A. C Moore is new to me. I always shopped Michael’s. That might change now. A.C. Moore has a large selection of crafts and goods that rival any other hobby store. I needed gift bags, stencils and ribbons. Found it all and found it easily. I also picked up some cute gift items that would be great in a Christmas stocking or as a smaller gift to pair with a bigger gift.
Multiple times I asked staff for assistance and they were super friendly and made sure I found what I was looking for. They didn’t avert their eyes and run for cover like you see in other stores.
I thought this place was great and I will be back for all of my crafting needs.

I had not been to this locale in a few years but went this past weekend to get some items needed for a project/​gift I was working on. I had a list of what I needed and since I found a coupon in the N&O, I decided to use them rather than Michael’s.
The selection was ok, they didn’t have everything I needed so I ended up going over the Michael’s to get the job done but the experience was decent. The staff seemed like they would rather be just about anywhere else but I get it. The customers were pretty rude too. I heard a lady complaining about a flower arrangement that was on display. I also saw another lady walk by an arrangement, knock it on the floor, looked at it and kept walking. Yeah, I guess I get why the staff hates working there.

This is the mecca for hobbyists! In this store are everything one would need for any craft project. Floral arrangements, art supplies, seasonal crafts, yarns and knitting supplies, tee shirts decorations, kids crafts, and a framing area are all a part of the store.
I have over the years had several custom framing projects done here, and have been satisfied with the results. There is often an offer for a significant discount on custom framing, so checking the advertising for these discount is advisable.
This trip was to search for Christmas gift choices. Found several small reasonably priced items. At the register was a coupon for 30% off the regular priced merchandise purchased that day. with my receipt another coupon for 15% off a purchased was printed.
The store has merchandise «everywhere» so maneuvering the aisles during the busier times can be a little challenging. The staff seems to be handling the customer rush well.

Great framing shop uses technology to show you how it will looked framed. that is really helpful to me as once a year I bring in something from a vacation that I want framed. They really take their time with you to get it right here! And I have never been sold anything I didn’t want to buy. it looks fabulous afterward, and the staff is really helpful in all areas of the store.
A definite plus is also becoming a member and getting reward dollars depending on how much you spend.
One thing they can improve upon: checking out! Sometimes it take WAY too long!

Basically allot of crap waiting to be made into bigger pieces of crap.
Usually full of women who love cats.
