North Raleigh Florist

I frequently buy from North Raleigh Florist, and sometimes even when I just stop in and ask for something pretty for my wife, the staff is always helpful and friendly, and always put together something amazing for me.

I have been using North Raleigh florists all of my arrangements of all occasions (sympathy, get well, congratulations). They have been wonderful to work with, especially with Samantha there. They never disappoint and the recipients of the arrangements have always been very pleased. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to using North Raleigh Florist again and again!

First of all, their website hijacked Fallons Florist for which I was calling and sent me to their site. When I called to discuss my order, their service said they were closed, but press #1 and we will take your order. The receptionist (off site) placed the order incorrectly. When I tried to call back, no one would help me as again, no one was in the shop at 1:00pm on a Friday! I asked to receive a return call from the florist … but no one responded. I CANCELLED my order via email! I DO NOT RECOMMEND North Raleigh Florist!

I was very disappointed in the flowers I received from this place. My husband ordered me some and for $ 80 I got a very small, pathetic bouquet. There were three roses, three daises and a bunch of greens. I was shocked when I saw how much he spent! And he was shocked when he came home and saw them. Not only that but they wilted and started dying after only two days! So sad.
I have a great husband who gets me flowers all the time and this was the worst experience. I would recommend English Garden in Raleigh as their bouquets never disappoint.
Also, their delivery was slow. I didn’t receive them until after 6:00pm and by that point the secret was blown as he asked if I received anything yet.
Very disappointed and he will definitely not be using them again.

I have used North Raleigh Florist for over 20 years and they always exceed expectations! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to make suggestions. They have done the flowers for my daughter’s ballet recital for 14 years in a row and always put a smile on her face!

I was thankful for the gift of birthday flowers delivered fresh. The arrangement was bright and looked well thought out. I was impressed at how long they lasted, as well. Calla lilies tend to be so tempermental, and the ones in this arrangement held up a week or more. The slender cylindrical vase with rocks placed in the base was more modern and fun than usual, too.

I came in and asked for a floral arrangement last minute and they were so helpful and courteous! A beautiful arrangement was put together in no time!

Husband sent me flowers from here for the first time (and hopefully not the last), for our 13^th anniversary today. Totally unexpected (Husband has only recently become a sending-flowers-guy)…I think they are awesome!
Love the square vase, the arrangement and the quality of flowers. Have no idea how much he paid for them (and will remain in the dark about that), so I cannot attest to quality for price, but for sheer enjoyment, I can say that I would love to receive more gifts from here, and will definitely keep them in mind for future gift-​giving myself.

My boyfriend ordered my flowers from out-​of-​state. He said the woman he spoke to was very helpful and knowledgable with putting the arrangement together. They arrived to my office around noon — gorgeous! Would highly recommend NRF for arrangements!

Brandi was alot of fun to work with as well as responsive and helpful. North Raleigh was cost effective, but the arrangements were just a little smaller than expected, but fit the table appropriately. The Bridal bouquet was gorgeous and had beautiful combination of flowers & color scheme. The larger altar pieces were well arranged to be repurposed to a lounge area aesthetically… overall very satisfied & would highly recommend.

I was referred to this florist by the funeral home next door to them. My Father suddenly passed away and I had to fly in from California. I didn’t know about any vendors in the Raleigh area. I only used them because I assumed that my funeral home wouldn’t refer me to a crappy place.
Well… to start with, I explained to them that I was sent over by the funeral home and I told the girl at the front counter what kind of flowers I wanted (cala lilies). She had the «deer in the headlights look» so her superior (Janice, I think it was) came over to help out. Janice was polite enough, but not what I would have expected when I tell you that I’m here to pick out flowers for a funeral i’m planning… A little more compassion and empathy would have gone a long way for her!
Although I wasn’t blown away by her personality, I assumed that she would get my flower order done correctly. After all, this WAS for a funeral and I did spend a lot of money for these arrangements. Not like it was just a birthday party flower order that got messed up!
When I got to the funeral home on the day of my Father’s service I found that my largest arrangement was not done correctly. It wasn’t even close to being correct! It was missing the most important flowers… the cala lilies! The first thing I told her I wanted was cala lilies! It was supposed to have cala lilies, red roses, and gladiolas. The entire arrangement only had gladiolas! My funeral home director called her and tried to get her to rectify the situation. She wouldn’t! She told him to tell me to come done there so we could talk about it! First of all, I had a funeral to be at in a couple of hours… the last thing I had time for was to go down there and argue with her about how she messed up my order!
She should have done the right thing and fixed this for me. Especially since that funeral home gives her a ton of business! I was also disappointed that she didn’t do the right thing because a lot of people that I know used her company to send flowers to my Dad’s service.
What a shame she is! How can you screw people around when they’re dealing with the death of a loved one?!? I’d suggest that you NEVER use this business!
