I am looking for a new salon and I called this salon based on some positive feedback on Unilocal. From the moment they answered the phone it seemed really unprofessional. When I asked about making an appointment for hair I was put on hold and hung up on. Then when I finally got Lillian on the phone she set my appointment and then asked for my number so she could call me to cancel if she decided to go to the coast. UUMMMM isn’t that why I am making an appointment. Seems silly giving a review for a place I wont go to. Call and make your own decision but the entire experience left me with a bad feeling. Based on the Unilocal it seems the primary focus is nails. I want someone who truly loves hair to cut my hair and in my opinion, anyone who answers the phone should be welcoming and be able to schedule an appointment.

Jenny Pham have her own way of doing gel manicures. I’ve never had it done that way and it turned out very nice. A lot of places put the gel on way too thick and it looks like your marbles on your finger. But the way Jenni does it it’s nice and thin.

I will never ever come back. Absolutely horrible. I called ahead of time to find out how much they charge for a basic pedicure. It was a fair enough price. I came in only to find out that they have no spa chairs so she literally did my pedicure in a nail spa home kit, the kind you can buy at like Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It was awkward and I just wanted to leave. I asked where I pay and that’s when she tells me it is cash only. OKAY first off if that is the case then there should be a sign posted in the window or it should be verbalized to customers. I had no idea so I was horribly embarrassed. Then I look down at my toes… and OMG H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E! I might as well have done them. They were so awful. So I had to run to the bank and pull out money and all the while I was thinking, I’m just going to go home and take off the nail polish, but not before I post some pics for all to see… Mine are the ones with the hearts on the big toe. Do you notice how one of my nails only has half the polish on it, or how about the nail polish on my skin? AWFUL!

I have been having my nails done every two weeks by Nance Stueben at Annie’s Attic for over 8 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Her work is always perfect. She really cares that you are happy with the look of your nails. She is very talented with nail art and gives wonderful pedicures. She’s very careful about sanitation and keeps her work station impeccable. I highly recommend Nance to anyone who wants truly beautiful nails and/or a relaxing pedicure. It helps, too, that she is also a very nice person. :-)
