Burger King

The employees at the drive-​thru window are generally pleasant during the day (I work nearby). I’ve never had an incorrect order and the drive-​thru is always quick. But my favorite menu item — the chicken strips that were REAL CHICKEN — disappeared in early 2015, and other things I have occasionally tried are sub-​par. I have never liked BK’s regular chicken sandwich — yuck! the horrors of «flaked and formed» chicken! There are always those surprise tough and gritty patches when you’re eating — well, you get the drift. So today I tried a «Tendercrisp» chicken sandwich, supposedly all white meat — but again, it was not a real chicken breast. HELLO, BURGER KING! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM WITH ONLY SERVING FLAKED AND FORMED CHICKEN??? This is okay for a NUGGET, something I would never, EVER order, but on an expensive chicken sandwich, it is not acceptable. So anyway, it isn’t just this Burger King — it’s all of them, I guess. They were top-​of-​the-​line 30 years ago, but all they serve is the cheap of the cheap food.

I went with some friends late one night as we were pretty hungry. After getting our orders taken from an employee who had a Bluetooth speaker on his shirt and was in middle of a phone conversation, I finally got my order about 20 minutes later. The food was pretty good, somewhat cold though. I would not recommend this location.

I’ve been a customer here for a while and was never disappointed until tonight. They had THREE managers on duty tonight and one of them filled in my order. They filled it Wrong with a 10 piece missing. I called in to let them know it took 30 Mins for one of the THREE managers to pick up the phone.

What can I say, it’s the BK and we were in need of some immediate sustenance and the thought of a Whopper with Cheese and a Vanilla-​Cherry Coke spoke to me. This BK is remodeled and is pretty nice on the inside. Oh and the Vanilla-​Cherry Coke is pretty epic.
