Found this place off of Unilocal reviews while driving around looking for something to eat other than Army food. Walk through the front door 5 feet to the hostess, and they seat me 3 feet to the left, not exactly the greatest of locations and zero privacy. Waiter was there immediately but then I order a Michelada and he runs off only to come back and tell me they’re out of Clamato. Strike 2. I would note that they did send a runner to the store to buy some, this level of customer service — is UNHEARD of In the mean while he brought a water. Chips and Salsa were also brought promptly. The salsa was blended and I prefer chunky, but this is just personal preference. I ordered the shrimp ceviche. I like how they have the amount of prep time my meal would take right on the menu. In conclusion, I can NOT recommend this place for the shrimp ceviche or michelada. The reason why it takes 15mins for your ceviche, is because the prep it on the spot and this is a no-go. Ceviche is suppose to be marinated at least 24hours in lime juice. I know this cause I make my own at home. The michelada, was off, can’t tell what was missing but I left half of it there. Perhaps the other food might be better, but I don’t know that I would come back to this place.

Went here for the first time today, after being told it was the closest to authentic we are going to find in KY. Really conflicted. Steak fajitas were good, but flour tortillas weren’t. They are cold and even Mission tortillas are better. Chips and salsa were pretty good too. Our biggest complaint by far was the service. Our server obviously did not want to be there. Didn’t even smile once. It was so bad that my MIL said«maybe we should leave»…it was THAT uncomfortable. I will never understand why people who hate people work in a customer service situation. Not sure we will be back… unless it’s for takeout.

This is a 3 star joint. Descent food and good house salsa. Not sure if the chips are house made, or not. And if you can’t tell, they usually aren’t. Anyway, the chimichangas were pretty descent. Nothing to brag about, but not horrible. It seems no matter which Mexican restaurant you go to, the steak is always tough. Not sure what cut of meat they use, but it’s time to use something different, or different cooking technique. Idk. We had a party of 6, and ran out of salsa, even though they brought two bowls out. I asked for more, but it never came. I know he understood what I said, and I wasn’t going to ask twice. Staff wasn’t overly friendly, and it just seemed like they were going through the motions. When in the area, I will not be back.

Really great food, service wasn’t on point. Our waiter seemed aggregated by our presence and wasn’t that attentive. Drinks are priced well and the set up is beautiful! Rest of the staff was in a good mood, polite and fun. Our waiter may been having a bad night, so I would give it another chance! Definitely worth a visit in my opinion!

Excellent reviews for an excellent restaurant. The was entrée was plentifully delicious! I was visiting from out of town and had the vegetable tostados. They were so good, I would enjoy having them again.

By far, my most favorite restaurant in Radcliff! This place is most definitely my go-to when going out to eat. The friendly service and excellent food are a few of the many reasons my family continues to frequent this local spot. I love their chimichangas! Being a military family, we’re always checking out new places to eat when at a new duty station. The staff at El Camino’s know how to make you feel special. They always remember our family when we visit. It’s nice to feel recognized and welcome.

Beautiful restaurant, with a variety of options, from traditional and authentic favorites, to more mainstream tex-mexish options. Food was good but could’ve been better if not for the service. They need to be reminded about customer service and what it does for their tips!

This is the ONLY mexican restaurant in radcliff that I could easily find. The adress has changed though. It is now 179 E. Lincoln Trail Blvd. Radcliff. KY. 40160. Its a great place to eat at. Its a sit down place but you can also order to go. A must if you are visiting Radcliff and are craving Mexican style food and a margarita. They offer military discount.

Came here on a Monday for the all you can eat taco special. Ordered 7 tacos between the two of us. After about 20 minutes we asked where our tacos were because we were about to leave and go somewhere else. The waiter said there was a new food delivery person and he must have gave our food to someone else. He said to give him 1 minute and he’d bring us our food. After another 7 minutes we got up and left. We won’t be back.

This is a decent Mexican restaurant. The service is good and the complimentary chips and salsa are really good. They also have a very extensive menu. The food is good depending on what you get. They have really good tacos, chili rellenos, and fajitas, but we definitely prefer the cheese enchiladas at Miguels. The last time we went we ordered a platter to share and it was supposed to come with 3 separate things, in addition to rice and beans. Two of them(burrito and enchilada?) looked exactly the same. We spent so much time looking at the extensive menu we couldn’t recall exactly what we ordered, but we both remember ordering a platter with 3 different things. We spent most of the meal trying to figure out what the difference was between these two. There was none. So that was a disappointment. The food was really good, so it was fine, but when I order two different items there should be some noticeable difference. Overall it’s a good Mexican restaurant for Kentucky standards.

The atmosphere is nice an live. Came here for the second time on a Wednesday and they had live music. It wasn’t bad. Lots of people. I was greeted right away. The chips and salsa are good. The combination fajitas are the bomb. Great flavor and lots of meat. The server was very attentive and respectful. The inside of the restaurant is well decorated and great prices for all the food you get and fast.

The restaurant is bright and colorful with a very comfortable feeling. I was seated immediately and my drink order was taken and delivered very quick. Ok. First off in reading reviews on mexican restaurants/food is the word«authentic». The food here is authentic, with a slight american twist. And when I say«slight», barely comes to mind. I had the carne asada. Good cut of beef, cooked tender with all the trimmings. The plate was massive and filled with food. The prices are very good and very cheap. I definitely recommend this establishment.

¡Dale, dale, dale No pierdas el tino! Porque si lo pierdes ¡Pierdes el camino! That silly little song, and the fact that my coworkers visit this restaurant on Wednesday nights for margaritas, are how I know about this place. And I’ve been wanting to come here for months, so we finally made it happen. The first noticeable thing about the restaurant is how bright and colorful the chairs and everything are. It made me feel like a kid again. They brought chips and salsa to the table fairly quickly, and they were also able to come out with my order of chimichangas in very little time. The chimichangas mexicanas that I ordered consisted of two chicken and two beef chimichangas, which are basically deep-fried burritos. In the middle of the dish were some lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. The whole thing was all right, but I was particularly satisfied that it was only $ 9.99 on the menu. I was here kind of in a hurry, so I didn’t get to stay long enough to enjoy more of it. I kind of would have liked to try more dishes and maybe some of their drinks, but I imagine other items on their menu will be pretty similar in quality. The restaurant is a little farther away from Fort Knox than Miguel’s, but it’s worth the trip if you’re looking for another authentic Mexican experience in town.

I have been here a few times and while service was never superior, the food was always quite delicious. I’ve been spoiled by my in-laws because they make authentic Mexican food so I’m usually disappointed with local so-called Mexican restaurants. I always get my favorite, the Carne Asada. It has always come out pre-sliced with a side of tasty guacamole, rice and beans, and flour tortilla. I was very disappointed this past week when I ordered this dish and the meat came out as two thinly grilled pieces. It seemed like they didn’t take the time to slice the meat properly and the guacamole came out as a salad. I was not happy with the presentation of the food nor the service from the waiter. He was very impatient and didn’t even look at me when it was my turn to order. He did not return to to table to check on us after dropping off our food; we had to wave another waiter down to refill our drinks. Well, I will not be returning any time soon.

Visiting Radcliff for some family time and we stopped in for a good meal at Camino’s. The drinks were strong and the food was delicious. It was definitely a great recommendation by my relatives. They have a separate bar as well. Décor is nice, with a «stoney» look and great artwork and furniture. The staff was great and polite with fast service. The food was great, the portions are large and typical mexican fare, but they have a ton of options and all sounded good. Everyone loved their meals, and we had a large group. Overall a great mexican restaurant surrounded by sub-par fast food options. Definitely go here if you are looking for good, medium-priced mexican in the area. I was devastated when the directions from Unilocal left me stranded. I started driving around to find something else and actually found it. I was not disappointed; the food was great: I had the«Special Dinner» which was a sampling of Chile Rellenos, taco, enchilada, and tamales with rice and refried beans. It was a ton of food, and what I took home was another full meal. The salsa and chips that come for free as an appetizer were delicious too; I could taste fresh herbs and tomato-amazing. Servers were all male and just a tad bit flirty with me.

El Camino is a hidden gem! If you are looking for real Mexican food look no further! We were a group of 3 visiting Fort Knox for a couple days and looking for a place to eat, someone recommended El Camino. Being Mexican I’m always skeptical of «authentic» Mexican food. Plus not many people were in the restaurant and Unilocalers had given them 3 stars. Lucky for us, we decided to try it. Even after only one visit I would Highly recommended El Camino if you want good Mexican food. We all enjoyed our meals, real-good portions(enough for each of us to have to-go plates), fast service, decent prices and nice atmosphere. I have no doubt if I lived here, I would be a regular at El Camino.
