Laser Derma Care

I was referred to Laser Derma Care for a consultation on a cyst I have had my whole life. I wasn’t sure if I actually wanted to get it removed after so long but wanted it check out. I had been to see a previous doctor and wasn’t comfortable with her so wanted a second opinion. Dr. Mac and Laser Derma Care are phenomenal! From the minute I walked into the office, I felt very comfortable and at ease. The front desk ladies have always been very polite and friendly during my multiple visits. Dr. Mac was very thorough in examining the cyst and explaining the details of the removal procedure. The cyst was just above my right eyebrow. I was always self conscious but nervous with operating on my face if it wasn’t necessary. By the end of the appointment, I schedule my removal for the following week. The procedure itself was a little less than 2 hours. Dr. Mac made the whole thing as easy, comfortable, and painless as possible. The PA (Rancho Family Practice side) that removed the stitches was wonderful as well. Following the procedure, Dr. Mac and Melissa G. stayed in touch with my healing process. And I healed perfectly, like the cyst was never even there! I never realized how removing the cyst would boost my confidence and I am beyond thrilled with my results. I LOVE Laser Derma Care. For well over 5 years I’ve gone to Kellie for my Laser treatments and Chemical Peels. I won’t go to anyone else. They have a great selection of products, and Melissa is always so cheerful when she greets you for your appointment. Do yourself a favor and book your next treatment here.

I came into Laser Derma Care to get a chemical peel. And I must say the ladies where super nice the minute I walked into the door. I was greeted by Melissa who was super amazing, nice, and most of all super informative she told me all about the treatment I was going to receive and informed me of all the other services they offered for my acne problem. Which I will definitely be coming back to do. After she checked me in she handed me over to Nurse Kellie who was awesome and very patient with me because I had so many questions. I am very happy with the results and will definitely be returning again soon. Thank you Ladies for an amazing job! Five Star Service all around!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Went for a consult on what could be done to my eyes, they ended up having time to do the procedure. Huge mistake. Dr. McMillian is nice, but not sure he is skilled in doing Restylane. Left office with –0– written instructions, was told by McMillian I could get a hold of him if any problems. Started to swell and bruise, his service would not contact him. Dr. on call said to go to emergency. It was embarrassing, I incurred a bill from emergency and doctor’s group at San Antonio, could not work for 4 days till swelling went down and bruise was able to be covered with make-up.The Restylane was so obvious, everyone could see it. He injected me again with something in the area that was still sore to try to fix it and it hurt so bad, got a bruise again. Wrote him a letter about how disappointed I was with the result, I never heard from him. All 3 times I went to the Laser Derma Care side, the receptionist was late and I had to wait. Good indication of an unprofessional office when you walk in an office and no one is there 3 times. Do not go here and check out the doctor first.

The receptionist was very nice and sincerely apologized for the wait (about 20 min), which was a nice change from the typical waiting room experience. I hadn’t asked about the wait or complained, either. The nurse asked whether I had gotten botox injections before, used ice before the injections, took her time, was knowledgeable, and didn’t make me feel like a number that was being hurried in and out at the blink of an eye. Great experience!

Dr McMillian is the best! Painless injections!
