I got a thorough, relaxing facial here, with no problem in understanding(although I do not speak Mandarin) and no problem keeping to the facial that I’d asked for.

I was not favorably impressed by the place. While I waited for a friend for 30 minutes, at least a half a dozen men came into the shop and requested a «Special» message with Masseuse Jenny. The men were willing to pay 100.00 for a half hour of massage. I suspect that the place is a cover for prostitution. I do not want to get a message from someone who just minutes before was engaged in an anonymous sex act or mastubation with a stranger. Sorry…its just not my thing.

Very Chinese in how it’s run. Yes, I have lived in China. Pay upfront, try to upsell, did not expect tip, handed you change with two hands. The rooms were clean and May was pleasant, though the English was tough(mostly did Mandarin, which is hard for a conversation about anatomy). I had a sports injury so she seemed to hone in on what hurt. They sold me the massage oil when it was clear I liked it. I am always suspicious when a salon tries to sell you something claiming you can only get it in China… and in this salon. But I wanted it so I just paid anyways. Surprisingly nice place. I’d give it another star if I wasn’t looking for some advice on joint upkeep and a little insight into how Chinese healing really works, at least in theory.

Don’t do go for a facial They told me that their facial would be 60 for acne prone skin. After it was all said and done it cost me 80 bucks plus 20 buck for a face cleanser. They did get out all of my blackheads an acne but i looked like had be in the ring with a pro boxer for 3 days. They offer eye lash curing which turned out well, I might go back for that.
