Have lived here in Ramona for five years and just recently stopped in with my husband to check it out. What a great place! Friendly bartenders, friendly customers and inexpensive drinks. Jukebox, pool table and darts. A really down to earth place and a great atmosphere! Who knew?!! Definitely going back for more!

Best bar in Ramona. Dollar drafts at happy hour. Best bartenders. Has a rep that is unfounded. People are great and friendly.

5 stars for straight up random amazingness. Cheap drinks, totally entertaining bartender, and friendly(if not slightly drunk) locals. Part of one of most memorable nights I’ve had in a long time, also thanks to the Extreme Midget Wrestlers that showed up.

Ive always threatened to check this place but never made it out until Mother’s Day this year. Sounds odd, but thats just how we roll… My mom, sis, and I stopped in here for a few drinks before meeting up with more fam later on. Met Ray who I guess is a manager? Super awesome guy… let us play some stuff on the jukebox, gave my mom a flower for Mothers Day, and chit-chatted for a bit. Other patrons were awesome as well. The main reason I am bothering to leave a review is because I asked Ray where they get their produce for cocktails(limes/lemons/etc) and he said Costco. I asked if he would be willing to try and stay local by encouraging people to bring in items from their yards and he said he would love that!(I am getting pretty hardcore about staying local/sustainable/yadda/yadda) So, peeps… share your wealth! If you have a few pieces of fruit to spare, maybe you can get a free drink out of it. Dont quote me on that, but its worth a shot :) (get it, shot?!)

Its a small bar, with lots of Ramona locals. Drinks are good and throw back priced. The Bartender can really entertain with some big tricks while pouring drinks! Fun but expect some charachters to pass through… LOL!

Our biker group has been here 3 – 4 times because of inexpensive drinks. Basic dark dive bar with a pool table. Bartender has always been friendly and attentive. Sometimes the place smells like the bathroom… Locals have always been nice and always a few other bikers from all over to to talk with. Just fine for downing a few daddy road sodas.

Okay, so they have their moments… I was slightly surprised when I went into the Turkey recently, to meet a friend who had come in from out of town(the venue was her choice, not mine). The patrons were not unfriendly(intentional double-negative) although the drinks are not quite as stiff as they used to be… all-in-all, the extremes are smoothing out a bit, making this place a bit more tolerable to visit. It still wouldn’t be my chosen hang-out, but I am no longer scared to set foot inside. I hear they imported a new bartender from Molly’s…that ought to spice things up a bit.

It is a good place to get a reasonably priced drink. Its always a plus to have a pool table, and most of the locals were friendly enough. They definitely like country music there! If you are looking for a DIVE bar, this would be your place.

Satisfactory!!! Cold beer and cheap prices, along with a side pot of hot dogs. If your in Ramona and need a cold no frills beer come on in.

It was an ok experience. The local’s were really rowdy and loud and seemed redneckish. The drink’s were at a reasonable price and I liked that they had a pool table. They also have an itunes jukebox so that was better than the radio, but all the locals kept playing country songs. It’s not the most posh place, but what do you expect for Ramona?

Ever drive through«downtown» Ramona and see this place and wonder what it was? Well, it ain’t an «inn.» It’s a no-frills, no-thrills bar. And if you ain’t a regular(and I wasn’t), prepare to be stared at when you enter, as in, «Who the hell are you?» Me(Otter): «We…are going to die.» Hey, before you go and pick those apples in Julian, throw one down at the Turkey Inn. Sort of takes the edge off those wholesome activities.

Great Old Roadhouse type bar. Built in the 30’s(?). Good crowd of locals. $ 1.50 bottle of ice cold beer 3 to 6pm. Good selection of Rock music on Juke Box and they play it nice and load. Check out the huge OLD(historical) Map on wall. One of best drinking bars around.
