Booked a last minute appointment with Robin and had the most relaxing experience. She was very attentive and sweet! Highly recommend this place for a massage or other services.

Lauren applied my lash extensions tonight and did an amazing job! She is well trained and highly knowledgeable. Lauren is very personable as well and will make you feel comfortable and at ease while you get your lashes done. I asked for natural lashes since I have straight and short eyelashes and she exceeded my expectations!

You’re going to pay about twice as much for waxing than you would at a strip mall nail salon, but you’re absolutely getting what you pay for here — a luxe, calming day spa setting and vibe, professional and courteous appointment setting and front desk service, and great attention to detail when it comes to getting those eyebrows cleaned up by Nadia.
I’m looking forward to a return visit for trying out their nail and hair services! It’s a two minute walk to my office on Glenwood South, so perfect for quick visits in between meetings.

My favorite Spa and Salon in Raleigh! I would definitely recommend this place for anything from hair, waxing, facials, massage, or nails! They always do a great job!

The team did an amazing job with both hair and make up for the recent Peachy Keen fashion show. The theme was Paris and they nailed it — mostly updos and big, bold eyes. They were very considerate of our preferences and very efficient. The clients in the audience w’re very complimentary — we all looked terrific.

I wanted to learn more about make-​up from a pro, and so I booked a lesson here. Lauren worked with me, and she was wonderful — upbeat, excited, attentive to all my questions and concerns, and eager to teach, I learned a lot from her and had fun doing it! We also threw in an eyebrow wax, just to round out the process! I met some of the other staff that works here, and everyone is very positive and clearly passionate about what they do. They carefully select only top-​quality products, and are very concerned with wellness, not just aesthetics. I can’t say enough good things. I’m already excited about my next appointment!

First and foremost I want to say that the part that I enjoyed the most was the friendly staff. Scheduling a group that started out as 4 and ended up being 3 with various treatments was a breeze. This was super considering I had experienced trouble and blatant rudeness from other larger spas in the Raleigh area. Every time we called for last minute details we were met with excellent and accommodating demeanors.
I had booked this trip as part of my girls wknd out before Im a mommy trip lol.
I myself received a prenatal massage, facial, pedi and mani.
My friends received hot stone massage facials, pedi/​manis, Brazilian wax

Personal attention, even though we came as a group, our individual needs were addressed.
They have own parking in the back of house.
Robyn bought some delicious cookies muffins and teas! (Feeding pregnant women will take you far!)
Robyn is personable yet extremely professional! There was a moment where my friend and I were discussing whether or not I had booked specifically a hot stone for her (I couldn’t remember if I had with simple bliss bc I had spoken to so many spas) There was a price difference that my friend was unaware of after she had already received her massage. I was super impressed with how Robyn kindly reminded me without making it awkward or becoming belligerent that I had in fact booked the hot stone.
The results of my facial from Nadia were great!
I loved the selection of colors and the products used during my mani/​pedi.
OOOOOgoooodddd… the pregnancy pillows alone are worth the money… the gift of laying on my stomach is irreplaceable. I enjoyed my massage. Robyn’s touch was firm enough to provide some back pain relief but light enough to not concern me that she may have hit a pressure point or something lol (not trying to go into labor)
My friend had her hot stone with Jeff and came out looking like she had took part in something illegal lol! She raved about it for hours.
Cons:
Facial: 2 outta 3 of us had a minor rx to some product used during facial. My face had some light scabbing, and my friend’s flaked badly. Maybe we have sensitive skin… idk maybe product was on the stronger side.
Relaxation time: I didn’t speak up about it and I know about the woes of accommodating a group at a spa but I would’ve love to spend some more time just to lay on the chaise and chill for a bit more. I wish there was more than one chaise lol.
Mani/​Pedi: Forgive me I can’t recall her name either Stephanie or Lauren was the sweetest ever. I got the feeling she was kind of new either to the business or mani pedi servicing. She definitely took her time and was gentle and I do believe she will greatly improve with some more time. However I am used to very thorough (callus removal, buffing and shining nails, etc) mani and pedis and was looking forward to that and was in DESPERATE NEED! (I automatically thought that getting these services at a spa as opposed to a nail salon, that it would be something serious lol) So the pedicure was very basic but then again I am a pedi snob.

They share a parking lot with a half way house and are many looking homeless people in the lot… they said they lock the door so they feel safe… you also hear the sounds of cars going by… very nice people but the nail tech is very inexperienced and needs more practice… I will be paying to get my nails repainted.

I love Simple Bliss. The front desk girls are always so delightful and give Simple Bliss a great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. They always make sure you have everything you need in order to have a great experience. The shop is very peaceful and relaxing as well. Kara does my hair and she always does an excellent job. She is super sweet and always a pleasure to be around. I got my nails done by Robin and she gave me the best French gel manicure I’ve ever had. I also got my eyebrows waxed by Nadia and they have never looked better! She was very thorough and kind and made it a pleasant, relaxing experience. I love Simple Bliss and I will continue to go back there for all my spa/​beauty needs!

Took my mom here for a bday massage and got one for myself as well. It was almost impossible to land a same-​day «couples» massage appointment, but Jennifer squeezed us in and was so helpful and hospitable.
Robin, my massage therapist, was great. After our consult, she worked on my lower back, hamstrings, and hips to help alleviate some of the pain I’ve had in those areas. I feel great. I think my mom had Mark– he was great also.
The facilities were clean and cozy. The massage room had great low lighting and soothing music. We were offered a beverage before and after the massage. This is a small local business and I recommend supporting them versus visiting a chain. The service was thoughtful and personal.
They carry essential oils, cosmetics, and other merchandise, including «Headbands for Hope», a locally started brand of headwear whose proceeds go to cancer research.
Support this small business and others in the area! Lovely people, lovely experience.

BEST MASSAGE EVER! I just had a deep tissue massage and OMG! I have been experiencing chronic back and leg pain so I went in for a deep tissue massage that focused on the spine, legs and feet. At Jeff’s (therapist) suggestion I also added in aromatherapy. I went for the maximum, a 90 minute massage, and at the end I felt better than I have in a long time. He methodically sought out every kink and trigger point and kneaded it into submission. When I left I was moving much better than when I came in. I am definitely doing this again.
Oh, and did I mention that a 90 minute massage was only $ 100.00. Considering the attention I got, I think that was definitely a bargain.

I find it so helpful when people write reviews for businesses they’ve tried which is why I wanted to share my love of Simple Bliss Salon and Spa! I started using them this summer after meeting them at the Shop Local Raleigh Boutique Blowout. I started out with the stylist, Kara, for a cut and color and absolutely love her knowledge and creativity! She is definitely a natural in her industry. The setting of Simple Bliss is so relaxing and calming, I always look forward to a short get-​away from the busyness of the day when I have my appointment. Awesome staff and experience every time!

I saw Simple Bliss Spa relatively close to my workplace which is how I had stumbled upon it. It just kept reaching out to me it seemed, but normally I wouldn’t step foot in a place that had the word Spa in front of it. I had always assumed those were places that were more catered towards women. I was dead wrong. I actually learned that a spa can be for both men and women. My hair had been getting a bit too long to manage and I wanted to try some place new that was also convenient for me. I called up and was greeted by a very pleasant young lady named Joy who easily scheduled a hair appointment for me with Abigail. The whole experience was very enjoyable. I especially liked getting my hair shampooed. The hair cut looked great and the price was just right. I definitely will be returning for my next haircut. I might even check out some of the other options they have available for men.

Simple Bliss is a great spa and salon. They have a very wide variety of available services, a great atmosphere, and a friendly staff. I went in today and got a manicure from Abigail — I’m in love with it! She helped me pick the color and did a wonderful job; I can’t stop staring at my nails. Abigail has also done my hair before and she gave me the exact cut and style that I asked for. She’s very perceptive about what you want and has great advice for hair, skin, and nail care if you ask her. I will most definitely be back to Simple Bliss. The prices are also very reasonable. I had a great experience and will be recommending this place to all my friends in the Raleigh area.

Abigail does an amazing job on both hair and nails! I couldn’t believe how good a deal the women’s haircut was. I’m used to paying about $ 65 and it was only $ 35, and it’s a spa setting and she gave me one of my favorite haircuts ever.
It’s a really cute place. I also got a pedicure and it was really relaxing and the stuff they use smells amazing. Love it!

I’ve been going to Mindy for several years now. She is excellent!!! The salon is awesome and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

If you have not been to Simple Bliss, run there. And after you run there you will immediately feel the since of calm. From the very friendly receptionist to the relaxing waiting area, everything about this oasis says «omm…». I went to see Robin, the amazing owner, for a massage and I came out a different person. She took her time during our initial consultation and really focused on my needs. Once in the room she showed me the table, which has body memory pillows! I had never used those during a massage… so simple, yet genius. It actually allows your body to stretch you lower back and keep you pelvis inline while laying face down. Already just laying there my body was thanking me. Next the massage… Robin should be called the knot whisperer… she instinctively knew where to target my tension and just how deep to apply the pressure with slow, rhythmic timing. Hands down one of the best massages I have ever had. After my massage she took the time with me to give me specific aftercare instructions and while I can’t believe I remember them because I was so massage-​drunk, after following them I feel like I have a neck again and I am 2 inches taller. I will absolutely make this a regular part of my regimen… take care of your body and your body will take care of you.

I bought two spa packages from Simple Bliss for a Christmas present for my roommate and myself. We got manicures, pedicures, and massages. Everything was wonderful from the spa services to the customer service from the lovely ladies that work there. It was relaxing and pampering without being too stuffy or formal and my friend and I were able to enjoy some time together while treating ourselves to something special. I have great respect for Robin and her business and admire her passion for the work that she does. Her love and commitment to making others feel good is very apparent and I’m more than glad to support Simple Bliss!

I had a nice experience here with Christine (?) who cut my hair. She was doing a special, or a fundraiser, or somesuch thing where it was only $ 10. They let you wait in plush chairs and smell slightly overly fragrant perfumes, and the whole house seems ready for you to relax in it. Cookies on the front counter when I left. Will probably come back for a massage if I ever have a job again. (c’mon, recession. knock it off.)

I’ve been going to Robin for a few years now. And being an athlete, Robin knows just how to to loosen my tight muscles and make me feel good again. I just saw her a few weeks ago, because I had been flying alot and was tight in the upper back and neck. I was in so much pain, I couldn’t turn my head to one side… she fixed me right up! They know their stuff at Simple Bliss!
