This review covers today as well as previous visits to this location. This is a chain. You will get exactly the same food in Aruba as you will receive here. So technically I am reviewing every Subway on the planet in regards to the food. Cleanliness is store-by-store for obvious, sometimes more so than usual, reasons. Subway as a whole used to be the place to go for sandwiches. Prices went up and up and the amount of meat/vegetables/cheeses on the sandwiches went down and down. For the price Subway is no longer worth it unless you happen to like a sandwich with every single garnishment you can get away with without extra charge. I am particular to a very easy turkey sandwich with mustard and cheese. I get, and I’m not kidding here, 8 pieces of thinly sliced turkey with 3 slices of cheese and two up-and-down drizzles of mustard. When the sandwich is closed you cannot tell there is anything inside at all. For the $ 6 it costs me for a footlong, after taxes with no drink of course, I could have bought all of the ingredients from Food Lion and made 5 sandwiches. And let’s not forget the meatball marinara. Four meatballs, three slices of cheese and three splashes of ‘marinara’ does not a meatball sandwich make. The 2 for $ 12 special in stores makes me laugh because all it is is two regularly-priced subs. Makes me shake my head. This location gets two stars only because the service is fast and friendly and the store has always been clean. Based on the shady area it’s in that’s a welcome suprise. My visits here are only sporadic now that I find that Food Lion has their own deli subs for $ 3.69 and I rarely have the motivation to make my own sandwich. Happy subbin’!

This was my first time visiting this particular Subway. It’s in a questionable shopping center I prefer to stay away from. Anyway, I’m huge on cleanliness and this Subway was very clean. The staff was friendly and it was pretty busy for a Monday evening. The lettuce didn’t look fresh(it had brown spots) so I asked the staff member for fresh lettuce. She didn’t give me attitude and was happy to oblige.

It’s a Subway– but not a good one. I have been three times in 3 months so I think I am qualified to review it. I have eaten at Subway since I was a kid– so maybe there’s some nostalgia– the sandwiches still taste the same– so when the hankerin’ for an overpriced sub hits– I’ll search one out. This is the closest location for me from work– each time I have noticed that the commitment of the sandwich artists has been less than stellar– I’m not expecting you cut off your ear, put a little effort would be nice. Each trip has been a little worse. I generally get the same thing every time– same toppings. Turkey breast on wheat, «provolone», lettuce, tomatoes, a few onions, black olives, oil and vinegar, s & p and oregano. It’s not like I’m ordering every item– but they are so skimpy on them. The lettuce looks like the bag it came in has been open a few days, the tomatoes are not fresh and the black olives taste very cheap. I know we’re in «tough times» but when i spend upwards of 7 bucks on a sandwich I could easily make at home for half the price and thrice the quality… c’mon. The topper here was last time I went– and as reported by my co worker who went yesterday(as she said«I’ll never go back»), the owner seemed absolutely annoyed that I would ask for of all things a sandwich. I’ll drive 5 minutes more for the next closest Subway next time.

This is a typical Subway, no more, no less. The sandwiches are fine, and it seemed reasonably clean. I’d go back.
