Great Clips

You could not even make this up — that bad. My 13 year old son wanted a haircut. We usually go to Supercuts b/​c I have a couple on my phone they take every time for $ 5 off. We tried Greatclips on Sunrise b/​c it is pretty new and clean. We have never been there before. So my kid uses the app to set an appointment. We get there and the girl asks if we have ever been there before — he said no. She said OK and starts cutting. She did not ask him how he wanted his hair cut and he has a very specific way (long sweep on top cut with scissors — clippers #5 on sides). When she is about half way through the wacking I look over and he is almost crying. I go over and he says this is not how he wants it cut. The girl said «I looked it up in our computer and it says scissor cut with one inch left on top — WHAT? He said he had never been to that Greatclips. She got all stand off and said look — here is what we have for LXXXXXX. Ya, that is my sons Grandpa! Same first initial and last name. She cut his hair like a 76 year old mans hair. By now my son is really crying (not a good look on a 13 year old boy). We went outside to leave then I went back in to talk to her. She said she could fix it and we should come back in a few days. He hated the cut so much I talked him in to going back in right then. So the girl said she would take care of it so I sat down. Apparently she said to him is a soft voice «next time you need to be tougher — don’t cry like that». She she screwed up his hair now she is going off on him! The manager also got involved and hovered over him while the girl tried to un-​cut his hair b/​c she had already scalped him.
Clean shops — clueless people!

Alright so here’s my thing. I am not too picky about where I get my haircut done. As long as it looks fresh and clean. When I came here, that’s what I was looking for. It is not what I found. They love to make conversation just as much as they love to get the haircut done and over with. They aren’t patient and careful. I went there twice and both times I noticed they were just rushing to do it right and not being careful and diligent with there work. I am truly appalled by this since this is sincerely considered a «profession» yet it didn’t seem like they were professional. I now live with the half ass work on my head they performed instead of the art work I was hopeful of receiving.

2^nd time here… I asked for a low fade Mohawk. My stylist went high and tight. The back of my Mohawk was not blended. After she was done she did not give me the mirror to see the back… Smh. I got disappointed when I got home and looked in the mirror to see the back of my head… GreatClips is not so great. They should give the stylist more time with a client haircut other than zipping through it… I gave her a $ 10 tip. Total cut cost with tip $ 25. I probably hit up a Barber shop next week instead.

If i could give this place negative 5 stars i would. I waited an hour wait just so they could tell me they couldn’t do my hair because they wanted to charge me $ 20 more than my usual price. I come to great clips every week to get my hair straighten. Im mostly upset that they wasted an hour of my time waiting to get called and they manager was yelling at me in front of everyone saying she couldnt do my hair for the same price. I feel so embarrassed. Do not go to jeanne she is the worst!

This location is clean.
The wait is never long.
Employees are nice and professional.
The quality of cut is standard. I’ve had my 5 year old sons hair cut her 5+ times and never had any issues. And his hair is cut by a new person nearly every time.
The prices are very affordable.
They have tons of DumDums for the kids and a few toys and books for entertainment.
If you’re looking for a quick cut and aren’t too picky– Great Clips is a good option.
(I would not get my hair cut here but that’s because I am psycho about who touches my hair)

Nice Place Great people, great service, very clean, I got a deep conditioning and hair cut I love it. I will definitely recommend coming here. The only thing I didn’t like was, as I was booking an appointment, since it’s all the stylists on their own, they can’t see everyone’s appointments and don’t know who or when they are available. But not a big deal. They just called me back after verifying. Thanks Great Clips salon! Will be coming back :)

This shop still has not disappointed me yet. Gianna, Grace and Nicole are stand-​outs. Also like how the place looks clean and tidy at all times. Very friendly staff, too. Definitely a cut above.

Veterans can redeem a Veterans card for a free hair cut November 11 through December 31 2015 with proof of military service. Limit to one person. :)

The girl cut my hair uneven. Highly dissatisfied and never ever paying for a cheap hair cut again :(I take pride and joy into my hair and it was finally the length I wanted it. I told her 1 ½ inch at the most and she chopped like three inches, not to mention how in even it is!
UPDATE!
The store manager called me after reading my Unilocal review and asked for me to come in so she can help me out. Such a very sweet nice lady! I was unsure of going in at first because I’m usually not the type of person to cause a ruckus but she trimmed my hair for me and made it 10x better! Thank you so much Bailey :)

Great place. Waited maybe 2 min. Nicole was wonderful. Glad they have a system to keep notes of when you were there last and what they did.

I have no reason to go below 5 stars. Very clean, new building, friendly staff and no wait time.
I already had a short shaved head and just needed a clean up so the rating on a haircut might be inconclusive at this time but my «stylist» knew exactly what I meant when I terrible described my request and performed quickly
Not to mention being brand new the $ 6 hair cut can’t be beat.
Maybe I’ll let my hair grow a few months and then see how the handle that mess

This is a new Great Clips. I decided to try them out and was very pleased with the quality of my haircut and the customer service.

Very professional and very quick. The staff got me in and out in under fifteen minutes. BTW, they have an opening special you’ll want to take advantage of and try them out.
Cons:
They are fans of collecting personal data. Bummer.
The parking for this place is seriously wacked. Just bad.
Pros:
When I complained about the data collection they backed off.

My daughter & I went in for haircuts– I have short hair & my daughter likes her’s long.
We each had our own stylist. I was completely satisfied with my haircut– I wear a punked out pixie. My daughter’s haircut was also very good – not just a straight cut along the bottom but layered so that if your hair frizzes when it gets humid– you don’t wind up looking like pyramid head.
I also like that the stylist asks how much you want cut off, etc. even though it’s in the computer as somethings I like to change things up a bit.
They were still giving a discount for their recent opening– not $ 5.99 but $ 7.99.

Disappointed haircut that I’ve got from my hairstylist which it cost me about $ 15 which included haircut and shampoo. Also went in for a quick clip but was interrogated which I felt that this hairstylist asked me and I’m like it’s my business, not yours.
