I love to visit this place every time I’m in the area. On this particular visit my wife and young daughter were with me. They had boxing on the tv which was ok with me but quite boring to my daughter. The gentleman that waited on us noticed that my daughter would probably rather be watching something else and changed the station to the Disney Channel. The food was great as always and their customer service is exceptional. I look forward to the next time I can visit!

A ripoff. I ordered the spaghetti & meatballs entre. The amount of actual pasta was ok but the two meatballs it came with were mushy, sticky inside and did not have a traditional Italian meatball taste. But the worst part of it was the $ 17 they charge for it. What a ripoff. They don’t even include a small side salad with the entrée, like all other places do. If you want a salad, you have to buy a gargantuan sized one that serves three. The place looks old, too, like an outdated version of IHOP or Denny’s. Not sure what the good reviews are about from other people, but I know I won’t be back. No wonder the place was practically empty when I went at dinner time on a weeknight. There are many other casual Italian restaurants/pizzerias nearby that have much more appetizing and better priced food, and are more aesthetically appealing.

Stopped by for a quick lunch last week with the bf. Fast service and very friendly. Had the Italian hero and a chicken pesto pizza. Hero was very good. Good quality meats and cheeses and oil and vinegar were perfectly balanced. Pizza crust so thin and crispy. Next time I’ll ask for light pesto and tomato. All in all, not a bad lunch :)

Colleague and I came here per a recommendation from our concierge. Very friendly and attentive service. The large brick oven beckoned to us so we split a pizza with a few toppings. Bring your appetite! The small filled us up and we were very hungry. Delicious as well! Cooked to perfection. Would try again if we had more time in town. No liquor license but they let you bring in from the liquor store next door, that’s a cool feature we didn’t try. Next time!

We were hesitant in trying this place with its less-than-rave reviews, but decided to give it a shot anyway. We ordered a custom«Dorian Grey» pizza, which is a white artisan pie, with basil pesto, mozzarella and fresh sliced tomato. We added artichoke to it, because I adore artichoke. When it arrived a short while later, I bit into it and it was the perfect thin crust, crispy and delicious. It was perfection. It was utter euphoria. Pricey, yes… for 2 cokes and the one pie, the bill was about thirty bucks… but for the sheer bliss that every bite brought, it was well worth every penny! Definitely would recommend, and can’t wait to come back.

Ordered a quick dinner from here last night and decided to try some new things. We ordered fried raviolis for appetizer they were so good crispy on the outside soft on the inside with marinara sauce on the side to dip. We ordered a large plain pie and a large white pie unfortunately I only had the plain but everyone else enjoyed the white pie. Gonna have to come back and try it again.

I went here the other night to pick up a pizza and an order of chicken Marsala. The total was $ 40.55. I was in shock. I was charged $ 15 for the pizza $ 3 for pepperoni on half of the pizza and $ 21.95 for chicken Marsala that consisted of two small chicken cutlets… no pasta! I was told it doesn’t come with pasta but I could make a salad from the salad bar. The person who took my order was less than what I would consider accommodating. Although the pizza is good the chicken Marsala was not. There were plum tomatoes on it and not true Marsala sauce. I felt like I was totally taken advantage of and even though the pizza is good it is NOT worth $ 18! I will not go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Hey Michelle E I couldn’t help but notice that you posted pretty much the same review for another local pizzeria by just changing some words around. I find it hard to believe that both pizzas had the same effect on you and I doubt the kids behind the counter made your dining experience a disappointment. I invite you to dine with me anytime at Pietro’s! Charlie might be one of the better cooks in our area. If you cant join me, then please go on your own and try his award winning made to order soups, many incredible specials besides the regular menu entrees. I also ask for you to give the pizza another try! If not, you can always go to Kinchleys or take a ride to Mahwah.

This is one of those places that’s been around for a long time and nobody thinks of. Actually, the food is quite good. Anthony has a knack for good veal and chicken. We take out from there a lot and as long as Anthony is cooking all is good. Now, it aint cheap but the ingredients are quality and you gotta pay for that. The atmosphere is a little dated but it’s good for families. Try the take out.

Great to see a family owned and operated restaurant with great food staying true to their Sicilian cuisine! Absolutely great and perfect for the whole family– we have a newborn and don’t feel uncomfortable bringing him!
