California Pools – Upland

We have had our pool for almost 3 years now and have been very happy with it! Thanks to Jim Montini who was most personable and helpful, he got the job done and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Jim not only knows the trade well, he is an exceptional designer who helped us create the pool of our dreams. After the pool was built, we understood even more the details Jim had planned for us, both in regards to functionality and design. He also went out of his way to help us design a landscaping plan. The other day our pool heater had a problem and Jim had it taken care of the next day. We will keep referring Jim and California Pools to our friends and everyone who is looking to have a pool built by a company they can trust!

We have wanted a pool since we bought our new home several years ago. I met with numerous pool contractors including CP. I wanted to make sure we made the right decision, this was a lot of money we were going to hand over. We worked really hard for this money so this job needed to be done right and it needed to be with a well established company.
We had some pool companies never show up to their first appointment, others couldn’t provide references/​pictures, some were really mean and disrespectful. We dealt with Jim Montini, the day we met him we liked and trusted him. We didn’t pull the trigger then but he wasn’t pushy, he gave us our space. When we were ready to pick up again, he was early to our appointment and ready to chat.
After finalizing pricing/​finances and the contract is signed, things start happening so quickly. They have this pool business mastered! One subcontractor comes, does his job and as soon as they leave the next one is here picking up where the one before them left off. It was amazing seeing what is involved in putting together my magical pool.
Due to an unfortunate accident Jim was involved in, he tapped out for a bit but Quinton from the Corona office jumped right in. This company really works so well together, they have each other’s backs. It didn’t matter how dumb my question was or that I was changing my mind on the stone color again. Quinton or Eric always took my calls and talked me off the ledge.
My beautiful pool was completed in 8 weeks! I also had added a couple of things after the fact and the still did it. They didn’t do a sloppy half fast job either. Their workers always cleaned up their mess and were very courteous.
I would highly recommend CP to anyone looking at putting in a pool. No buyers regret on this end at all!

Jim Montini supervised building our pool in 2014. Throughout the process Jim was always just a phone call away. He was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly. He was always on top of things. The pool is beautiful, everything we wanted and more.
Over a year later, we had a problem with the pool timer. We called Jim. He responded right away, and sent someone out the next day who fixed the issue. It’s hard to find that kind of customer service anymore. Thank you again, Jim,
