Driving down Glenwood today, my wife felt like we should look around for our new mattress. We’ve been planning to buy one when we move into the new house and we had a bit of free time to spare. Now, we had forgotten it was Labor Day weekend and had no idea sales were going on. Once inside, we were immediately greeted by Jesse(whom I will credit as a contributor to the salvation of my back in all future mentions). He wasn’t pushy and he had a nice look about him. The showroom was clean and everyone seemed in good spirits. They certainly created an atmosphere that was comfortable for laying down and testing mattresses. Without planning to do so, we ended up with a great king size memory foam mattress at a fraction of the price and with free delivery and 12 months of interest free financing. Good lord! All we planned to do was browse and we upgraded our entire sleep situation for the betterment of our future health.

I agree with Jerry in that it is the typical big box high pressure mattress store. The guy was doing the«car store» thing in that he would say to me «let me call my manager and see if I can get you yada yada yada». Thank goodness I called my husband from the store and he said leave the store. The salesperson quoted me a price for the mattress set charging me extra for the box spring, which I found out later from going to other stores comes free. He also tried to pressure me into putting 10% down on any mattress saying I could bring my spouse back within a month and get 10% off any one that we selected. Shame on you.
