What better way to kill a few minutes honey beautiful sunny day in February, and to have a little breakfast and coffee at Gunther Tooties.
Amazing bagel sandwiches, nice help, great music and super comfortable seating.
The iced coffee and brownies are also top-​notch. It’s good to be alive!

I work right next to this place usually go to grab coffee or sandwich. It’s decent place but bit pricey

Decent breakfast place. Go here often and never had a complaint. Id recommend DD over Gunthers coffee though…

Pretty good bagels but wasn’t a big fan off the cookie I got. I think they deserve 4 stars but there’s always room for improvement :)

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat and burn some time. Free wifi and it’s usually quiet! One lady there is always quite pleasant (Maria). She’s taken my order every time I’ve been there, except once. The egg flavored bagel I got with strawberry jelly and butter was outstanding. I can’t say the same for their French toast bagel. Corn muffin was pretty good as well as their Tuna Melt. The online menu says it comes with bacon but it actually doesn’t (which is kind of disappointing). Their hot French vanilla coffee was decent, but I still prefer dunkins.

I usually make my own sandwich when I come here (chicken on rosemary focaccia with mozzarella, pesto, romaine, and tomato). I really like their pesto. I’ve never really tried any of their other sandwiches or salads. I did order an iced mocha once and it didn’t taste very good, so I’ve avoided ordering coffee from there. Otherwise, it’s a decent place to grab a sandwich or bagel.

Great place to grab breakfast or lunch on your way to work. Their sandwhiches are always fresh and they use real eggs (really excited about that)! Their pastries are really good and it’s pretty cheap. However this wouldn’t be the place to go for a full breakfast entrée.

Nice place for breakfast. Service was friendly and prices are ok. They offer WiFi and two stationary computers with internet access which unfortunately wouldn’t work for me.
Good choice of different bagels and breakfast options in general.

I LOVE this place!!! The bagels are always so fresh and yummy and the pastries/​brownies/​cakes are so decadent and delish! I come here most Sunday’s for a sandwich and a coffee and the experience is always consistent. I highly suggest this place to anyone who gets off at the Quincy Center T station! :)

Good breakfast place, they have a good bagel/​cream cheese selection and their breakfast sandwiches are also really good. There is usually a line on a weekend morning unless you go super early but it moves fast and the food doesn’t take too long to come out.
Their coffee is pretty unimpressive, I usually just get a bagel and go somewhere else for my coffee. It’s not terrible and if I’m feeling lazy I will get coffee there but I always end up wishing I had made the drive to Coffee Break…

I love this place! Both breakfast and lunch sandwiches are great. Awesome iced coffee. Can’t go wrong with anything here! Really cute restaurant too.

I’ve either walked by or drove by here numerous times and I finally decided to try it. The time that I went, it was after 5PM and they had ½ off smoothies, which I thought was cool. However, the guy behind the counter was rude and didn’t seem to not want to be there. Additionally, when I ordered the avocado smoothie, he gave me that «why am I not surprised» look. Yeah… you have the ½ off sign outside so of course you should expect people to be getting it. When I gave him my credit card to pay for it, after he printed the slip and when I was able to say thank you, he just slammed the slip on the table and threw the pen down at me and walked off.
Once he finished making my drink, I just grabbed it and walked out of the restaurant. I have to say that the drink was not impressive. It was completely watered down and way to sweet. It was almost like he just dumped a spoon full of sugar in it. As long as this particular guy is working there, I would not come back here. I have never been treated this badly before at a restaurant. But I’m not surprised about it either because I know a few people who had been here and said the same thing. I should’ve believed them in the beginning. If they feel like THEY’RE getting ripped off because people rather buy their smoothies at ½ price, then they should just take down their sign and don’t bother offering people the deal.

I have been here twice. Once the drink I got was so disgusting I threw it away and walked to the Starbucks down the street. The second time the woman who helped me was so rude and made me feel so uncomfortable I vowed never to go back.
We had a friend in town who wandered in here one morning. He was so horrified that people got away treating customers like that.

I have worked near Gunther Tooties for 4 years eating lunch there very frequently. Yesterday getting one of my usuals chicken salad on a café salad made me violently ill. Within minutes of eating about half of this I became sweaty and vomited. The rest of my work afternoon consisted of vomiting and diarrhea! I had stomach pains all night long. I called and spoke with the manager this morning and all she could say was no one else had reported this after eating their chicken salad. Some of their food is good but be prepared for a shit show going in there. Very disorganized, most every time your order is incorrect so don’t even bother calling it in. I have never been so sick from eating anything especially a $ 10 salad that now cost me a co pay for a doctors visit, money for a prescription and a day’s pay being home sick from work confined to my bathroom. Never again!!!

I love the coffee from here! And I love when there is foam.
The bagels are fresh and the cream cheese is so filling! The breakfast sandwiches on bagels are massive! I’m able to eat have for breakfast then half later on!
The wifi is great. The place itself is cute. It’s a little small and gets packed easily! I also enjoy that they have a little counter with extra things you can add to your coffee (cinnamon, chocolate, creamers, and different types of sweeteners)
Only thing o can’t comment on is their lunch menu. I’ve never had it!

Excellent bagel shop. I’ve been here a couple of times, and I have yet to be disappointed. The last time I came here, I wanted to order two breakfast sandwiches because they’re just that good, but I refrained and went with a regular portion size of one sandwich instead. It was so satisfying!
I got a bacon egg and cheese on a pumpkin bagel, and my boyfriend always gets a bagel with smoked salmon and lox. Both delicious.
Conveniently located in Quincy Center with lots of street parking available.

I go here pretty much every day. I have never experienced any rudeness, but I have experienced their delicious bagels, coffee, pastries and sandwiches.
The banana bread is incredible. I usually get an egg and cheese on a croissant. The croissant can be a little dry sometimes, but I just wash it down with a toasted coconut iced coffee, which is excellent. The honey walnut cream cheese tastes more like a dessert spread, but trust me I’m not complaining about that. Also, they play the BEST music here. Just today they had a live version of Somebody to Love playing, and Stairway to Heaven. Classic.

I really do enjoy this location. First of all, I love Gunther tooties. They have the best bagels I’ve ever experienced in MA. Also their cream cheese is homemade. Try a spinoccoli bagel with veggie cream cheese, you won’t regret it! Tastes like a pizza.

I stopped by again for breakfast a few weeks ago. The food was excellent as it was the time before, however it seemed like they were having an off day service-​wise. We were waiting for our orders near the pick-​up counter and they were yelling out orders very quickly. There was one bag that came out and nobody heard what was in it and there was no receipt on the side indicating what the order was. We asked the person placing the bags what was in it and he rudely told us he didn’t know and kept doing what he was doing. This resulted in three different customers sifting through the bag to figure out if it was theirs or not. It turned out to be my friend’s, but it took a long time to figure it out and no help from the staff.
I’m going to chalk it up to an off day since it was a very busy weekend. The food was still excellent so I will likely be returning the next time I’m in the area.
