It was nice… small town spot. But, the advertized Big Dixie was small on flavor. A little salt/pepper a little garlic on the burger could go a long way.

Food was delicious! Was pressed for time, so I rushed and ate. I give it 4 stars because they opened at 7 and not 6am!

In KY on business saw this little cute place on the main strip military town so its oddly placed. I visited the place twice. It is said they are known for their burgers and breakfast menu which you can have any time of the day. The first time I went I had the fish sandwich and fried okra. The food was exquisite. I was extremely satisfied and impressed. I felt everything else must be good. I don’t eat pork or beef so won’t be able to tell you about the infamous burgers. The second time I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fried okra it was ok, but the bottom of my bread did not exist. It was either too thin or just soaked up on my chicken so I had to ask for a new bread bun to make a sandwich. But bottom line my food was still very good. I’m hoping to make it a third time to put them to a test, but definitely a great place for a good bite to eat, both times I went during lunch hours.

This place was disappointing even though I wanted to like it since it is a non-chain fast food place. The food was mediocre and the interior left a lot to be desired. The ceilings are painted black, their one attempt at color was painting one wall Pepto-Bismol pink(apologies to Pepto-Bismol) and there was a general feeling of grime. Our waitress didn’t make eye contact or smile at all. I used to work in food service in my younger years, so I could understand her attitude a little better if there was a a big rush of people, but she seemed to spend most of her time talking with the other people who worked there. We will not be back.

Meh. It’s a greasy spoon type joint. Burger was average, tall but didn’t fit the bun. Fries cost extra. Brownie was dry and the frosting fell off of it. I think the breakfast would probably be a better play here even though I haven’t had it.

At Christi’s for their Open face hot roast beef sandwich with brown gravy mashed taters and onion rings. Great service lively atmosphere and tasty food.

Decent place to get lunch. Cheap, quick, and great service. The always let me get a to-go dr. pepper which is the main reason i come here.

This place is basically a greasy spoon. Not much of anything special. If you are hungry, you can find a menu packed with fried foods that taste like they came frozen from the Sysco truck. Absolutely not fine dining, but you will leave full, and probably needing some tums.

The place has friendly staff. The food is good and the plates have a good amount of whatever you order. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is clean and bright. I recommend this place for anyone on business in Radcliff/Ft Knox area.

First visit this weekend and I was very pleased. It’s a small place but cute and seemed clean. My family of five all ordered burgers and were very pleased. They are very generous with the fries and the burgers are huge. Our service was great as well. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great family oriented place with good homemade food, can’t beat that!

Just a little something different. It was nice to have breakfast in the evening. My waitress was charming and friendly. I had the Western Omelette which was done just right. Home fries seemed to be done in oldish oil. I was a bit disappointed that an «old style» diner didn’t have lemonade but the iced tea was good. The dining area was ok but could use a little attention to general cleanliness. Addition of a few booths would be s nice addition for seating variety and a little music would enhance the«café» experience. Not the best I’ve had but in an area with limited selections I’ll probably give it another shot. Tip: They do have free WiFi although I’m not a big fan of non-password protected networks.

We come here every time we come to visit. The food is always fresh and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend there burgers which are very good and cook perfectly. They have a 3 lb burger challenge which I wouldn’t even attempt to try… but maybe you can concur it.

If I want to fight a tough competitor I am going to open a place near Christi’s. We left Fort Knox last Thursday and drove west looking for anything that was not Burger Doodle for lunch. 31W has a lot of those but nothing like Christis for a lot of miles. I got a burger and onion rings, my wife got the BLT. Good service, good food and decent price. This place is hard to beat but I am thinking if we give them some competition, they can get even better! I am not sure how but there is always room for improvement.

Old American throw back to the days of yesteryear with the addition of massive hamburgers. Service is usually pretty quick and friendly and the food is good enough to keep me coming back. The only bump is that the appetizers are a bit pricey with how much you get. Food: This place has burgers that really shine. The Big Dixie is the standard bearer and it is massive and delicious. It can come as fancy or simple as you want. They also have different burgers based on the Big Dixie like a farm yard burger and the bacon ranch burger. The appetizers are rely good too. They have fried everything. Fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, fried cauliflower, just to name a few. Bottom line: a nice little hole in the wall just outside of Ft Knox that deserves a chance just once. Once is all it needs.

Came for breakfast on a weekday morning and got great service and food. My veggie omelette was a generous size, with American fries that were not greasy, and four halves of toast. The rest in my family enjoyed French toast and bacon. Pleasant, clean atmosphere and colorful décor. I intend to return for a burger for lunch or dinner sometime.

Some of the best local food available. I’ve eaten there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the taste is superb. I totally agree, though, that they have to figure out the lunch push. I was excited about this place after eating there a couple times. Took my small office there for lunch(six people) and it took us a half hour just to get our food. Another time – for dinner – I had another long wait. Other than that, I love that place.

30 minutes, still holding a menu waiting to place an order. Want them to succeed, this has fail written all over it. Full dining room half the people look angry and waiting… heading to Mc’Donalds.
