Went with friends to eat some seafood. Service was good… Food was hot… which often is chain restaurants is not, everything went well… Surprisingly. This Red Lobster is definitely better than some I’ve been to, and you never had to ask for a refill on drinks… servers are all over it. Just a few minor things but not worth mentioning. Keep up the good work people!!!

This was my first visit to a Red Lobster and, since there are not many reviews for this particular location, I’m going to ask you to indulge me as I review it as if it was not a national chain. My teen wanted the whole lobster and that’s what he got, at 31.95 for the 1 ¼ pounder. It comes with a side plate of grilled corn and new potatoes as you’d get in a clambake, a salad(he chose Caesar), drawn butter and Cheddar biscuits(more on those in a moment). It was fine, but how can you mess up lobster that’s cooked fresh out of the tank? He somehow found room for dessert, a chocolate cake and ice cream combo which was unremarkable. I had the three-shrimp combo at $ 18.95. Walt’s Shrimp is quite nice: a light garlic breading on quality butterflied shrimp served with a cocktail dipping sauce. But the garlic scampi were swimming in butter and the alfredo were tiny bay shrimp on a sea of noodles and cream sauce(not surprising as alfredo sauce is referred to in the medical profession as «heart attack on a plate»). They usually serve this with broccoli but I had broccoli last night so I asked for the«petit green beans» as my side. They, too, were swimming in butter. I may sound critical but this was all useful reconnaissance for a future visit – that’s the virtue of a chain restaurant which you expect to be consistent. The Caesar was excellent and the Cheddar biscuits were warm and cheesy with enough but not overwhelming butter content. Both are a keeper. Next time I’ll order a grilled catch of the day and some wild rice pilaf and will likely be a happy camper. The kid? He’s on his own. We were there at 2:45 pm on Sunday so missed the notorious wait.(This is not food I’d wait around for, especially with a Texas Roadhouse up the street where i can cool my heels with a pitcher of margaritas.) I actually like the layout quite a bit – vaguely nautical, with seating arranged in an axis so you don’t feel like you are part of a vast pool of tables. P. S. Our server informed us we’d missed the«endless shrimp» by a week. Think I’ll try this next year, and focus on grilled options and Walt’s, staying away from heart stoppers.

There are several other restaurants in the Glens Falls/Lake George area at which I would rather have a seafood dinner. I also consider Red Lobster to be my «entry level for a decent seafood dinner» restaurant. Those things said, I find this particular Red Lobster to be above the norm and a very enjoyable place for dinner. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. The staff have always been efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. We’ve never had a bad meal here. It’s also in a convenient location. My family typically avoids the specialty dinners in favor of the daily fresh catch options. Ordered grilled or broiled, these are very reasonably priced and reasonably healthy. Dinners include 2 sides(today it was broccoli and a choice of a second) plus salad or cole slaw. The salads are a bit smaller now than they used to be, but at least one still comes with the meal. The baked potatoes still have sea salt on them. But then there’s the basket of cheesy biscuits. They were evil tonight — there were 3 of us, and they gave us 5 biscuits. No fighting at the table! It’s no wonder this restaurant is very popular. On weekends and holidays, especially in the summer, there is often a waiting line by 5pm. There is a very small bar near the hostess desk which seats about 6. I assume you can order dinner there if you prefer. If you are driving south on US9 to get to this restaurant, you must exercise some patience. The traffic light at which you make the left turn to enter the plaza seems to take an eon-and-a-half for the left turn arrow to come on. If you’re in a hurry, you can always try turning left at the prior traffic light, onto NY254, and entering the plaza from the back. Think of it as cutting ahead in line.

Went here for dinner on a Sunday with my boyfriend because the restaurant we originally wanted to go to was closed. We arrived and seated quickly, the place wasn’t really busy. Our waitress was great! We had the lobster bisque soup, lobster pizza, and lobster tacos. Everything was delicious, the pizza was lacking lobster, but it was still good. We were celebrating my boyfriends Birthday and the waitress brought out a plate that said happy birthday written in chocolate and a bowl of ice cream with whip cream.

We came here for my birthday. We were so disappointed. We had a 30 minute wait, which wasn’t bad. That was the highlight of the meal. After they took our order we had a 15 minute wait to get the drinks. Then had to wait 15 more minutes for the bisquits which I love. Then we got our entrees. After they came we finally got the salads. My meal was o. k but others at our table had awful meals

We got there for a late dinner but they were out of most of the daily fish which i guess can be expected at that time. Our server was attentive at the start taking our drink order and bringing those out fairly quickly. She then took our order. Brought bread out a little too close to our entrees and after we had already had our salads. The Caesar salad had WAY too much dressing on it. Once our meal came, I ordered the crab legs, she didn’t think to give me an extra bowl or something to put the shells in. This took awhile to get because she didn’t come to check on us for a little while. The dessert was good.

Not bad. This was our first time going to a Red Lobster. We were in the area, and were craving sea food. Keep in mind I grew up on the ocean, so I was a bit judgemental, the food was fine. But certainly nothing great. But that’s not to say we would never return. 9÷6÷2014.

Sooooo to begin my review, I’d like to state our waitress started out HORRIBLE, To the point The Host came over and gave us a free appetizer. The Host was the #1 host I’ve ever seen! Nicest guy, he’d even check the tables like a real host should. Food was good, lobster was GREAT. The stake however was quite chewy. Ended with a great desert, all in all great experience 4⁄5 loved this place, WILLBEBACK

Thanks to Red Lobster, Queensbury, I had one of the absolute best seafood dinners of my life … at THEBONEFISHGRILL on Wolf Road in Albany(Colonie), NY. It’ll be a while, if ever, that we return to this Red Lobster. At 5:50PM, I was told«20 to 25 minutes» after requesting a table for 4. No seat in the lobby so I was given, but only after asking for one, an electronic buzzer/flasher thingie and returned to wait with the other 3 in the comfort of my car. At 6:20 went in to ask if my device was working. Was told, curtly, by the very busy manager(?) that«It will flash when we’re called.» Returned to the car, meekly. At 6:45 went in to check again, not so meekly. Was told, very curtly, «We’ve called you 3 or 4 times!» I responded, intentionally loud in the still full lobby, that the device never went off. Was offered an apology and the next available table. I replied, not at all meekly or quietly, «No thanks, forget it.» and left. My sincere thanks to Red Lobster, Queensbury. THEBONEFISHGRILLROCKS!!!

It’s Red Lobster, I am sure most of you know what to expect… That’s the great thing about chains when they work correctly, each restaurant should be the same across the country, sometimes it’s a blessing to know what you’re getting before going. My favorites at Red Lobster are usually the Captains Dinner, which is Lobster, Scallops, and Shrimp and the lobster alfredo pasta. Of course Red Lobster is famous for those biscuits they give to people who order an entrée, and they are great! Red Lobster does well with the Lobster Bisque soup when they have it, and you can’t go wrong with the New England Claim Chowder. Desserts here are actually very good; a favorite of mine is the Key Lime Pie. Believe it or not they make a good margarita here, they call it the lobsterita and it is huge! Be friendly with your server and build a dialogue before ordering one and let them know you want a generous amount of Tequila in this drink because they won’t put enough in! Service and food have always been great at the Red Lobster in Queensbury, expect to wait for seating on the weekends, even in winter.
