I have been to the Cameron Village and North Hills location. LOVE the scarves they have. They have a lot of pico shirts/styles and a mix of work/social outing appropriate pieces. Prices are not too bad for a boutique, too. They sometimes run out of the popular sizes, but seem pretty accommodating about finding in other locations if you really wanted the piece. The girls that work in the store are good at styling and offering options for versatility/etc… I was really thankful for that.

This is my warning to you– they do not have a refund policy. Did I see this written on the wall? Posted near the cash register? Did the sales lady tell me this as I was checking out? Nope. I found out when I took something back that did not fit THREE days after buying it(still with tags attached) and they pointed out in small print on the receipt that I could only do exchanges. That is not the normal way to do things so I think they should at least tell you when checking out that there is no refund policy. Seeing it on something that people do not take the time to read that you get AFTER you make the purchase is not acceptable. Had they just told me that or had it posted I would have tried the vest on at the store. I honestly feel swindled.

Madison is a great boutique in Cameron Village. They sell really trendy clothes in a good price range. The sales staff isn’t the most helpful but they definitely aren’t rude. They have an excellent selection of jewelry and their stock changes pretty often. Follow them on Facebook/Twitter and they will update you with photos as their stock changes. They will also answer questions about prices, colors and hold items for you all via Twitter and Facebook. Their sizes can sell out quickly so I think following them is really helpful. The store is always clean and really does smell amazing. There is also a secret sales rack in the back near the fitting rooms.

The desire for new spring clothes hit me like a ton of bricks last week and after a successful week of work, I figured I deserved a little retail therapy. Although I live so close to Cameron Village, I hadn’t really explored the boutiques– guess I figured everything was out of my price range. I went into Madison fully expecting to barely be able to afford the sales rack and was amazed by the prices! Everything seemed to be in the 40 – 80 dollar range, although there were some more expensive options as well. The clothing caters to a younger demographic(20s/30s), with gorgeous options for both casual professional wear and nights out on the town. I also fell in love with their extensive jewelry collection, all reasonably priced at the $ 25 to $ 60 range. Even though the store was fairly busy, it was well staffed and the sales associates were nice. Not out-of-their-way nice, but definitely accommodating. My only issues were with the dressing room area– the individual stalls are hidden by curtains that leave little peep holes… I didn’t exactly plan on giving waiting shoppers a show, but I hope they enjoyed ;). The lighting was also a bit dim and I had trouble deciding if the hue of my dress would complement my skin tone in more natural light. Weird side note: it smelled realllly good in there. I ended up with an adorable dress for Valentine’s Day and the desire to go back, soon!
