Went Super Bowl Sunday thinking the place might be packed? Not hardly!!! Service was horrible and prices for beer was very high. Charged $ 4 per bottle for Bud Light and $ 4.50 per glass, and this was supposedly«Happy Hour» prices? We were told that a waitress had just walked out and quit and reason for the poor service. At these prices, I give this place a year for survival and probably explains why the place was about ¼ full of patrons on what should have been one of the busiest days(Super Bowl) Not going back ever!!!

I had no idea this place was in the neighborhood until I was driving by one evening and notice the bright lights shining down below from the road. During the day you would definitely miss it unless looking for it because the access road sits above the small strip mall it’s located in. Either way, I had heard about Tanner’s so I was happy to have an opportunity try it. My family arrived around 4:30pm and was greeted right away as we sat ourselves. It was early so plenty of open tables. Our waitress/bartender Anna, was extremely friendly and willing to answer questions as it was our first time. The menu has a variety of appetizers, burgers, wings, chicken/gourmet sandwiches and salads(no pizza as one reviewer said). We ordered two appetizers. The mozzarella sticks and drummies. Both tasted great and the dummies were big. In fact all portions were large. I included pics of the Big K Booga, Wai Ki Chiki sandwich and Eggy sandwich. Everyone was happy with their choices. It’s a sports bar and grill so the area was pretty basic with loads of TV and music. Overall, the service was friendly and timely, the food good and hot and the atmosphere pleasant.

Been waiting to go to Tanners for awhile, finally had a chance and I should have kept waiting. Beer selection was limited and staff was unaware of what beer they sell. Asked for a beer list, they said they are working on it. I guess making a list on paper is too much work, then again memorizing 8 different taps was also so what was I expecting. Menu is basic; sandwiches, pizza, appetizers and salads. Your basic run of the mill bar food, nothing memorable or making me go back. My table had two flies buzzing around it, always a little disturbing to be eating my food indoors and shoo away flies.

This is a new location for Tanner’s, so having never been to any of them we thought we would give them a try today. Walking in you can see there are plenty of TVs. There are varying seating areas, large tables for big groups, and high tops as well. There is also a small game room in the back corner with a couple of claw games for the kids in it and also Golden Tee. We sat ourselves and were greeted pretty quickly for our drink order. We noticed a lot of the tables were dirty and actually had a hard time finding one to sit at. I ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich with chips. I said I wanted no onions on the side, but they put them on there anyway. No big deal I guess, but it is a waste and I didn’t want them on the plate or on my lettuce. The sandwich was huge and a good piece of chicken. The chips could have been better. About half of them were crispy. The rest were rubbery. This is because they didn’t get cooked properly.(Shake the basket!!) My husband got the turkey club wrap with fries. He liked it. It held together well. It came with a lot of fries which are similar to Runza fries(crinkle). Overall service was good. We got timely refills and the food was overall acceptable for bar food so I think that we will be back to try it again. It is a welcome addition to our neighborhood!
