Oue La La Waxing Salon

The worst wax I have ever gotten! I have had at least 10 waxes before and this was the most painful and I even have 2 big patches of skin ripped off. It was horrible do not go here! She is nice but the service is not so pleasant.

RUN! Worst wax I’ve EVER gotten. I went in for a Brazilian wax, which always took much longer at other places in PA. I swear it was done in 5 minutes and not well. Other places tweezer stray hairs, they did not. No powder to help with any sticky wax left and I left feeling sticky. Got a couple ingrown hairs which had never happened before and I asked for her to leave a patch, but she just slapped the wax on and it was too late to correct. She said… oops! Experience felt like an attach with a roll of duct tape in a storage closet. I tried to give it another chance but when I rescheduled for later the same day, only giving them 22 hours notice, they charged me without communicating that they would. Bad customer service! Very Rude!

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this is a special case. I totally agree with the above review.
I bought a living social deal for this place and arrived 5 mins late. My appointment was for 9:45 and arrived at 9:50 because I couldn’t find the address. I was shouted at in the parking lot by a woman getting into her car asking me if I was here for a wax (talk about discrete). I said yes, thinking she was a tenant going to point me in the right direction. Then, she kind of laughs at me and tells me I’m late and she’s been waiting on me since 9:15. Dos she really expect people to show up half an hour early? I showed her my text message that said my appointment was at 9:45 and she starts arguing with me that I’m late and she can’t see me now and she has to leave to another appointment. When I booked online the website said my appointment was going to take 45 mins, which ended at 10:30. What’s 5 mins? Any other salon would have been understanding. Usually there’s enough time built into an appointment that 5 mins wouldn’t matter.
It was obvious she overbooked herself and after arguing with her for 10 mins I give up and decide to wait til she gets back because she refused to refund me. I shouldn’t have waited and normally I wouldn’t, but I drove all the way from Cary and I felt like it was a lost cause anyway. Finally, she returns and I cool down and she has no idea what I’m even there for. She’s totally clueless and rushes through my appointment and forgets about my second service. I have to remind her about my other service and she rushes through that as well since now there is someone else waiting. The place is filthy and the wax warmer pot was disgusting. I really hope she doesn’t double dip but it wouldn’t surprise me. It really was covered in old wax and the rim was visibly dirty from the table. Usually there is paper covering the table but she had a black bed sheet which I assume doesn’t get washed after each client. There is no way that place is up to health code, so I will be reporting it.
I felt so disgusting after I left and mad at myself for not trusting my instinct after the first interaction with her. That sort of treatment was not worth the living social/​groupon discount. Save yourself the money and abuse and go somewhere else. Katy’s Wax Studio is fabulous– get that groupon instead.

Okay… first things first. I purchased a Groupon for this place… and if you tell them you have a voucher from groupon, they will treat you like CRAP! They talk to you very rudely… no, let me rephrase that… they don”t have the decency to CALL you… but they TEXT you like they don’t want your business… next, if they see that you aren’t going to put up with their crap, they tell you that you should just not come and get a refund. its terrible! I guess you do get what you pay for… but other groupons have never treated customers like that… oh. and they are privately owned… HORRIBLE customer service… AVOID AT ALL COSTS for the sake of your humanity! :D.sheesh. i can take my business elsewhere… LOL
