Clean, nice free breakfast, staff was kind. Bed was springy, but good. Ceiling needed to be painted, lots of water(?) Spots. Would stay here again.

Staying here for a couple of days for business and need to host a couple of important Webinars while here, and the internet speeds here are unusable… hmmm!!!

Great hotel! Staff is wonderful breakfast was great and if you don’t have time you can take it to go. Room is updated modern and clean. Beds are amazingly comfortable– I didn’t want to get up! Pool is good size and everything is very easily accessible for guests. Loved staying here and would recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel.

I am so sorry we chose this hotel to stay at on our first visit to Raleigh. We’d called two weeks ahead to make our reservations and specifically requested adjoining rooms, and was told that wouldn’t be a problem. When we showed up the hotel was going through a major renovation, which would have been nice to be told in advance. Upon checking in a senior gentleman clerk told us no adjoining rooms were available. Then the next day I talked to the manager, told him what the clerk said, he didn’t understand why the clerk said that but did offer to move us, saying there were TEN sets of adjoining rooms in the hotel… that was a big plus on his part! He did try make it up further by giving us a $ 10 Starbucks gift card but my first impression about the place was very strong by then. I tried sleeping in the afternoon but couldn’t because of the workers hammering, pounding and doing work in the rooms around us and on the scaffolding which surrounded the building.(Again, it would have been nice to have been told about these renovations in advance!) There was a strange odor in the hallways which smelled slightly of sewage. I’ve stayed at many difference hotels for my work but as a type 2 diabetic on a restrictive diet there was nothing I could eat at the continental breakfast in the morning, it was all sugar and carbs. If you like cereal, waffles and yogurt, you’d like it I’m sure, but there were no cooked omelets which most places have. For $ 108 a night per room? This hotel lost my business.

We have stayed here several times over the past few years. This year things were different. The redeeming quality was the wonderful staff(Scott, Thelma, Consuela) and manager receptions at night. Both are gone. The lobby was redone but the remainder of the hotel is outdated. Pool is not as clean, staff not as friendly and no more manager receptions. Much better hotels in the area. Will pass from now on

One of the best Hampton Inns I have stayed in throughout the country. I choose the Hampton Inn chain for their consistency across properties. The staff here really sets this property apart. During the week they always have staff sponsored activities and good food as well as free bottled beer and soft drinks. I enjoy coming into a hotel with an active lobby and quiet rooms.

I give it a 5 star only for the meeting room and the service. I have never stayed the night at this place. About once every 2 months, 5 – 7 of my co-workers have a meeting in the boardroom. Michelle Blanchard who coordinates the room is always easy to work with, even when I change up the dates. Also, after 5:30 until 7, you have free bottle beer & wine and even cocktails. The gent behind the bar(I forget his name) is super nice and always willing to assist. They also have pizza delivered from PJ’s or some catered italian food on other nights. Enjoy!

Yeah, I have to admit this place was pretty nice. Four of us shared one room and it was $ 100 after the AAA discount and including taxes, etc. Lobby is very nice and well maintained; free bottled water, cookies, fruit when we arrived to check in. Room was of average size, nice and comfortable. Very comfy bed, although I can’t speak for the sofa bed my friends slept on. Haha. The outdoor pool looked really nice, but alas it is November and we did not use it. One of the major perks of this place is that you can walk to at least 3 or 4 restaurants without actually crossing the street. Only negative was that perhaps the bathroom could have used a little work. Overall, however, quite pleased.

one of the better Hamptons in Raleigh. Although, not one of the areas I like to stay in.

I stay almost exclusively at Hilton properties, usually Hilton Garden or Hampton Inns. This Hampton is better than many, though I suspect as seems typical for hotels I’ve stayed at in southern semi-coastal regions, the humidity takes it’s toll on carpets and such. However, the A/C was top notch and the room was well cooled when I arrived on a 94* day. Hotel staff promptly fixed the sticky room door housekeeping left ajar one day. They have a nice pool area, a large secondary entrance near the elevators with plenty of parking, and there seems to be a staff supported event every evening 6PM-8PM for the guests. Drinks, hot dogs, snacks, etc. No trouble with in-room WiFi or anything other than the sticky door. The property seems well attended to and I would definitely stay here again if needed. Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill is next door with a full bar, full menu, grill and Sushi bar if you’re locked in during a business trip.

We stayed here on a business trip for about a week. The staff was nice and the lobby was clean. The cool thing about this hotel was they had free breakfast, free wifi in the lobby, and free beer! The building is definitely older so a few things are not as well kept as they could be. The wifi is only avalible in the lobby. If you go to any other room you have to use an ethernet cable which is included in each room. We got about 1.5 — 2.1MBPS down the entire trip so the speed was fast enough to get work done. Not having wifi in the rooms may be a deal-breaker for some. At times there were bugs in the hotel, they definitely have an ant problem, the bathrooms weren’t as clean as they could be, and there were stains on the side of the bed. It wasn’t terrible staying there, but I’m sure there are better hotels in the area.
