Holy crap, DONOTSHOPATTHISSTORE. Seriously !!! They obviously sell after market or damaged shoes. I bought a pair of Nike sneakers there and within a month the soles were falling off. I went in to to return them and they would only give me an exchange, no problem, so I picked up a pair of Skechers. Within a week they starting making this clicking sound with each step. I went back to return them because of said clicking. The manager said that all Skechers are made cheaply and are famous for making noise. I have owned at least three pair and my wife has had many Skechers, not one has ever made this noise. He said there was nothing he can do because I wore them. No kidding? How else would I know they made noise when walking? AVOIDTHISPLACE!!!

Terrible customer service! overpriced and rude, unfriendly staff. Dsw is so much better!

Decent store. Don’t always have a ton of shoe sizes out. Selection for tennis shoes is ok. Dress selection is better.

First time at this location. Be sure to wear your walking shoes as this store has many aisles that are long and filled with great shoe selections to look at. Great prices, all sizes, really an excellent place to go for shoes. I bought two pairs today, one a pretty red one, and a second pair of sandals that were a silver/blackish color. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is that I think they need staggered seating throughout the aisles so you don’t need to balance your purse, shoes and everything else you are carrying while trying on shoes. Nice clean bathroom too. Fast, courteous service at registers.

I bought a pair of Clark’s here — they were priced $ 10 less than anything I could find online. Win! SRI had a pretty diverse selection, but not many quality name brands. If you like designer shoes, you should go to a department store or DSW. However, if you just want a casual pair of shoes for everyday wear, this place is great. I love the Clark’s I bought, but these were the only shoes I really liked enough to buy. They had a special of buy 4 pairs, get the 5th free. So that’s an awesome deal if you need to restart your shoe collection. They also had some $ 15 shoe bins, but I didn’t see any in my size or personal style/taste. I prefer the more hip/trendy selection at DSW, but SRI had some very practical/comfortable pairs, and I’m very happy with my purchase! I could see people walking out with some good deals if they happen to like the clearance sections.

I love SRI. I have been coming here since they were in their former location and were rarely open. Good prices, cheaper than dept stores, though if you are lucky enough to find your shoe at Marshalls it will probably be cheaper there. The selection is always better at SRI, though. I always look at SRI first, especially when I am on t he lookout for a special occasion shoe. you never know what you’ll find at SRI!

So I gave SRI a shot and I found it’s pricing to be similar or even more expensive than Shoe Carnival and other competitors. With that in mind, selection wasn’t bad, except my size always seemed to be gone for the shoes I was looking for. I’m not hard to please, I’m a guy who is not named Imelda Marcos — I like things simple, and that also goes for my shoes — simple, but comfortable and with an expectation of quality that will last a few years. The 10W’s were too narrow, so the 10 ½ W’s seemed to be the next best alternative but nothing fit well or there wasn’t any size close enough to choose from. Once I went to a competitor, I realized SRI was significantly overpriced and despite a wide variety of shoes, the size selection was indeed very limited.

Awful exchange/return policy. Purchased a pair of $ 300 Frye boots for my mother. Took them back for exchange within the policy requirements(wrong size). They accused my mother of wearing them outside. No scuffs. Just grit from her hard wood flooring. Rude and unprofessional! I recommend that you tread carefully.

I love this store. Sure, it’s located in a warehouse district and it’s not as fancy as DSW– but who cares! I love it. The staff are friendly without being overbearing. I hate it when I walk into a store and the staff keep asking me: Can I help you? Can I help you? NO– I’ll ask if I need help. If I walk into a store and try on as many shoes as possible– I definitely intend to buy(I don’t browse). The store has a decent selection of shoes, particularly boots. After trying on many pairs I finally found one that fit my foot and my budget. I just bought a shoe costing around 130 dollars for 60 dollars with a coupon. For someone who loathes shoe shopping, now I’m pretty happy. Sure, I feel like they could ramp up the store and get rid of the cheapo brands and add clarks ballet flats and perhaps a few pairs of oxfords, but it’s good enough for me. I wouldn’t do all of my shoe shopping here, but it’s worth a look now and then.

This 3 is not a 3. It’s a 2.5 I hate pooping all over a place.(That came out wrong, but you know what I mean.) I just feel like SRI is a low-rent DSW with higher prices and less selection of brands I actually want to wear. The ONLY reasons this joint got that extra .5(remember… not a three!) are: — Proximity to home — I got some REALLY cute Burberry looking Sperry rain boots last year for a pretty reasonable cost — Their sneaker selection usually doesn’t suck, and if you’re a gym rat like moi, that counts for something.

If you’re shoe shopping, give SRI a whirl before you shop anywhere else. I won’t promise you’ll find what you’re looking, but the price difference will be well worth it if you do. The shoe selection is very large, although whether or not they have your size will be hit or miss. The back corner sports a clearance section, and there is also a purse section. When you first walk in the door you are in the middle of the women’s section, which makes sense if you think about it – we do buy the most shoes! There are sections for men and kids too. You may not find exactly what you came in the door for, but you may find a nice alternative… and if so, your wallet will thank you.

I always find good shoes at SRI, for better price than anywhere else. What more is there to say?
