I had nothing but an exceptional experience with Jerry’s Moving services. I booked them through U-Haul’s moving help page and was truly impressed with their Customer Service. Jerry called me promptly after receiving my request through the website and we discussed details about the move, including the time for movers to show up. They did have another move the morning that I needed them, but Jerry was more than honest in discussing the reality of what time they would be available. The night before the move, Jerry called me(although it was late and I did not answer) to confirm the details of the move. We connected early the next morning and Jerry assured me that his crew would keep me posted on the progress of the first move so that I wouldn’t be standing around waiting on them. They did exactly that! They called me twice to update me on their expected time(which was only about 30 minutes late). To «make up» for the time lost, Jerry even sent an additional crew member. I expected it to take about an hour or more to wrap ALL my furniture, move it from a second floor apartment and load it into the truck. These guys had it done in 30 minutes. They hustled and worked like a well oiled machine. They took care of my belongings and were beyond polite. All in all, their fees are great, Jerry is a reasonable person who accommodates his clients, and the crew who moved me provided exceptional service. When it comes time to move again, I will certainly be contacting them.

I used Jerry’ s moving service three times now, and as they say three times is a charm. Considering the quote I received for a house move was reasonable I chose his services for a third and final time which was not a charm. I stated this move would be from one county to another approximately 63 miles away. He is also familiar with the items I had to move and gave me a quote of $ 500. So I went with that quote, the day of moving. I had an 1860 two story house to move and two men showed up for the job, so I figured ok! Everyone should know that if there is a washing machine on the second floor you should use an appliance dolly… that did not happen, so my washing machine goes flying down the stairs slamming one of the movers into my wall which has now a hole from the impact. By the way the house I moved from was listed for sale by myself and I had a showing on that day. My washing machine is a Samsung front loader which is extremely heavy so you can imagine the damage it caused to the mover as well as my wall that I have to repair in order to sell my house. I advised the guys to call Jerry to explain the situation but he was more concerned about the truck rental that was scheduled for only 4 hours!!! The move started at 8:30am and ended at 10:00pm, why because it takes more than two skinny guys to move an 1860 square foot house. The movers were not able to fit all of my belongings so I had to make more trips on my own. Since the move took so long Jerry charges me $ 75 an hour for the overtime… REALLY! Expensive items were broken sheets were ripped(king size) and as I unpack I notice my Beats Headset is now missing. Jerry decides to negotiate my wall repair and take off $ 100 for the damage which at this point wAs a movers estimate, my carpet was dragged throughout the move so now I have to repair that to sell my home. At the end of the night In I felt sorry for the movers who were getting paid $ 75 for the day… not worth the job. I would quit and my total move cost me $ 750 I even tipped the guys $ 25 a piece even after ruining my front loader, my wall, my stairs and my carpet. I will NEVEREVERUSETHISCOMPANYAGAIN. IFYOUCHOOSETHISROUTELIKE I DIDWATCHYOURBELONGINGSANDTAKEINVENTORYBEFORETHEYLEAVE! I had a certified bank check and he prefers cash only. Take out insurance as well.
