Tanas Hair Designs and Day Spa

I have always had great service at Tanas whether for massage, wax or hair. Shelly is my favorite stylist, but all are great!

I had an excellent experience here. The receptionist was kind and helpful and got both me and my 12 year old daughter in for a last minute appointment with no fuss at all. She even called me back to let me know she could get us in earlier! My daughter’s stylist gave super helpful advice concerning age-​appropriate and no maintenance hair styles and gave a superb cut and blow out, obviously taking into account what a 12 year old was capable of handling on her own. I saw Nadia, who took her time, was extremely knowledgeable, and ridiculously sweet. She gave me an amazing bob that looks fantastic straight AND curly (no mean feat!). At one point, she had to take care of another appointment, and her colleague Nikki jumped in with a smile and worked on my hair until Nadia was free again. All three of them were WELL worth the money. I will definitely be returning to this salon and these stylists.

I tried this place several years ago and was not impressed, but decided to try again in hopes of finding a new stylist. The person I tried (libby) was very very sweet. I was trying for a trendier haircut but walked away with something my 60 year old mother would get. So now I get to wait for my hair to grow out and look again for a stylist.

All the staff at Tana’s are very friendly. Lindsey gave me the best haircut of my life, and I’m a bit particular. I even see some men come in here for haircuts, which is unusual for a salon.
They give helpful recommendations for hair products depending on your hair type, and they have the products in the salon. When my daughter is ready for her first salon haircut, I’m certainly going to bring her here.

Karen is excellent with pedicures! All of the staff is very friendly, and the ambiance is relaxing.

Need a wax? Go to Parvin! She is great!

I struggled for a long time looking for a the right person to style my hair. What a relief to find JACK at TANAS. He is an outstanding stylist and professional. Really ONE OF THE BEST in Raleigh! I know, with great piece of mind, that Jack will cut, color and blow out my hair and it will look beautiful when he is done. People compliment me on my hairstyle often and I am so happy to say GO To Jack in Tanas. Now my daughter and husband get their haircut at Tanas in Ravens Ridge!
