I would give zero stars if I was able. My Mother’s purse was STOLEN the first time we went into this store by the employee, Miss Ramirez, and her sister (who later we found out by the supervisor that she was not supposed to be there, she was behind the counter, we thought she worked there) There was $ 1,300 inside the purse, my 73 year old mothers ID, Social Security, Passport, bank cards etc… I am a single mother with a 1 year old baby and a young daughter now we are about to be homeless because she stole our deposit and rent for a new place! We have 7 days to come up with $ .I’m disgusted by the owner as well. When we brought the situation to his attention in a polite manner, as we knew it wasn’t him that committed the crime, he immediately accused us of a lying about having that much money inside the purse. Smh unbelievable. We are honest people and do not believe in getting over on folks, doing anyone wrong or stealing from anyone. Because we know we must answer to the Most High. We were the last ones out, as they were closing the store and they were WELL aware we were searching high and low for this purse because we told them and looked for about 10 minutes! (We went right back to the store) They were acting really strange when we left and I even mentioned it to my mother… The next day When we went to speak to the supervisor she ended up calling her at work and she lied and said that she gave the purchase to another lady who was asking about a stolen purse… really? Nobody was in the store as I said. And just ironically someone happen to be looking for the same cream colored purse huh? the supervisor and other employees Knew she was lying and said so. The supervisor was extremely nice and she actually wanted to fire her but the manager is sticking up for a theif and a liar. I gave her a chance to mail the purse back and do the right thing and now I am taking legal action. I filed a police report. And will be suing them. Stay away from these dishonest people! I will make sure I tell all my connections to do so as well. You reap what you sow and you have NO IDEA what situation you have put me and my family in.

Great prices. New stuff at flee market prices. Alot of new things every week. Always a cool place to stop at every week. I recommend it if your looking for prices better then walmart.

While my sister was visiting about 2 weeks ago, we saw a commercial for this place. Based on the commercial my sister wanted to visit because they made it sound absolutely amazing.
Day after the commercial we were off to check it out. Lots of things. Poorly organized and lots of broken stuff. It’s true that they have a bit of everything but they were things that you’d find at other discount stores fairly priced.
They have a section of clothes where every article is $ 3.00 and that’s lovely. The only problem was that they were things that should have never been more than $ 3.00.
We thought we were going to a store that would empty our wallets but instead I was actually bummed that I drove all the way there for that. I can’t even say that it was just me and that maybe others might find excellent stuff. It was simply not worth the time or the drive.
2 stars because I did buy a little necklace and 3 t-​shirts.
**This is my very fair and very honest review. Any and all emails from «customers» or employees will be completely ignored/​deleted. Yes, I’ve already heard about harassment to other person with plenty of reviews and time on Unilocal (hint hint see every 5 star review) that has actually been very fair with their 2 star review and that has been contacted. The only thing anyone has to do to know my review is legit is to go visit soon after my review. Hopefully this place will step it up and my review will just be a 2 star past. ;)

This is a great place to shop for different things on a budget! Need pots pan kitchen appliances clothes shoes video games? The list goes on. This is the place to be! When you go there ask for Sabrina! She is knowledgable about the entire store! She is always a great help when I go there and yes I have been there quite a few times! Would recommend!

Good deals on everything. Especially the smell goods. Sabrina is a great help. She was very courteous. I will be back again to shop around. Keep up the good work.

After reading the reviews, I was wary. But it wasn’t as bad as described. Yes, everything is laid out on tables except for the clothing. But the goods are arranged by sections, more or less. There are deals on appliances like coffee pots and crockpots, if you need one. I noticed a number of items from Kohl’s and K Mart. The music here is quite loud.
You wouldn’t shop here looking for anything specific, but you might luck out and find something useful and/​or decorative. I managed to spend $ 15 today. They do have some strange items like snowblower covers. It’s a treasure hunt. No dressing rooms to try on clothes yet, but they said they would exchange clothing for store credit. I will be back.

What happened tp Universal Wholesale in Rancho Cordova??? Looks like a Goodwill Thrift Store blew up and now just piles of used clothes.
Funny they only have 1 person working the store saying she works 11 hours a day and she asked us to leave the store as she had to go to the restroom. Said could not leave us in store unattended.
This used to be one of my favorite stores, now we are never going back.

Initially, I was super excited about this store when my mom gave me the flyer. It had clothes, shoes, housewares etc. for deeply discounted prices. Finally got the chance to go in today and was underwhelmed and kinda dissatisfied. It’s a pretty far drive for me. The store was busy with people coming and going. But it was an absolute, unorganized chaotic mess! And there were no real deals or discounts. The majority of the stuff I could find cheaper at other places. Some of the merchandise was new, but looked so old that it should have been donated. It’s funny because the patrons were piling up their carts like it was the best deals they ever seen. I won’t be back.

If you’re into searching for good deals at thrift store, garage sales, flea markets, etc, then you’ll love this place. Everything is NEW, and there is a bit of everything: clothes, shoes, small kitchen appliances, perfume, makeup, home décor, toys, bbq and outdoor items, and more. Clothes are all $ 3 each (cheaper than most thrift stores).
I had to return an item, and the owner was very nice and professional and helpful! Check it out!

I found many great deals, everything you could think of … from kids toys to cologne and perfumes. My family likes saving money, and we saved a bunch !!!
