I would have loved to have given this 5 stars because the food was delicious… however, the service was terrible. They brought out my husbands meal and I sat and waited for mine for 20 mins. By that time my husband had finished his meal. I understand that mix-ups happen but an apology would have at least been appreciated. I will try it again someday with high hopes of better service.

Food was very good. But the service was horrible they brought my wife’s food out when I was about finished eating mine. Would recommend that anybody that wants to eat there should order take out

The food was ok, I have had better Phở. I asked for fish sauce to go with my spring rolls and when she brought it to us she«tossed» it on the table and it spilled everywhere. There were ants everywhere. The Phở was not nearly as tasty as other establishments that I have been to. However my boyfriend got the shrimp friend rice and that was adequate but the shrimp were way over done. I don’t believe that we will be back to dine here.

Quality is always the same. Excellent. Very easy to do pickup or eat in. I am always happy when I eat here. Try it out. NC doesn’t have anything this good for vietnamese close by.

Near Grand Asian Market, almost nowhere else to go. Like the egg rolls. The bbq and egg rolls is okay, still prefer to have warm noodles.

This was my second time here. I ordered a large phở. You can pick any combination of meats with your phở, so I ordered mine with them all. The broth lacked depth of flavor. The meats were OK; mostly dry cuts of beef, but not atypical for phở. My wife ordered the bun(vermicelli) with BBQ pork and egg roll. The pork was well seasoned, but again, a bit on the dry side. The egg roll came out hot and crispy. The nouc cham(fish sauce) was not particularly strong in flavor, which will be disappointing if you like bun for the nouc cham. I would come back here simply due to convenience of the location, but would not go out of my way.

giving this place 5 stars because I’m sort of annoyed after reading a few three star reviews that are all like«really good food!» but then give it a low rating. Jesus, people. the phở broth is some of the cleanest I’ve ever had. the bbq pork vermicelli is super on point, too. this place is awesome, after two solid visits I will definitely be returning, likely very soon.

Recently my new obsession has been phở. Disclaimer: My expectation might have been higher because of Chinese New Year and all the really good food surrounding me. After the crammed shopping at Grand Asia Market(because of Chinese New Year), our stomachs were craving some type of asian cuisine. Phở Vietnam was conveniently right across the street. For 10 dollars, I was expecting more meat than I got. Most other phở places I have been have also given more of the bean sprouts and lime than just a small plate split between two people. Ultimately, it was average phở. I wish I had gotten more meat. The broth was delightful with a slight salty but beef filled aroma. Even my mom said she could taste the beef just in the broth. It is good for a quick stop. It is quite small but the owners do make use of the space. The service was nice. Our waitress seemed a bit timid, but overall helpful. It is worth a visit.

I would say that this is the best Phở in Cary, NC. The small is too small for me so I usually get a large. The phở has improved tremendously over the years. If you’re having a Phở craving, this is for you. The sandwiches are flavorful so it’s worth a try. I look forward to trying other dishes on the menu.

This review started Two years ago… We ate here last Sunday and before when they were Recently Opened(two Years ago) My eBay Bride and I Love Vietnamese when it is Really Good! Base on the Three«P’s» of what I enjoy when eating Vietnamese: Phở, Grilled Pork, Pork Meatball(many times a flat patty made from ground Pork)… Then an Avocado Smoothie and Vietnamese Coffee… A Great Bahn Mi Sandwich is a Bonus! Oh this Sandwich was so Delicious! Too many times I have been eating the Sandwiches Inspired by these and the Ones here are so much better AND half the price of the designer versions Phở My Bride and I agreed on the Flavor of this one… Nice! Less sweet! Fresh Rolls with what we call(so Vietnamese Restaurants do NOT call it a Meatball so some explanation may need exploitation) Meatball… I do NOT know what they call it(some Vietnamese Restaurants do not even have a place for it on the Menu… These Rolls are Plenty Good and they may not be called«Fresh» here, they are the Uncooked Rolls with Leaves, Rice or Noodles, carrots, cumber, daikon or other vegetables then wrapped in rice paper… Sometimes called: Summer Rolls, Basil Rolls, or even Spring Rolls(though I have seen«Spring Rolls» being the Fried variety(more)… Coffee Vietnamese Style

Good phở for this area. In a very weird location but don’t judge a book by its cover. I had a tasty large tasty round steak bowl. I love phở and I wish their large was a tad bigger with more noodles and meat. I can eat. Friendly staff and well operated. Small and clean. Would come again if I’m in the vicinity.

Have you ever gotten that Phở-ny feeling and get that craving for something hot, spicy, sour and oh so tasty? Well, Phở Vietnam popped up on my radar when I got that feeling and I knew I had to stop by. Honestly, I have to admit, when I pulled up out front, I was a little taken-aback, it’s quite an interesting spot, definitely taking over an old fast food joint or something to that affect. The building needs a face lift for sure, but does possess, oddly enough, a large patio out front. We started with a passion fruit smoothie(the sweetness will WAKE you up!) and fresh pork spring rolls(although the shrimp spring rolls looked fantastic!), it was a home run there! At $ 5 for two rolls, it’s a great appetizer. Onto the main course: Phở with the top three(out of six) meats for me and vermicelli BBQ pork for the man. The phở was good but not great, it comes with the typical toppings and satisfied my craving, but just that. The vermicelli pork bowl was delicious, although I needed to add a little spice. Overall, kind staff, odd atmosphere, good food and good prices, it’s a sold 3.5 stars that I’m giving a 3 until a future visit. I’d go back to try more items on their menu for sure!

I go to Phở Vietnam at least between once or twice a week both for lunch and dinner. The staff is really nice and remembers you when you go as often as I do. I normally get the Phở Ga, the chicken noodle soup. I found the broth here is the most flavorful out of all the other Vietnamese restaurants in the triangle. It is always served really hot with plenty of basil, lime and jalapeños. You get the option of getting the small or large. I alternate between the two, depending on how hungry I’m feeling. Both sizes come with a generous portion of noddles and chicken. I would recommend this to anyone that hasn’t had an experience with Phở before. It is a great anytime soup. I’ve also tried the Lemongrass Bah mi. The bread is always fresh with a slightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The vegetables that come in it are always fresh and with great flavor. A great option if you are on the go or want to try something besides their delicious Phở. Updating review: Failed to mention that service can be sometimes be rather slow.

I am not very experienced with Vietnamese cuisine but I can say that the Vermicelli BBQ pork was delicious! The pork was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The whole dish went together well and I like how you can sauce it to your liking. I have high hopes for this Vietnamese restaurant. The service was excellent! It is a casual atmosphere but you are seated and waited upon. Even though we strolled in half an hour before closing we had no pressure to order or eat quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A bill ticket is given during your meal and you go to the register to pay when you are finished. I also tried the Beef Lemon Grass Bahn Mi and though it was not to my liking, I have no past experience to compare it to. I think they made it correctly, it was just not what I thought it would be. The meat was sweet but a different sweetness than what I am used to. It is hard to pick from their menu. The food not only sounds amazing but the pictures will only make you want them all!

Phở broth is pretty spot on, meaty and flavorful. The meats themselves are high quality, tender, and delicious. You get all of the normal accompaniments(lime, thai basil, bean sprouts, etc.). Hoisin, sriracha, and chili garlic sauce are available at the table. I will start off by saying I am spoiled and have access to a variety of great Phở joints in Philadelphia. We were passing through on a road trip back from Savannah and really wanted phở and decided to hit up Phở Vietnam. The building was very clean and the wait staff was quite friendly. My only gripe is the pricing! The cost of living down South is typically cheaper than up North, but I can get a small bowl of phở here in Philly for !$ 6, and the small bowl is larger than the large that is offered at Phở Vietnam. A large bowl will run you about $ 9.50. I will say that it is a perfectly portioned bowl and we were very satisfied with it. I also noticed that the vietnamese iced coffee comes out pre-made. I prefer to have the dripper brought out with a glass of ice so I can determine how much condensed milk I want to stir in. I don’t like it to be TOO sweet. Not a deal breaker though, I just didn’t order one. Overall. Great phở. A little expensive but is definitely worth a try.

I enjoy coming to phở Vietnam for the noodle soups since this place is so much closer than the other phở restaurants in the Raleigh area. I would give it a four stars if only the quality is more consistent. At times, soups would be great. But other times, it would be very disappointing. I usually go for the phở, unless I want something a little spicy. In that case, bun no hue is my best option. The sandwiches and spring rolls are great as well if you are not into noodle soups.

We decided to try another phở spot, because… phở! Anyhow, I was excited to try this one as it is less of a drive than the other place we’ve tried since moving here, and the reviews seemed pretty good too. The phở itself is pretty good. There is only the option for large or small, and compared to other spots it’s a small or medium size-wise. I personally enjoyed the broth here and my toddler did too. My husband seemed to think it was just okay and preferred others more. The noodles were good too and didn’t clump together. I prefer the meatballs to be cut like coins, but they tasted fine here even though they were in wedges. What we didn’t really like about the experience was that the service was all over the place. We came in, were seated, then we were pretty much forgotten it seems. We had a long time to look at our menus, too long. Then we ordered, asked for water, and watched as other people were given water and checked on while we were ignored. Finally someone came around with a pitcher and realized we hadn’t even received cups for water. I asked for a straw for my daughter and then the staff disappeared AGAIN. Sigh. After waiting a few minutes, I got up to wait for someone to return to the register and asked again for a straw. Oh… and only one of our drinks that we ordered made it to the table at all. I really don’t know if they were having a really off day or if this is common practice here. =/ Overall, I want to like this place and we’d probably be regulars… but not with service like this. Guess we’ll keep looking in the area for our regular phở spot.

We were super hungry and we were in mood for something spicy. So, we took a chance on this little joint in what could be described as not so inviting from the outside. We had Egg roll, Vegetable spring roll and the Spicy lemongrass tofu. Found the vegetable spring roll to be different from what I have had. It was raw. The egg roll was impressive. We had low expectations for the Spicy lemon grass tofu. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The lemongrass accentuated the spicy flavor of the dish. It had the right balance of spice and sourness. Bottom line: Never judge a book by it’s cover.

After a hectic day, we stopped here for late lunch in hopes of having some phở. To our disappointment they didn’t carry any vegetarian or chicken phở. We ended up ordering two appetizers vegetarian rolls & chicken spring roll. The vegetarian roll had a lot of lettuce, which tasted bland for our palettes. However they did have a nice crunch with what I think was crispy onions. Chicken spring rolls was one of the best I’ve eaten. It had grounded chicken with good flavors. Finally we had the lemon grass tofu. The portion was really large, but it tasted good. I was happy with what we had, but only wish they had more options for me to choose from.

You know I’m a fan of any place that can offer delicious phở and yummy entrees in a speedy fashion! It’s a small restaurant with big flavor! The phở was tasty– loved the broth. The spicy lemongrass chicken was scrumptious. The chicken was not overcooked so it was absolutely juicy. My main criticism would be that the dish was more onions than chicken. Also, it wasn’t nearly spicy enough in my opinion. Service is very casual. You might get your water filled by a server or you might get some yourself! Entrees are priced well and portions are decent. Their menu is pretty limited– some phở, a couple of entrees and appetizers and that’s pretty much it. I just wish they had a more diverse menu because I’m all about trying new things!
