I really do love this store but I’ve had 5 to many experiences in THIS store of mis priced items! You may ask, how can an item be mis priced here when everything is $.99? Well they now carry items that are $ 1.99 and $ 2.99, this isn’t an issue to me in general but when these items aren’t marked with price tags or any kind of signage, it can be very frustrating! This happened to me tonight with a box of chicken wings, no signage or price tags indicating a higher than the normal $.99 price. When I got to the register the cashier scanned it and asked me if I still wanted it after the screen indicated the higher price, I said no and asked why it wasn’t priced, her response was«I don’t know and there’s nothing I can do about it». This has unfortunately been the typical response from $.99 store cashiers. What’s the policy for something not being signed properly at $.99 store you may ask? According to Steve, the manager on duty, the policy is that we get the item for $.99! I called and spoke with Steve immediately after this incident, he apologized and said the stocker that morning forgot to put the signage on and that he was sorry! I asked manager Steve to train his cashiers and he pledged that he would. Please, if this happens to you, complain! Ask for Steve or the manager on duty, call corporate or even weights and measures! This has to stop!

Good selection of products, and as one would expect, cheaper prices by the most part, but smaller in size. compared to regular outlets. For a quick need for a small price, worth a visit. I find eggs and milk along with fresh produce to be a bonus.

I love a good deal and the 99¢ Store is a great place to get one. The have all the essentials for party planning, snacks, baking, house care, pet care, hygiene and random toys. You can get necessities that are so inexpensive in comparison to retail price. I suggest starting your shopping trip there because you’ll save a ton of money! I’ll be back for sure.

Ever since I use to work for them, I really liked the store, well excepted when I got let go! Think it was my first job I got fired from, back to the review… ever since the store has been established they have always had and be able to get quality products in the store, not like the cheap discount stores’ poor quality items. Ever time I shop here I find new items from the name brands to really good quality food! It is a great place to shop and really not worry about having to use coupons! Great deals every day on everything especially during the holidays and decorations!

i live on ARCHIBALD so i come here often. funny thing is this is Alta Loma but with all the riff raff outside(alot of homeless men outside) its kinda ghetto. The other nite i went to the Fontana 99 n it wasnt ghetto n was fully stocked compared to this one. wth it should be the other way around.

One can always find some interesting and surprising things here. I once made a bet that I could clothe myself with items bought there. I was write. You can literally buy t-shirts, underwear, socks, footwear and even pants sometimes. They carry brand name merchandise as well. I have bought food there as well and never had problems despite what people say about stores such as this. They are obviously uninformed. The staff is friendly and it is conveniently located with plenty of parking. You cannot beat the hours either. I am indeed a fan and have converted many others who knew nothing of the store.

This is a older location, but still centrally located on Base Line. There is a lot of parking, but the area as well as the store are a bit scuzzy. Still, they have a huge selection and you never know what you will find for a buck, worth checking out if you are in the area.

The parking lot of this location is pretty hustling & it’s hard to find a close spot. The store itself is average. It’s arranged well inside, nothing special or huge. This store surpsingly had cellophane gift wrap when even Target & Walmart didn’t have it. They only had one design, but oh well! Watch out for the cheap plastic bags they use to bag your items. They bust very easily! I ask them to double them when I buy bottles of juice.
