I hope my concerns get to mr. Hank via this email, as I have had little response from my current salesperson. I ordered 2 very expensive Hancock and Moore chairs December 15, expected delivery mid February. After not hearing anything I called my sales rep, January 25… To find out the fabric is out of stock and we are looking at mid April. Not acceptable. Chose another fabric and now I am being told another 6 – 8 weeks… really wayside. I need help and am not receiving any right now Hope this message dos not fall on deaf ears. Laura D.

I am very happy with the furniture I purchased from Wayside Furniture on Hillsboro Street. George was very patient helping me pick out a sectional sofa, sleeper, sofa, recliner and swivel rocker. He worked with me on the fabric and I am very pleased. I highly recommend Wayside Furniture.

We purchased a leather recliner from the Capital Boulevard location and due to miscommunications our chair was delivered before requested. After talking with the owner on several occasions, he acknowledged the communications breakdown, agreed to pickup the chair and credited our account. It is refreshing to find a business that understands and practices great customer service.

I purposely dress down when I go shopping. I was given an obligatory greeting and left to fend for myself. I was interested in purchasing 2 chairs and a table, but when I looked to find someone, no one was available to assist me or would make eye contact with me. Not only was the service subpar, the building and layout of the furniture is confusing and disorganized. You would think that if they were so proud of the furniture they would house and display it elegantly. Not a great place to buy furniture.

This furniture store has two Raleigh locations — one here on Hillsborough Street, practically in Cary, and the other on Capital Boulevard. They don’t have identical inventories, so depending on what you’re looking for, it’s usually worthwhile to make a trip to both, or to speak to the salespeople about what you have in mind and what you might expect to find at the other store. They carry lots of beautiful furniture, including many high-end brands. In addition to furniture, you can find lamps and accessories here — they also have interior decorators to help you put your whole look together.
