Awesome food, fast friendly service, cant find a better roll for the price. We are here once a week at least.

Hubby and I went here for a date night tonight, we hadn’t been here in a while cause we didn’t care for it the first time but we decided to give it another shot. We placed our order: I got a bento box, we got a sushi roll to split and, he got a nigiri and sashimi. Anyways, my bento box arrived and I finished it, then the sushi roll came, and we almost finished the sushi roll before my husband to receive his food, this was at least a 10 minute wait after getting my roll.(I would like to say at this point the restaurant wasn’t that busy, and most tables around us already received our food) As I was about to eat my last piece of the sushi roll i, it was then that I found a short black hair in the ginger. Of course I was absolutely grossed out. After I told a waiter he said he will see if something can be done about the check. I have experienced or witnessed at other restaurants that something was done discount, free meal, something. However, all I got was two half-hearted apologies and no other type of compensation Needless to say, we won’t be returning to this returning.

Soho sushi is a very average sushi spot with some decent décor and average service. There really isn’t anything that’ll knock your socks off about this place but they are fairly consistent and a decent spot for lunch. The sushi rolls are pretty pricey here, except during happy hour and the lunch/dinner bento boxes are likely the best options you can get. Have been here several times and find myself ordering the teriyaki tofu fairly often and some sort of tempura dish in the bento. Overall, not a stellar sushi joint but will do in a pinch. Pros– Happy hour prices Menu Décor Service Cons– Average taste Average portion size Parking during lunch

Soho Sushi never disappoints. The service is great, the prices are great and the food is incredible. Everything is excellent, but their appetizers are really exceptional. I’m obsessed with their spicy edamame, very few restaurants have it and no one else’s is as good. They also have the best stuffed jalapeños I’ve ever had.

JAY and FRANK are our favorite sushi chefs!!! They make such amazing rolls, just the way we ask them too! We always ask for light rice at any sushi restaurant and no one has gotten it right until now! We go there a few times a week & will continue to go there! Excellent service and food!!!

Went to Soho Sushi for my first time! It was amazing! We had an excellent server«Lyon» who recommended the King Kong, Stuffed Jalapeño’s, Deep Fried Calamari and Spicy Edamame!!! The service was EXCELLENT, and the food was PERFECT! Definitely going back soon! Happy Hour + Happy Prices = Happy Customers!!!

This place is INCREDIBLE… I have been more times then I can count and each time I am never disappointed. Who can argue with half off rolls and 5.00 sake? Ummmm nobody! I love sitting at the bar, they’re so friendly and funny it makes you stay and buy more! You will not disappointed and if you are you just don’t have class or a sense of humor and the combination of both is a boring life to live! Cheers Soho, keep up the awesome work!

I’ve been here many times and had a decent experience. However the last 3 – 4 times have been horrible which is why I feel compelled to write a review. First off it’s 3:15 and there’s only one table of folks so I can’t understand anything taking 35 minutes. Once my two rolls came they were cold! They were both hot rolls & not even the cream cheese was melted :-(after waiting another 10+ minutes for them to heat them I noticed that they forgot the sliced jalapeño. Nobody greeted me at the door I had to track the waiter down. He was nice enough. The other waitperson was on break. I really hope they get the food & service back into this place it was good at one time. If in a hurry this is NOT the spot for you.

I was so excited to try this place out! Everything was great, food came out quickly. That can be a good thing or sometimes bad! Sushi was mediocre until I was halfway though. Almost cut my lip on a piece of metal. I don’t know how it got there, but I didn’t finish my dinner! So watch out for metal pieces in your sushi!!!

This is usually my go to place for sushi because I live in the area. Their sushi rolls are half off all day, every day. I especially like the Ninja Roll, the Lyndsey Special, the Zinfandel, and the Moon Special. Most of which you can get during Happy hour! Also to mention that they have .99 cents Sake bombs from 2pm to 6pm, this is a must try place.

I’m sooooo bummed by the service we received because we are a family of six that loves sushi and it had been almost a year since we’ve had it. Thinking«let’s go close to home» we decided to give Soho a shot. Right off the bat we should have know something was wrong. We couldn’t even get our drink orders taken care of with out confusion.(1 sprite, 1 water, all lemonades… not all crazy… just no soda for the kids). Then we ordered the soho sushi boat, asked several questions for clarification to ensure we got what we wanted, waited 45 mins(mind you this was after church, and three hungry children) and lo and behold… she brings us the love boat!!! After we had asked questions abt the soho boat!!! Since we had already waited so long we decided to just keep and then order additional rolls(which made it more expensive). Add insult to injury the additional rolls that we ordered were cold :(I won’t even get into trying to order our mochi!!! Why two stars then, because my kiddos loved the gyoza, and the teriyaki chicken was really really good. Really unfortunate that I have to write this review, and I didn’t think to get the young ladies name. She was never really engaging, she didn’t apologize, she did offer to send it back and correct it but we had already waited 45 mins. No discount, no thanks for understanding, nothing. To me that screams, we don’t want you’re patronage. So bummed, could have gone to Samurai or Ichi Maki!

I’ve lived in the area for about 3 months now but have steered clear from soho because I heard it wasn’t worth trying. Just yesterday, I had to drop my mom off here to meet with someone. The attractive exterior was enough for me to say eff it, I’m going to try it out. Upon walking in, I immediately noticed how even more attractive the interior was. You kind of get a zen feeling. I’d say this place is very comparable to crazy sushi since they have many 50% off rolls and serve as many rolls as possible on one platter. It definitely makes the dishwashers life easier that way. We started out with the fried calamari and agedashi tofu. The tofu was my favorite ! Light, crunchy, and delicious. The calamari they serve looks and tastes exactly like Rudys hideaway. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then just think of calamari in the form of a fish stick . After being overwhelmed by their list of tolls, we decided to go with the seared tuna, crunchy dragon, ninja, and salmon scallop. Ah, they even taste similar to crazy sushi ! As far as quality goes, they’d have to take the win over crazy sushi. 2 appetizers and 4 rolls came to the amount of $ 45. My bf and I looked at eachother in awe. We’re used to spending at least $ 100 at our favorite sushi spots. Will definitely have to take advantage of their happy hour one of these days :)

Great lunch place! It’s our go-to for team lunches. Great service and good location. Good sashimi and rolls along with good size bento boxes. Also has seasoned edamame.

First time here. It was otw to a comedy club in hazel so we stopped by and wow what a find! There was about 4 – 5 sushi restaurants in the area. But we came to this one first because it was the closest in our maps and i was craving udon. The sushi was good also but the marks roll was really really good. The service was fast. The bill came out to $ 45 for 2 specialty rolls an udon and 6 sake bombs. Ill definitely come back whenever im in the rancho area.

The sushi was great. Our waitress on the other hand was sort of airy. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she was new, but my friend who is was woth, who is a regular said she wasnt. I asked her some questions about the menu and she answered. When it came time to order I made the changes that I wanted(she told me I could & there wouldn’t be an extra charge). She came back 2 times telling me I can’t do this and I can’t do that and it would be extra… I was annoyed so I just ordered something completely different. She never came back and refilled our drinks, and trust me people, the place was dead. I would go back though. The prices were reasonable & the rolls were big. I was a fan.

Too bad i can’t give NO star to this place, they don’t deserve a star at all even 1. This wasn’t the 1st time they gave me and my co-workers the most horrible service. This time theres more to it, the Chirashi was horrible… cheap stuff. I usually chew my sushi like a gum but this one i had to chew 1x and swallow right away if only i am not thinking of how much money we have wasted i would have thrown it. Now i am afraid i might get salmonella poisoning bec i ain’t sure if its even fresh… good thing i went w a co-worker as my witness. Never again and wont recommend. Last time I was here I ate a roll thats on a fire and i ended up spitting my food bec it taste aland smell awful like i was eating propane gas/fuel.ONTOPOFITTHEYWERESLOWEVENIF U CALLED20MINSBEFORE U ARRIVED. Good sushi joint in rancho Cordova! This is the first time we tried this place and it is pretty good and we will definitely return. Location: good clean area and next to a lot of other food places such as: a pita place, famous burgers, and a Thai place. Also, there is a huge Bank of America building in the same complex so parking on a weekday was busier than usual. Atmosphere: nice and clean place with a modern look. It is very spacious and had multiple televisions for sports lovers like me! Sushi bar was decent size… Employees were friendly and efficient… They all wear black! Food: all the rolls are 50 percent off which is great! We ordered a flaming dragon roll which was wrapped in foil and they actually light it up and it flames for about a minute to give the roll and nice charcoal flavor! The roll had deep fried shrimp, crab meat, spicy tuna and avocado. I also got a bento box which I had the option of picking two selections: I selected shrimp tempura and tonkatsu. It was good but the shrimp tempura was small… It also came with a salad and miso soup. Good overall and will definitely come back.

Lets be honest with our self here: you don’t come to SoHo for the authentic Japanese experience… You come for the specials and service. Once you acknowledge this, you cant really be disappointed. SoHo is walking distance from my hotel during my work travels so it automatically becomes a no-brainer based on that. Should you not share the same luxury, we will touch on other points; happy hour and ½ off all sushi(all the time?}. Why not! Happy hour ranges from 4:00 — 6:00pm every day, 7 days a week. With it, you are offered a wide variety of foods from spicy edamame to various rolls(at a whopping $ 4.50 each). Should you not make it into HH, you still have the luxury of ordering any roll on the menu for ½ off the menu price. So your $ 12 premium roll just became $ 6. There are also beer and sake specials if youre tryin to get turnt up on a budget(we’ve all been there). I could pinpoint every roll that I had… But why? Ill be as vague and to the point as I can; huge portions, fresh fish and options options options. I ordered 3 rolls and spicy edamame with a bill just under $ 20; I dare you to find anything nearby that could beat it. As a solo diner, this was enough to make me limp out of the door and fall into a food coma the second I hit my hotel bed. 2 people can easily enjoy dinner for $ 20? In this economy?! Sign me up. Interior is swanky with flat screen TVs surrounding the inside. The service was prompt and friendly. The sushi chefs were on their game and made sure I was taken care of. To be honest, id eat here every night if I wasn’t trying to ditch carbs all together. SoHo, I don’t know why youre so cheap but I applaud you. I didn’t get sick and my wallet is happy so you have a fan.
