This great eating place is steps from our home so we enjoy their delightful cuisine as often as possible. The food is prepared with fresh vegetables and is delicious. There is no wait for your order, prepared in minutes. We love to eat here. Very courteous employees.

I am from NJ, and have lived in AZ for over 20 years. Good Chinese like good pizza and bagels was almost impossible to find when I first moved here(or I was just unlucky). This is the real thing. Egg drop soup, not egg flower or whatever else they call it out here. Real egg rolls, not spring rolls the size of your pinky finger. We have had the shrimp and lobster sauce, sweet and sour chicken and shrimp, Mongolian beef and orange chicken. Wonderful. My only warning is if you get the marvelous shrimp and lobster sauce, tell them no fake crab. That’s one weird thing they do I have never seen before and I am not a big fan of that stuff. They even have duck sauce, not just sweet and sour, which seals the deal for me. You will be hooked!

So this place is a New York style Chinese restaurant. Usually from the time you order until it’s ready for pick up is about 12 minutes. Nothing is especially greasy or especially bad for you. The vegetables are mostly always crisp. The portions are pretty big for what you pay. I have not had a bad experience at this place.

When they first opened I left a good review online and have been there a dozen times or more. Wow. Today was terrible. Almost like they cooked the chicken in the cashew chicken, let it sit out and then cooked it again. Dry and zero seasoning. The shrimp fried rice so bland you can’t believe it even after dousing it with soy. The quality and effort just seemed minimal. Really disappointed.

Honestly haven’t found anyone in the Valley to make asian food the way that I used to get it up north, however this place is pretty good and reasonable. Their location is very small inside so I would recommend that they pick up and take home

I got Spring Rolls, House Special Chow Mein, Orange Beef and Tri Star Seafood and Chicken. The lady behind the counter looked like she wasn’t happy to be there. When not helping a customer would just stare toward the door with no expression on her face. The chow mein lacked any flavor. The orange beef had a bunch of red sauce on it that was ok and the beef was not crispy at all. The tri start seafood and chicken was mostly chicken and a bunch of vegetables, I kept looking for the seafood but only found a few shrimp and 3 scallops. The spring rolls seemed like ones I have bought frozen at the grocery store before. I will probably not be back here.

Finally I have found a great place for pork fried rice. Nice family owned business. Seems to have a pretty good following. Quality and service are excellent. Only complaint is that the chop sticks were too skinny, thus not allowing me to shove this wonderful food in my mouth fast enough

Never knew about this place, very tasty food and not heavy. Called in an order was was recommended the Szechuan Beef, as far as a little spicy of a meal. Thought it was great, not heavy, the beef was chewy or fatty, very lean. Also tried the sweet and sour pork, very good. Not heavily breaded or heavy, not greasy whatsoever. The sauce was not heavy nor sweet, it was perfect. Will order from again, they have a huge menu… tons of stuff to try out.

Small place — best for take out. The food is very good, fresh and consistent. I order from there anytime I want Chinese food.

Always consistent food. Never have to wait for orders to go. Best egg foo young around. Have ordered from there 10 times and never had to wait for food longer than I would expect. Will continue to do business there.

My favorite spot for Won ton soup in the area! Chinese food in northern NJ is the bomb so we struggled to find a good local restaurant when we first moved. THIS is the place!

My husband and I love this place. I didn’t grow up on high-quality fast Chinese food, but I try every Chinese restaurant I can at least once, and Iron Chef outstrips every other restaurant I’ve been to. Obviously they have some dishes that are done better than others(as all restaurants do), but I’ve been so impressed by the quality of the food and the depth of the flavor in each dish we’ve tried. Hands down, I always come back to their fried rice, which is kind of a litmus test for a good restaurant. Theirs is clean(as in, not oily), piping hot, packed with vegetables, and has a distinct flavor. I can’t tell you the number of Chinese restaurants that offer bland, literally flavorless(or soap flavored!) fried rice. Iron Chef does all their basics well, which tells me their other dishes receive the same care and quality as well.

We ordered beef fried rice, beef & broccoli and orange chicken. It was all ok nothing really to brag about. I’m still in search of some tasty Chinese.

Large portions at decent prices but the food quality was poor. I ate a quarter of my meal and left the rest. I had General Tso’s chicken and hot and sour soup and was disappointed with both options. My wife got orange chicken and again, it wasn’t very good food. The food tasted cheap and it was prepared different from other Asian food I’ve have had.

The food was ok. Portions were ample. We like spicy and this was far from it. I would give 3 stars but my brother had leftovers the next day and got sick. We thought it was a fluke until my husband had a different leftover and also got sick. We threw the rest away.

I’ll keep this short… I’m from Seattle, I have high expectations when it comes to any Asian food. Mu shu is my favorite thing in the world, don’t crush my mu shu dreams by saying it will come with pancake when you give flour tortillas. PANCAKEISNOTFLOURTORTILLA! …sigh. Second, if you do Happy Family please don’t include fake crab/krab. The flavor of that is too overpowering to be part of a Happy Family. Boo for ruining happy family, iron chef. If I had NO other dinner option I might order from here again, but the high reviews are deceiving… or I’m just used to a higher caliber of food I guess.

Not bad, food came out quick and hot. Asked for extra spiciness but got none. Tsao chicken just a hair salty but over all pretty good, will be back to try something else. Oh someone posted to bring your fork, not a bad idea, the forks are very cheap.

I ordered a meal online through their website. That process went very smoothly and was easy to do. No problems there. Had to wait for a few minutes once I arrived to pick up the food, but no biggie. All of the portion sizes were generous. Mongolian Beef was very good. Szechuan Beef was good. Salt and Pepper Calamari was very good. The Hot and Sour Soup was average. It had good consistency(not too thick and gloppy, not too thin) and nicely proportioned ingredients, but lacked enough hot and enough sour. Since I gauge all Asian restaurants by their ability to produce a top-notch Hot and Sour Soup, Iron Chef got knocked down a rating for this. We are new to the area. This is the fourth Asian restaurant we’ve tried and our favorite, so far.

Pork in Chinese Eggplant with Garlic Sauce. Burst of flavor in your mouth! Just hoping there’d be more pork than the eggplant. Overall its delish!

We bought 4 different plates today to try a bit of everything, as well as some crab Rangoon. I would have liked done dipping sauce with it, but the flavor is the crab was yummy. The different plates we ordered were each flavorful and seasoned perfectly. The spicy dishes were spicy but not overbearing hot. We will def be back.
