A big congratulations to Famous Burgers. In this article in National Geographic, according to Unilocal,Famous Burgers in Rancho Cordova is the 5th best burger place in the US. The guys there deserve it, the food is always hot and fresh and the owners couldn’t be friendlier or harder working. The place is always clean and welcoming. It’s a go to place for burgers and with this ranking I hope they do even better. Keep up the great work guys!

So I’ve lived in Anatolia(close by neighborhood) for about four years now and have been going to a sushi place a couple doors down from here for years. Crazy how close something so good is and you never know about it until you stumble accross a National Geographic article that states«Famous Burger» in my little neck of the woods is rated number 5 by Unilocal in a list of top burger joints in the COUNTRY! So needless to say being the burger fanatics we are we went right in. I ordered several different types although not all the fries they have available. They were all delicious. I ordered a plain meat patty for my son and it was perfect and he love it. Right away he said«I’m so glad we found this awesome new burger place». He’s four and he has a great palate. Never had what I would call fast food mystery meat in his life. I also ordered the jalapeño swiss burger. I was pleased that without me asking they offered options for cheese. I took pepper jack. They also asked my meat cooking preference which is unheard of anymore. The burger was fantastic. It was full and firm and juicy. The bun was tasty. The veggies were crispy and fresh. I could taste jalapeños in every bite. They put on plenty but not too much. I love this place and can’t wait to come back. The staff truly gives this place a loving family vibe. All of them even at the grill and prep area were smiling and involved. I watched them all the whole time I ate and I can feel a huge sense of pride in this place. I love it. You can’t ever go wrong choosing Famous Burger. Go now!

Place is really big! My husband got the famous burger which was really good. I got the pesto mozzarella grilled cheese, and it was ok. The bread was crispy and delicious, but the pesto tasted a little weird. Maybe it was just me. I’ll be getting a burger next time!

My fiancée and I have been on the quest for the best burger place in town the past couple months and today we strolled into Famous Burgers and we’re immediately pleased. The interior is very cool and modern and the staff were friendly from the time we entered the door. We ordered the Famous Burger of course and the Western burger, both were amazing! The patties were big, the produce was fresh, the buns are homemade and there was just the perfect amount of sauce on them! What more could you ask for in a cheeseburger? I would recommend this place to anyone! We will definitely be back! Also the garlic fries and seasoned curly fries were excellent too! This place is a must try and has taken 1st place for the best burger in town in my book!

I can see why Famous Burgers has a near perfect rating! As soon as you walk in, it just feels good. You hear burgers sizzling in the back, the atmosphere seems open and high up, the interior is clean and the space is well ventilated. We arrived on a Wednesday at 12:00 noon and most tables were filled up by then, but luckily there was no line until after we ordered. The cashier taking our order was friendly and most importantly, sincere. He asked if it was our first time in, thanked us for coming in, and served us in efficient time with accuracy. I pay close attention to minor details, and for me, it’s the unique, little differences that could make my experience unforgettable. I especially appreciated the sturdy red straws for soda cups, as well as the crushed ice! You know the kind you get at pizza joints sometimes, or at gas stations? THEBURGERBUNS! Chewy, soft. The food we tried(pictured): 1) Blue Cheese Burger with Garlic Fries 2) Western Burger with Regular Fries

We stumbled upon Famous Burgers conviently located right off the freeway, looking for a good quick bite to eat. We are more than pleased that we did. Besides the great quality of burgers, the staff was extremely friendly. Thank you Famous Burgers! Come to Manteca!

Famous Burgers is like a great dive burger joint located in a big fancy wrapper. Their surprisingly large and modern restaurant is located in a funky strip mall on the corner of White Rock and Zinfandel. You must enter the large parking lot from behind, so take your time and go slow. The menu is burgers and fries with some flourish. I tried their Famous Burger which includes grilled Pastrami and Swiss cheese, making the overall burger more Rubenesque. The burger was very good and may be one of the best in the region. The standard patty was large and cooked perfectly with a good beef flavor and lots of juice. The bread-to-meat ratio was also perfect with a great bun. I did not care too much for the toppings, but I am usually a burger purist normally eschewing the exotic stuff. The standard French fries were on point, although I will probably have to try their seasoned fries and onion rings on a future visit. There are only basic condiments available for the sides, and a standard Coke machine for beverages. This is a great option for people who want a classic burger in a nice upscale atmosphere without the grease stains and cramped seating found at other joints. So much to recommend here, so come early and often!

If I could eat here everyday, I would. Oh wait! I totally do! This place never disappoints. I have been supporting this family business for 10+ years, excellent customer service, clean facilities, fresh products and VARIETY! I have probably eaten the whole menu. The Western Bacon Cheeseburger is on point every time. Those onion rings pull me in every time! But if you don’t want beef, there are plenty of other options. Turkey burgers, pastrami sandwiches, MULTIPLE chicken choices!(Try the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich or salad if you want a bite of perfection) Salads?! Take your pick, Chicken, Ahi Tuna, Crispy Chicken, oh so many choices. Even vegetarian choices! Garden burgers?! Uh, yes please! Wait? Eggplant? Portobello mushrooms? Take my money please! I also have never been to a place where everyone has extraordinary customer service skills. Smiles from everyone, you can tell this is a family-friendly place. But don’t take my word for it, come on in and see for yourself!

I came here on a whim for a cheat meal late on a Friday. When I first walked in I was surprised to see how spacious the place was! I always love open areas cause I’m slightly claustrophobic. I ordered the Famous Burger with seasoned fries and a soft drink. I may be kind of biased because it was my cheat meal… but I have to say it was lovely having grilled pastrami on top of the beef patty. I was nervous that it would be a meat overload, but the flavors mixed really well together. I never felt overwhelmed. in fact, I felt compelled to do a little combo of burger bite, burger bite, fries. I’d say the size of the burger wasn’t anything impressive, kind of in the expected ballpark area. The fries portion was solid. Tons of flavor in them and they held their crispiness down to the bottom. Customer service here deserves two thumbs up. The bearded dude at the counter was real patient and eager to answer the few questions I had. I’ll come by again next time I’m in the Rancho area for sure!

Finally a burger place located in Rancho Cordova that I can sink my teeth into. Yes I know the habit and other places have been around for awhile but Famous Burger definitely tastes better. I came during a lunch rush which was a huge mistake but the food made up for the wait. I ordered the Kobe Beef ½ pound burger with a side of seasoned fries. It took about 20 mins for my order to come up but the burger was cooked exactly how I asked for it and the fries were super crispy. The menu is very broad and seems to be growing based on the new additions I saw. Get here before or after the lunch rush 12 – 1 if you don’t want to wait very long. Looking forward to enjoying another delicious famous burger in the near future.

Let me start by saying this is an amazing place with an extremely bright future. To start thing off well, they actually use REAL toilet paper in the rest room!!! Who does that!?? I ordered the Cobb burger but with a Kobe beef pattie and some regular fries. The burger came expertly wrapped in a nice piece of butcher paper. Eating a burger wrapped in paper is awesome because it helps hold the ginormously large burger together! The Cobb burger had a generous amount of bacon, blue cheese, and avocado but wasn’t too much to make it a messy mess. It was delicious. The meat was cooked medium, the bun was perfect and there was some awesome sauce on there to top things off. Fries were just fine, they use real potatoes, not potato mush extrusions, add a bit of salt and wham! Good salty freedom fries! To top it off, I ordered up a shake, which was made from scooped ice cream and blended up to perfection. I’ll be back, you should to. Live to eat!

I’ve been here once before, but I’m usually never in the mood for burgers per se. I also didn’t want to pop into my usual Chinese place for the 4th time in a week so this was my other option. I came in extremely hungry which is always a plus for the food. The spot is clean and well spaced out. I came in earlier thankfully which helped since I could sit wherever I wanted and I didn’t have to worry about not finding a spot to sit. There’s some seating outside as well but you don’t get the cushy seat experience all too often if a place gets really busy. Soon after I arrived though a large number of people came in so I would suggest getting there early if you can since well… the battle of the bulge is real. Lots of companies in the area that all go to war during lunch to try and fit things within an hour. Despite that though, the service was quick and efficient. Hell, I didn’t even have to ask for a cup for water which was nice. Anyway, I ordered the eggplant Portobello burger and the grilled cheese with pesto, tomato, and mozzarella. Wasn’t in the mood for fries for some reason so this was where my mind wandered. Originally I was going to get both the eggplant and Portobello burgers because of hunger but they had combined them into one thankfully on a new lil side menu that was on the ground near the register. The buns are tasty there. They remind me of the… Well, okay. If you’ve ever had Chinese pastries you’ve probably had a pork bun before and there are two types. One that is baked and the other that is steamed. These remind me of the bread around the baked ones, but not in terms of sweetness but the consistency; fluffy but not going to melt away when stuff is added to it. And certainly this did help with the burger. With two vegetables sitting on the bun after cooking, there’s a lot of liquid runoff from the vegetables. It didn’t break apart into little pieces which was nice. The vegetables were cooked well. The pesto sauce didn’t stand up as much to the vegetables in the burger as well as I thought it would. I took out the mayo to be a little bit healthier about the whole meal but I think for the sake of flavor I might have to add it back in the next time haha. I kind of wish I had asked for raw red onions in retrospect for both things that I had ordered. It would have been a nice texture change for the burger as well as a nice pop of flavor here and there. Usually it would be the lettuce that would facilitate this in the burger for me but after soaking in all of the liquid run off for a bit, they were flimsy at best and didn’t provide that little crunch that I needed from them. Not the places fault though, I blame the lettuce. The onion would have also added a little more to the flavor profile of the grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was well balanced. I don’t know if I would order it again since well… It’s a grilled cheese and I like making them at home where I can throw anything I want in there. If I could’ve ordered a tomato soup to go along with it tho I have a feeling that this would’ve blown it out of the park. But a dream is a dream is a dream. All in all, this place is a good place to go for a fix. Not the best that I’ve had but it was good all the same. You should go at the very least to have the buns. I’m sure the next time I go I will hopefully remember to customize things a little bit more to fit my tastes but I suppose that is the learning curve for any restaurant you come by.

You know when you sit down with your partner to eat and you’re both tired and thinking about other things and kind of grumpy and then you each take your first bites of food and. .and just look at each other in perfect, astonished bliss? That. That is what happened the first time I got food from Famous Burger. It didn’t cure the tired. But it did take away the grumps. Don’t think of this as a“burger place”. Think of this as a place you go to get food that will make your problems fall away for a little bit. Everything is good. Beyond good. Not perfect, but definitely beyond good. Way beyond. Go there. You’ll thank me.

QUALITY — QUANTITY — FRESHLYMADE — HEAVEN INYOURMOUTH. My First time trying Famous Burger since I moved here, and I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Hands down way better than In and Out and Habit Burger. Oh and I called 15 mins. Before this place was closing and not once did they hound me about it nor did they ever give off the impression they were annoyed or irritated. The customer service was amazing. The owners are seriously so sweet. You get that«family ran business» vibe, and they take the time to learn your name. I am so picky when it comes to beef, and these burgers are just out of this world. I had the cowboy burger and my boyfriend had the famous burger. We can’t wait to try the chicken sandwiches and ahi next! Get your butt down here, you won’t regret it!

I HAD to make the drive out here for lunch one afternoon because of all the great Unilocal reviews. I was feeling emotional that day so I figured a nice big(Veggie) Burger and some French Fries would really hit the spot. Parking was easy and it’s located right off the freeway so it’s convenient to get to. I agree with other Unilocalers when they say that service is AMAZING here because it really is. The guy working the register made small talk and really seemed to love what he was doing. He handed me my burger when it was done, and genuinely thanked me for coming in. I was really conflicted on rating this place 4 or 5 stars because they don’t make their own Veggie Burger, but the service really just bumped it up a notch. I ordered their Veggie Burger with lettuce, cheese and added guacamole(for $ 1.99) and also ordered a side of their French Fries but they also have Garlic, Seasoned and Blue Cheese Fries which look great as well. The fries were fresh and crispy and cooked nicely. It was the perfect amount to accompany my burger. The Veggie Burger was good, but what really made it stand out was the fresh bun… So perfect! I also liked their house sauce which was like a thousand island. I will definitely come back here again for another burger when I am in the area. Vegetarians will appreciate that they have more than one Veggie Burger(they also have an Eggplant and Portobello Burger) which is nice to have some options, and I want to try some of their different flavors of fries. Until next time…

Thank you owner Eman for the very nice Lunch today. This place has an average rating of 4.5 stars for a reason. With well over 300 reviews, I had to try it and was very happy I did. Probably close to the best burger I have ever had. Homemade bread, fresh ingredients, and free range meats, all together combined with family run care and attention; this is an excellent choice for a lunch. Clean tables, kitchen, and bathrooms as well is always a good sign. The tables were comfortable, modern, and spaced appropriately for freedom of movement in this spacious restaurant. It is a counter and after ordering they provide you with a pager system that alerts you when your food is ready for pick up. I tried the Famous Burger which consisted of pastrami lightly layered across a juicy Swiss cheese burger, with special sauce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions. BAMM! This place earns the title of Famous Burger and is a definite«DOAGAINSOON!» Thank you Eman and Famous Burgers.
