Waited for 20 minutes to be seated. Waited for an hour and still no drinks or food. Bad service but great atmospheres

Food is ok service I had a great kid young very pleasant guy the utensils were so dirty not even dirty plates looks like this knife it was horrible overall not feeling comfortable to eat here at all anytime.

Pretty good food, okay service, and the portions are a little ridiculous but at least it tasted good.

I remember the first macaroni grill in San Antonio (my sister was on the original staff the day they opened the doors).
I look at what for 20+ years has been my most dependable chain choice and what has become of it.
7 years ago I might have just complained that the focaccia turned into a loaf of bread somewhere along the way, or that the penne rustica no longer has a toasted stick of rosemary as a garnish.
Now, this is a shadow of its former self. I am sitting in the restaurant at 7:00 on a Saturday night and it is ²⁄₃ empty.
All of the entrees are 1000 calories plus, with any healthy options stripped from the menu.
Even as a decadent choice, the flavored are gone, the style is gone, the service is gone (our waitress was great but once upon a time macaroni would have had multiple servers).
They’ve padded their dishes with pasta and cut their prices to try to compete with Olive Garden and have devolved from what was once a truly fantastic dining experience into the lowest common denominator, bland over-​caloried, over-​salted food with no character.
I miss Macaroni Grill.

9 minutes or less… I think not.
After placing my order for the $ 9 9minute take out ravioli I was told my order would be ready in 30 minutes. Getting there right on time my order was missing one of my meals the bread and cookies I had added. I was told the cookies would be 10 – 15 minutes as they were made to order. Well after 25 minutes I’m just getting two of the saddest looking cookies known to man. 55 minutes for now cold pasta and two sad cookies. 9 minutes or less… doubtful

Love it here. Have to admit that I have only gone during lunch, never for dinner. And the reason for the 5 stars is really the incredible service I get every time, especially the wonderful Teri. No matter what, she always makes sure to greet every one who walks in and truly makes the dining experience great. Also, I have never had any dish that I haven’t liked. Portions are great. I wouldn’t say this was the best Italian food I’ve ever had, but for a chain and the quick service, it’s great.
