I don’t know why it’s so difficult to find a reliable, ethical, PROFESSIONAL cleaning company! Molly Maids was a bust, after they broke several items in our home and tried to hide it. Recently we decided to try Maids, etc after seeing a Groupon for them. I spoke with the local franchise owner, who seemed nice and gave me a fair price for a one time cleaning. Although late, the«maids»(two women) showed up and did an excellent job. They accidentally broke a small ceramic, decorative piece I had in one of the bathrooms, but brought it right out and said to deduct its worth from their pay. I appreciated it so much, and wasn’t that concerned about the piece they broke, that I let it slide. I was so happy with everything, I called the franchise owner and booked them to come back every two weeks, ongoing. Fast forward two weeks and we hit the wall with yet another cleaning company. They were supposed to show at 9:30am, but instead at 9:30am, I received a call from one of the«maids» asking for our address, b/c her GPS wasn’t finding our house. She proceeded to ask if we were in Raleigh(our address is Willow Spring). I was quite annoyed, since 1. they had been to my house two weeks ago, and 2. this was so last minute and was going to push my day back. I immediately called the owner and asked him what was going on. I wouldn’t say I was rude or angry at all, just wondering when they would be here. He, on the other hand, was extremely frustrated with them and took it out on me. He repeatedly asked(in an impatient, angry tone) what I wanted him to do about it? Ummm, your job? It ended with him saying, «Do you just want me to cancel it?» I was so mad at his lack of professionalism, that I told him to cancel it. His response? He hung up one me. My suggestion, if you’re looking for a house cleaner, is to find a small, local company or individual who needs the money.
