Presentation: the façade is deceiving… This «little place» is HUGE inside!
Representation: Staff are super… and very knowledgable. A very comfortable and inviting environment.
Selection: More than you’d expect… Current best sellers, classics, references, how-​tos, art and table-​top editions, travel and leisure, some recorded music and audio books, local information, and an awesome kids selection. A decent selection of gifts for readers. Even has reading areas.
Price: Very reasonable

Epilog books has undergone many changes through the years I have lived in Quincy.
The current owners, Tom and Chris, have a love of books themselves (which is essential for a good bookstore). They have a rather small selection, due to so much shelf space being given to local artisans (another neat thing about the store); BUT they are able and quite willing to order numerous versions of just about any book or collections of books you might be interested in reading, collecting, etc. The atmosphere of this store is very comfortable. You can easily spend a lot of time there, looking at books and talking with the employees behind the counter. More seating areas might be a suggestion, but I would absolutely recommend this place for any book lover!

Great place to pick up local hiking guides for the area. (required reading if you are visiting.) It’s quite large and is very community oriented with book signings, reading group meetings, etc. It’s locally owned and a great place to stop for locally produced books and music.
