing side but still worth it!

Counter service with table delivery and self serve drink fountain. I ordered the bacon avocado cheese burger with onion rings. It came pretty fast (although not many customers for 11:30am) and it was delish. Friendly service, comfortable setting and prices on par with most like restaurants. Will be back again.

Can you pleaaaaaassseeee open up more in the inland empire. Like rancho or Ontario. I freaking love this place but Alta Loma is too far to drive sometimes.

Good breakfast, hearty servings, good coffee, good prices. Omelette was great, will be back.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. Love this place, the nostalgic and whimsical décor.
I ordered the Legends Chili Cheese fries. Fries smothered with chili, cheese, topped with pastrami and grilled onions. Comfort food at its finest.

I have been coming here for about 10+ years and my last visit was just a disappointment. The portions are becoming much smaller. I got the large legends sampler and its about the size of a small and the bacon mushroom cheeseburger (besides the fact that they forgot the bacon) the burger looked the size of childrens burger. Then I ordered a banana split that came already completely melted it was a waste of money. I use to look forward to coming here to eat with my family but have been sadly let down lately.

Sausage burrito! Amazing!
Eggs were fluffy sausage well cooked and the hash brown were a perfect addition, def coming back when I have the time.

Just ate at legends. Got the chicken breast salad as usual. The portion is huge. I must admit that I like not leaving hungry in addition to the fact that the salad has as much meat as lettuce:). I find this place to be a great value. The food quality is good and always consistent.
Here’s a tip… I always use the discount card I got from the Los Osos basketball team fundraiser. It saves 15% off the bill. I just saved $ 5. The card only costs $ 10 and is good for an entire year! A true no brainer! It’s nice to see a local business supporting the local schools

The décor is so awesome! 50’S throwback. So ok the décor was cool but the food was meh. While the portions were huge the food was mediocre. I got a cheeseburger meal and the fries tasted like they were fried in dirty ass oil. The meat had no flavor and the lettuce was sour.

The food is decent, but the portions are HUGE. Seriously, I got a kids meal the other day and still had enough fries left over to feed a family of 4.
3 stars because of the cost. The above mentioned kids meal and drink was over 7 bucks.
If you don’t mind paying a bit more, get the Buffalo burger. Really lean meat, and of course, huge serving size. You must be paying for the ambiance, cus it is pretty cool on the inside

Huge selection of some of my favorite dinner style foods and some great Mexican choices. Food always comes out fast taste great. Wish they would serve breakfast plates all day though

This is a great place for burgers that are so messy you need a gazillion napkins to eat them. The onion rings and fried mushrooms are so tasty. They have a good seasoning. The shakes are made from real ice cream and the avocado burger had giant chunks of fresh avocado. This is a great place to bring the whole family.

My wife and I like to coming here after hiking in Etiwanda hiking trail as this place is always a nice reward after a nice long hike.
This place is very over the top decorated with 50s auto memorabilia. Lots of seating and lots of parking.

My husband and I usually order salads from Legends. I always get the Crispy Chicken Salad and he always gets the Carne Asada salad and we get the thousand island dressing. The salads come with large pieces of tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, hard boiled eggs, pickles, and a side of pita bread. The salads are huge and I can barely finish it a majority of the time.
Once in a while I’ll get the Gyro combo which comes with fries and a drink, zucchini fries, or cheeseburger.
We mostly order at the drive-​thru but will eat in sometimes. They also have an outdoor seating area and had one of our dogs with us before. We ordered her a plain hamburger patty for her lunch. ;)
