I’m am currently enjoying the BEST buffalo chicken salad I’ve ever had. I’m so sad I’m going to finish this but I can’t stop eating it I also frequently come here for the steak burrito. I’ve been to many of the restaurants in this area but Craigs Café is my favorite hands down!!!

I’m a Brooklyn born, NYC native, new to the area, and found this gem on Unilocal.Craigs feels like home, food is excellent quality, presented with care, and the friendliest staff; you could ask for no better on both counts. I had Craigs salads for lunch more than a few times, every time was great. Salads were really fresh and creative in their execution. Craig is super friendly as is the rest of the staff; if I had got the Quincy job, I would eat here many times a week.

I’ve just wrapped up my second dining experience here at Craig’s Café, and had another delightful visit. The service is always impeccable, and the boys Dave, PJ and Danny always have me leaving with a smile! I love the Crab Cake Benedict here, licking the plate clean every time! 5 stars doesn’t cover it, this place blows my socks off.

Came here based on the reviews. Very disappointed. Food was ok. What bothered me most was the cleanliness. The plate that my food came on was poorly cleaned with stains and a small piece of hair. The bathroom is in the back so you can see how messy things were in the kitchen, etc. Won’t be coming back.

Based on 4.5 star rating I was ready to be wow’d. Unfortunately I wasn’t. Customer service was great, service was fast and very friendly. The coffee station was awesome, with several different types of self service coffee although we were not told it was self service and waited to hear from the waitstaff. Here was not so expected, the atmosphere was strange, the restaurant looks like there was some construction going on and the«glassware/dinnerware» were a little dirty with water marks. The raspberry and chocolate chip pancakes were mostly plain pancakes with a few chips and a raspberry in each. The omelette lacked ingredients, overcooked toast and not so many home fries. If the reviews and star ratings were not 4.5 I probably would not have such high expectations. Just lower them and you will be fine, I think.

Here’s the thing, long wait for an ok breakfast. It would be helpful if you merely put up a sign stating to grab a coffee while waiting to be seated. 45 minutes is really a long wait imo for diner food. –1. Brown & serve sausage — 1, I can do that @ home.

We had lunch brought in for the team today. Craig’s was the choice. We had two different kinds of salad — mixed greens and Ceasar salad. We also had a tray of deli sandwiches. Everything was wonderful and fresh. I would recommend folks using them!

Was looking for a Breakfast Place to try in Quincy, and this seemed to have good potential. We arrived on a Sunday morning with a couple of parties waiting ahead of us. Good thing we got seated when we did because the line quickly increased in size and by the time we left, there were at least 10 parties waiting, so I imagine it makes sense to arrive early to get a seat. A standard little greasy spoon with extremely happy/helpful staff. They have pour-your-own coffee with at least 5 different coffee flavors, which is great because you don’t have to wait for more coffee. AND all of the breakfast meals seem to come with coffee included in the price. The prices were extremely reasonable and the food was flavorful. Some of the egg dishes come with aioli on top, which is kind of weird, but it tastes good once you get used to it. The décor could be better but makes sense with the low prices. It seems that college-aged students have figured out this place exists and frequently.

We found this place on Unilocal and had to try it out. Amazing! The food is on point, perfect portions at reasonable price. Great location and very friendly staff. We announced to John it was our first time and he did a great job taking time to explain the menu. It’s awesome to hear he was a local who saw an opening and took it. He was awesome! Plus, triangle plates. Could it get any better?!

I ordered one French toast as a side and found it to be flavorful and delicious — unlike Kristen’s breakfast and brunch’s French toast. It was a good/generous portion and satisfied my tummy(as I had eaten breakfast a couple hours earlier). Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and enjoy the free coffee before heading out. The free coffee selection is very impressive considering you can try various types in as much or as little quantity as you’d like!

My boyfriend and I eat in every Saturday. Not only do we go for the food, we go for the atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and always greets us with a smile, a «good morning» and a «the usual coffee?» Tom always likes to make sure customers meals were satisfactory and of course every time we go they are consistently AMAZING. He’s a culinary genius with all of the new specials he comes up with. Mouth watering and packed with unique flavors and textures. There isn’t meal on the menu that we haven’t tried and not been delighted by. Love love love Craigs!

I had the Irish benedict which was poached eggs over corned beef hash and English muffins and one pancake on the side. The benedict was delicious and the hash outstanding. The pancake was a bit pasty and undercooked. I wish the syrup was real. Their coffee needs a lot of help. I had the decaf which was awful.

I was fighting between 4&5 stars. I gave it a 5 because nothing was wrong with my food and I will be returning soon! Fiesta Breakfast Sandwich: it had really big chunks of onion(which is 1 reason I wanted to give them 4 stars). I can see where others may not like it but I love onions. Would have been better if the unions were chopped a little smaller. Chipotle aioli + bacon + egg + ciabatta bread= YUM Talk of the Town Breakfast Sandwich: the sweet roll goes great with this sandwich. I actually LOVELOVELOVE the idea of a breakfast sandwich(mixing the 2 things I adore), so this will be a new favorite for me. The server asked me what meat I wanted(bacon, ham, or sausage), and I asked him what he recommended. He said sausage and I love it. The potatoes keep falling our the sandwich but it’s all good. I may try bacon next time. Iced coffee: a tad pricey($ 3 ish), but a medium(20 – 24 oz cup) comes at a decent size. I love the actual taste of coffee, and their flavored coffees don’t have overbearingly sweet favors, which makes me happy! I got the«Jamaican Me Happy». Basically caramel with a hint of coconut(barely). So far so good. All of this came to a total of $ 11.70 after tax. Because the breakfast sandwiches are bigger than a normal English muffin sized sandwich, I’m pleased. Great cure to my hangover and satisfying my breakfast cravings.

I’ve been going to this café before it changed ownership back in the early 2000s. Their benedicts always taste flavorful and delectable, but I had a bad experience with an omelette. It was very oily and it kept dripping down; the omelette didn’t keep its form like my sister’s or brother in law’s. I’ll try them again for an omelette again because I really like Craig’s and I’m sure it won’t be an issue next time. The potatoes needed salt and a little more time on the stove because they were a bit raw. The highlight of the meal was the Portuguese Sweet Roll :) I have a soft spot for Portuguese sweet rolls all the time and it’s so damn good the way it was served at Craig’s. Their coffee flavors are the bomb! I believe it’s the Harvard Square blend that I got and LOVEDIT!

This was an interesting experience. My boyfriend and I got breakfast Saturday morning here because we were in the area and they had some good reviews. While the food was delicious other things turned us off. I loved the Bacon Mushroom Hash but when I ordered it the waitress didn’t know what it was. She asked me to repeat it then scurried off to check the menu. My eggs didn’t come out the way I ordered them. I specifically asked for them not to be runny but fried and they came out poached. But that wasn’t a big deal. It was the atmosphere that just really killed everything. Tables and floors were filthy. The mugs for the self-serve coffee weren’t clean. The wallpaper was crooked and hanging off. Ceiling tiles were broken and had water spots. They had some animal planet show on the television that was performing some kind of animal operation that was SO unappetizing! While it was nice the chef came out and checked on us our waitress however did not. Maybe she was new but it took FOREVER to get our check. She kept looking over our head and when we asked for it she looked all confused. Pretty disappointing because like I said my food was really good and the plates that passed me also looked delicious but everything else forces me not come back.

The french toast was delicious. Very nice staff, there was a small problem with something I ordered and the staff was very prompt to fix it. I really love the zip line used for sending orders down toward the kitchen area. Very unique, and good atmosphere. The parking in Quincy Center is hit or miss, coming for breakfast on a weekday is no problem though.

From the outside, Craig’s Café doesn’t look like much or really big. The café is pretty roomy and has a comfortable vibe. It was a pretty busy Saturday late morning — luckily we were able to score a table without waiting too long. We opted to go with the lunch menu. We’d ordered the Asian chicken salad and steak bomb sub with sweet potato fries. The chicken was super flavorful and moist… love the sesame ginger dressing, too. My partner devoured his steak bomb — raved bout the bread being just right and the sweet potato fries being delish. Server was really sweet and the fellow running the front of the house seem to know most of the customers — really friendly guy.
