I love Garnish! The salon is decorated in a beautifully modern way with bright lighting and comfortable seating. Their customer service and attitudes are hands down the best. The staff really cares about what you want to achieve with your hair and makes you feel comfortable during the entire process!
I’ve been following Niko for almost a year, and every appointment I’ve gotten the exact results I was hoping for. I have very long, fine hair, and she really knows how to cut and style to give it volume. She also takes time on my bangs and layers to flatter my face. I highly recommend her and this salon!

Don’t go to Niko if you are a black female. She does not know how to handle our type of texture. I went to the consultation and she claimed she could give me what I wanted. I wanted a blowout and a glaze. I go in for my appointment and she looks at my hair like it was some foreign object and said I couldn’t get the glaze. She should have told me that at the consultation instead of wasting my time. She should have been honest with me and recommend a different stylist that could handle my hair. My hair looked like a puff ball when I got up. I wasted 90 dollars for something that look like I did at home. She knew it looked bad because she didn’t take a picture after it was done. They take before and after pictures for all of their customers. I’m happy for the many customers who come out happy and feeling beautiful, but I wasn’t one of them.
I’m going to stay with my Dominican stylist in Raleigh who does amazing blowouts for my hair type.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER AND NEVER GOING BACK!

I can’t believe I hadn’t thought to review my salon before! I honestly feel terrible about this, because Garnish is a gorgeous, well maintained, and an amazingly staffed salon that deserves a lot of praise. They may be young, at having recently celebrated their first year anniversary of their grand opening, but they certainly know what they’re doing.
I followed Andrayah here about a year ago from the salon she was at previously. She is amazing, definitely my favorite hairdresser I have ever had. She’s great with color and cut alike, very creative, and super easy to talk and relate to; so of course I had to follow her when I heard she moved to another salon, this new place called Garnish.
Upon first walking in, I was incredibly pleased. It’s bright, modern, and over all attractive. Everything seems very up to date, the chairs are amazingly comfortable, and the décor is a perfect balance between chic and adorable. The rest of the ladies and gentlemen at Garnish are all perfect. Everyone is amazingly friendly and welcoming, and they all absolutely know their stuff when it comes to hair. Honestly, I couldn’t give them enough praise for all they did right here. Did I mention the location is perfect as well? Right on the corner of Lynn and Creedmoor. If you’re reading this while pondering where to take your tresses next, I would drive you here myself if I could.

I just moved to the area and decided to try out the hair salon down the street from me and I’m super glad I did! I made an appointment with Christine for partial highlights to change up my look for the Fall. I’m pretty clueless when it comes to hair so she took the time to sit down, go through pictures, and really find out what I was looking for. In the end, we decided against highlights and just went for a root touch up, glaze, and blowout. It looks great! It’s a little pricey ($ 45 for a blowout, $ 45 for the glaze, $ 65 for the roots), but she explained how this will save me money on future visits and gave me free samples and coupons. I’ll definitely be back and my boyfriend will be making an appointment for a cut soon too!
