Disappointed heard so many good things decided to try my wife and I ordered Greek salad garlic knots and a small pizza. Friendly service and we were only two dining inside this Tuesday night not busy at all saw a delivery go out. Garlic knots were good Greek salad was good although no one tops Greek salad at Trophy Brewing. But the Pizza was so so guess maybe I am just not a fan of NY style pizza for me bottom of crust was overdone, overdone thin crust with little taste, pizza does not compare to Trophy Brewing. I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant but pizza is not as good as papa johns it was disappointing. Decided to give them a second try and ordered delivery and I am glad I did, a great pizza and the garlic knots were awesome I will definitely order my next delivery pizza from here

DeMo’s is insanely delicious, thank you SO much for gracing downtown Raleigh with your amazing food and awesome team! If you have not tried DeMo’s yet… you are definitely missing out!

DeMo’s has in my opinion the best New York style pizza in Raleigh. I order it for our office pizza days, as well as late night when I’m out on Glenwood South. Their buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite /a must try!

I love their buffalo chicken pizza. You can’t go wrong here. I can’t wait to try their sandwiches too. I hear the chicken parm and philly is legit. Best pizza in town.

The ratings failed me this time, but I gave it a go. My husband and I decided to try a new slice on Glenwood and passed up Mellow Mushroom which was a mistake. We got slices and sodas. One pepperoni and one meat. The customer service isn’t bad at all, just relaxed and the inside is really cute and small. We were able to get street parking since it was midday. I ate about half of my slice and couldn’t finish it because it was just blah. The dough and cheese were lackluster while the pepperoni was more overwhelming. I was just really disappointed and it’s definitely not NY style, but it is a cute set up. I also understand that they have to up their prices to be on Glenwood, but kind of pricey especially for the taste of the pizza. I may drop by for a sandwich or something and give a new review, but right now; i’m just happy that I didn’t get diarrhea.

First off let me say the Owners are two of the realist most genuine people I have ever met! They truly appreciate your hard earned money spent in their establishment instead of choosing someone down the street. The atmosphere is trendy and perfectly clean. The staff is friendly. The cheesesteak is amazing and the pizza is so perfect I could eat a large pie by myself! The crust is perfect and tasty. The cheese is quality sauce is perfectly balanced and the toppings are the best I’ve had in all of NC! I live over 30 minutes away and I wouldn’t hesitate to make the trip 3 times a week. If your from up north or just. A serious pizza fan in general you gotta get down to DEMO’s! Great job guys I will be back.

No better place to end an evening downtown. The staff is friendly and competent at dealing with drunk people. The pizza is perfect. I ask for mine to be left in the oven a bit longer if possible, since it has the tendency to be a little floppy. The crust is nice and thin, perfectly crispy with a nice chewiness.

Demos is hands down my favorite pizza in Raleigh. The white pizza is amazing, I like to add chicken sometimes. Tonight I got a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza late night. I was told it would be an hour for delivery, but it only took 25 minutes. They also have really good philly cheesesteak!

I though the pizza here was rather good and definitely can pride itself on being one of the top NY style choices we have come across in the triangle area. The fries they serve here were also awesome and crunchy just they way we like them. The parking situation is rough here as even on a Sunday afternoon we needed to look about 2 blocks away before we found a spot. Staff was great and the price is definitely right, I cant wait to come back and try their sandwiches/calzones next time.

Omg! They have the best pizza in raleigh. It was my first time there and they made me feel like family. Love it how everybody there work together like a family and make sure customers get what they pay for. Love you guys. And I may be back for more next week.

Good pizza, homemade marinara is delicious, good service, and good music. Atmosphere is really nice. Food is so yummy! Left my bag inside when we left and the cashier/waitress ran out to the car in the cold rain to bring it to me before we left. I’m so surprised and appreciative of this gesture. Great food and great people!

Let me first say this is a 4 star only because I went once. I consider it 5 worthy, I just need to test it out some more. I’m craving this pizza again and I am happy I randomly came across it. one hungry, chilly, Saturday evening. It’s simplicity is great. The pizza was great NY Style with a lot of options, for a great price by the slice or by the pie. I also got myself some hot wings –which were great and had their own flare/taste to them rather than run of the mill or soggy stuff. The venue itself was nice enough especially on that particular evening and it wasn’t crowded or insane. The staff was genuinely friendly and looked to be enjoying themselves which goes a long way into making good food I think. The best part about this all are the hours — to have an accessible great place with hours that cater to late night cravings or the poor stumbling masses is absolutely phenomenal in a city that is creating it’s own unique and fun culture(which is something this place adds to). This is definitely a place I’ll consider as my go to /fall back pizza place, all just down the street from the homestead.

Out having dinner with the family so we decided on having pizza. Tried this place for the first time and Oh boy this place right here did not disappointment and you can take it from somebody all da way from Brooklyn, NY that knows good pizza. My son had to Philly cheesesteak, my wife had the buffalo wings and I was happy getting a large pie with extra cheese and pepperoni. I would have posted more pictures but they ate the food too fast and I couldn’t keep up with them. From the head nods I could tell that DeMo’s hit the spot. We will definitely be back. They even have Boars Head brisket pastrami which I can see myself buying by the ton. I never would have thought to find a little piece of Bklyn right here in Raleigh.

We’ve ordered pizza from DeMo’s at least three times now, and have never been disappointed. Granted, we’ve only ever tried one pizza– the stuffed pepperoni pizza– because it’s sooo good, and we can’t help but want it every time! Generous servings of pepperoni and cheese. Their hot wings are really memorable too. Unlike your typical soggy, orange buffalo wings, these wings are nice and dark brown, lightly coated with hot sauce and red pepper flakes. We’re still trying to figure out how they make their wings because they are really crispy and flavourful all the way through! Finally, we’ve also had a chance to taste their sandwiches, which are filled very generously and are extremely delicious. We noticed that they use premium Boar’s Head deli cuts for their sandwiches, which explains their quality. I suppose we’ll eventually get around to trying their other pizzas… although I suspect we aren’t going to get tired of the stuffed pepperoni pizza anytime soon!

If I’m on Glenwood past 2am, there’s about a 95% chance that I’m going to get a slice at DeMo’s. They’re serving up NY-style greasy slices of cheese, pepperoni, and a specialty pie till the early morning on the weekends. And even though they’re dealing with mainly inebriated people, somehow the dudes at the counter are always in a good mood. They actually seem to be having fun, especially Clay(the mohawk guy). I wish we had something like DeMo’s near Fayetteville Street because zpizza closes early and the late night hot dogs aren’t cutting it. Raleigh is still a small city, but pizza by-the-slice is an essential anytime-option. Thank you DeMo’s.

We just ordered delivery from here for the first time, and all I can say is wow! The service is amazing(we were slightly outside of their delivery area, but they offered to come anyway with a $ 30 min order). Delivery was quick, and the driver was very friendly! Now to the food! The Hot Wings are some of the best I’ve ever had! They are crispy and juicy, and the flavor goes all the way through the meat. The BBQ Wings were good, but they can’t touch the Hot Wings. We also ordered a Pepperoni Stuffed Pizza, and it is my new favorite! I usually go for thin NY Style, so when someone suggested stuffed pizza, I assumed it would be too much dough for me. But wow, was I wrong! The top layer was paper thin and was dusted with garlic and parmesan, and the whole thing was stuffed full of mozzarella and pepperoni. The pizza was simply amazing! The only letdown were the Garlic Knots. To me, good Garlic Knots are tight, dense little knots of dough swimming in garlic butter. These were more like garlic yeast rolls. Very dry, fluffy and bready, and not very garlicky… nothing at all like a true NY Style Garlic Knot. All in all, this may be our new favorite pizza spot! Can’t wait to try out everything they have to offer!

I came here late Saturday night for a slice and the pizza was delicious. Going to the restaurant is definitely a better experience than delivery!

When you talk about pizza, not everyone talks about a NJ slice. To me, it’s like a NY slice but a slightly thicker rolled up crust. And DeMo’s does a good one! Ordered up a couple of pies for a party and they were ready right on time. One neapolitan, one meat pizza and both were huge and tasty. The crust holds up well to heavier toppings. And I liked how fresh basil was used on both pies, a nice touch. DeMo’s also does sandwiches and more but I have yet to try em. So if you’re on Glenwood looking for a tasty slice($ 2.50), pop into DeMo’s! Or check out their take-out window, they put out some good food…

Me and a friend stumbled into DeMo’s late night(ish), on a Saturday. They weren’t too crowded, so was able to place my order(2 pepperoni slices), and receive the slices in under 10 mins. Pretty quick service! Pizza was good, maybe not the best in the area, but definitely did the trick to fill me up and help me sober up a bit at the same time. Great location. Used to be Bada Bing.

As Steve A. says, «you must judge a pizza joint on how they prepare the simplest of pizzas». Thus, we always order a plain cheese pizza when trying out a new pizza place and I’ve got to say, DeMo’s does it right! Our first visit was the test visit and a large cheese pizza was ordered. About ten minutes later we receive said pizza: thin crust cooked to perfection(tiny bit crunchy but mostly chewy), layered with a savory sauce and layers of parmesan cheese topped with mozzarella and sprinkled with a touch of oregano. Altogether just a great tasting pizza, friendly staff and a good late night experience. An interesting fact, DeMo’s also sells deli meats and cheeses by the pounds along with a variety of sandwiches, calzones and salads.
