The food is amazing but the waitress is not interested in getting orders and working. She sat behind her phone when ppl needed an order and she had to be called several times to take our order. Like I said the food is the best I have ever eaten but the waitress sucked.

Friendly service and super cheap prices, had carne asada and carnitas tacos and they were very good. The salsa is the best I’ve ever had, it has a great flavor and is spicy. I’ll miss this gem when I leave Fort Knox!!!

They have the best tacos you will found outside of East LA. Seriously. I could go here, get some tripa, al pastor, carne asada, a jarritos and a paleta and it was like being back home. We didn’t find this place until 30 days before we moved out of the area… there were tears. Every time we visit Louisville, we make it a point to make the 40 minute drive down to My Rosita because it’s THAT good. Also, this location is better than the one down in E-town, which is good, but not amazing.

Forget about the bad reviews I left fort Knox and we now miss this place, the food reminds me of home since I’m from mex, this is not your white pepl place, if you like all the tourist ambient place like los nopales or el tapatio, don’t come here and say is not authentic, it’s the most authentic you will ever get around fort knox, the delicious food makes up for anything, if you say it’s not authentic oh well, you really don’t know about Mexican food

Something Old. Something New. Something Borrowed. Something Blue. I have passed by this place a million times not even knowing that it existed, but I decided to try Something New today after reading the reviews from fellow Unilocalers. Sure, I realized that there wasn’t many reviews for this place, but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt earlier today and sadly enough, I wasn’t impressed. I walk in, during the lunch hour. Of course, there are other military personnel in the restaurant part of the establishment, one or two people in the grocery part of the store, and yours truly standing at the counter trying to figure out what I walked into. I ask for a menu from the young lady behind the counter. I didn’t smell food cooking, I didn’t hear laughter of any sort, just a loud television playing a show called, «Hoy» which I gathered from my long wait was a popular Mexican talk-show similar to «The Today Show» or «Good Morning America» possibly. At any rate, I proceed to order Something Old, yet familiar to my palate – the Carne Asada Burrito. The young lady says, «Oh no, no we don’t have.» I go into immediate panic mode! I’m thinking, «Carne Asada is my Something Borrowed – it’s the only thing I’ve read about in previous reviews» so I then opt for the Chicken Burrito and a small order of Horchata(a drink made from rice, milk, and cinnamon)! I placed that order at approximately 1157am. I walk around the establishment to get familiar with the place. They literally sale everything under the sun. I try to pay no attention to the clothing(I’m assuming that was for sale) on the walls, the soaps, shampoos, can goods, candy, chips… I mean you name – they have it! You can go grocery shopping, buy a shirt or two, and eat all at the same time. After my walk-thru, I decide to sit down at a table while other customers come in and begin to seat themselves. Not only do they seat themselves, but they also get up to get their own menus and drinks. Needless to say, almost 5 out of 9 people ask about the infamous«Carne Asada» and are turned down. My food comes out at 1227pm. I pay for and check my food. I have no utensils or napkins, and my Horchata is dripping down the cup. I ask the young lady where are the utensils, but then I just tell her never mind because of the time. By the time I got home and ate – there was my Something Blue. The taste of the food wasn’t bad, but it absolutely was not the best Mexican in this area as so many others have raved about. I value my time so I don’t know if I’ll return. I just know that the burrito was really huge, the ingredients was fresh, but overall I just wasn’t impressed. In all fairness, I may return to try the Carne Asada & if I do – I’ll be sure to update this review, but as of right now, I think I’ll call this wedding off!

Not bad for a mexican mom and pop spot in Kentucky. Pretty close to what you would find at our roach coaches in CA, but not as good. Nothing beats the mexican street vendors back home. Other than that, show up and prepare to wait for your food a good minute while drinking about 3 jaliscos

My Rosita is a fantastic little Mexican restaurant camouflaged as a grocery store. You almost have to stumble onto it, which luckily, a friend of mine did. What began as a few booths in the back has since taken over the grocery. Though their accidental success has impacted occasionally service during the lunch rush, the food has *never* suffered. The menu items, while small in numbers, are prepared flawlessly. My Rosita cooks stick to what they know – and it shows. Try anything with Carne Asada or Pastor in it, to start, then work your way through the menu. The large burrito is *massive*. You may want to start with the small size. I’ve tried the Carne Asada burrito(twice) and the Chorizo burrito. There are many other things on the menu, but this is as far as I’ve gotten. They’ve got a great homemade hot sauce and guacamole too. Looking forward to trying their tamales. If they’re good, I’ll have to pick up a dozen($ 13). For lunch, you might spend $ 8. The staff is so friendly. A friend and I happened to stop by while one of the waitresses was having her baby shower – we were each given a piece of cake!(To the 1-star reviewer – it’s a little café inside Mexican grocery store, not a restaurant. These aren’t professional wait-staff.) In closing, My Rosita has permanently redefined Mexican cuisine for me. Mexican-American cuisine will never again be good enough. There are at least a dozen other Mexican restaurants within a 25 mile radius and this little latino grocery store’s food beats them all. My Rosita is in a category by itself for me, and may continue to be unless I visit Mexico.

I saw Jesus! And for you thumpers, I mean«Hey-Zeus!» This place is a hole in the wall — while service is friendly, don’t have higher expectations than the surroundings would merit.(Professsional service re: another reivewer? Um. Mhahahahahahahahhaahah! You’re an idiot. This place is a complete gem. If you can’t see it — that’s great. Less competition for seating, because I’m gonna be there at least three times a week). This is a a «Pick your pop out of the cooler and drink from the bottle,» kinda place. But, seriously, who the hell cares? Because that’s not what this place is about. That’s the food. And, oh, my, *Zeus*! While there are plenty of «Mexerican» joints in Radcliff(and even more in Elizabethtown), this place is closer to a Cali Taqueria than anything else available in the area. The carnitas is unbelievable. The carne asada is perfect. Absolutely perfectly cooked and seasoned protein on a variety of platforms. A variety of delivery mechanisms(tacos, tostadas, etc.). Regardless, cheese sauce plus the green salsa is the perfect bite. Seriously. The. Perfect. Bite. And the burrito was totally nommy. If you’re used to the notion of taquerias, you should be on board with the«restaurant» situation, here. If you’re not: don’t come. I don’t want to have to fight for a seat or punch you in the throat when you act like a precious, precious snowflake in a tasty taqueria world…

We went to eat here for lunch. Apparently is a popular Mexican food spot in town, but I don’t see why. The waitress was friendly but unprofessional(she was on her cell when she came to the table the first time lol). I ordered the tamale and a carne asada tostada. The tamale was good but not fresh, it was a little hard and the meat too crispy. The carne asada had too much fatty meat so it did not taste good. The only good thing was the price, it was really cheap. I don’t know if I would go back again.

Went there for lunch, it is a grocery store with a small restaurant inside, service was great, food was phenomenal and real authentic Mexican food. I plan on going back again that’s for sure!

Very authentic. We had a taco, a tamale, a tostada, and a sope. All tasted like real Mexican food, not at all like the sauce-soaked TexMex fare that is everywhere else.

This is not your white table cloth and fine china type of restaurant, as of matter of fact it was a Latino grocery store that decided to add a few table to serve lunch. My Rosita is 2⁄3 Mexican Grocery, 1⁄3 café. Their menu is very small, they offer a handful of delicious types of cuisine and each is fantastic. WOW! If you are accustomed to the«north of the border» American-Mexican cuisine then visit My Rosita and it will change your view on Mexican cuisine. Forget the chips and salsa, they do not serve them… walk in get your own drink out of the refrigerator unit and sit down, is that Mom and Pop for enough for you? You will be in for a great ride the food is very fresh. Their home-made hot sauce and guacamole is some of the tastiest of each that I’ve ever eaten. Their Carne Asada burritos and Torta de Pastor are out of this world, delicious, hot, and so flavorful. Try the red and green sauces to change the flavor profiles. Portions are very generous! The entire menu is very reasonably priced. I rarely pay more than $ 8 for lunch, usually less than $ 7. Your tacos are served with lime wedges and plenty of cilantro. The lunch crowd should be a good indication for you.
