Hungry Howie’s Pizza

Kids for employees who whoop and holler when they are getting off work iN FRONT of guests. Where is the manager (not a kid who is a shift manager)? The youngest kid, a girl, just 17, was the one who had any sense about decorum and customer service. It’s OK pizza and cheap. The hot wings were undercooked, so tell them to cook them extra, extra, extra well done, seriously.

Definitely great pizza ! The have fast delivery and delicious crust. We were looking for something open late and we have never tried this place. It was good the garlic crust is a must.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my experience today. They are very understanding about people like me that do not eat meat. No funny faces when I said cheese only. Domino’s always gives me a hard time or they put meat on my pizza anyway. Ugh!!!

I’m not a pizza eater, but when I get a craving this is where I go. I love the flavored crust and the deals. Pizza is always delivered early and the drivers are nice.

First time eating here and it was okay. Got our pizza pretty late. But the pizza was really good!

If I could give less stars for customer service I would so I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza with ranch crust I was told that I’ll be about 10 minutes for pick up I show up 15 minutes later and the lady tells me that will be up in about 15 minutes after taking my money I tell the lady you told me it would be ready in 10 minutes 15 minutes ago now you’re telling me an additional 15 she replies I don’t know what to tell you suck and walks away so I sit there and wait they eventually get my pizza I had home to feed the kiddos and it was like that dropped a handful of seasoning which was supposed to be just on the cross over the entire pizza and not one of my three kids would eat the pizza. Native Grill and wings is just across the road I’ve never had a issue there the pizza may be a couple dollars more but 10 times better

The pizza is nothing to write home about, but it’s cheap and quick. We have ordered pizza from this location at least a dozen times and we’ve never had a single issue (except once they forgot to give us our side of ranch). I’m only leaving a review because I think there are too many unwarranted negative reviews here. We will continue to frequent Howie’s.

Very unhappy with this Hungry Howie’s location. We used to actually love this location, but it seems they mess up our order every time now. They didn’t send the right sauces last time, even though it was written on the receipt. This time, when the driver arrived, he had forgotten our drink. He left, and said he would bring it back. To his credit, he did come back. However, our bread was messed up and we received the wrong sauces, again. We called, and they said they would send out a new bread. Over an hour later, and still nothing. Just tried calling because of this, and they are CLOSED. Are you kidding me? They never showed, and are CLOSED. Wow. We have also received the Howie Rolls undercooked on numerous occasions, called and they sent us two additional ones. They were STILL undercooked. Not worth the hassle to try again!
I am updating this to include that it is a day later and I did talk with the manager about this. He was very helpful, and I received a credit. I still doubt I will be back to use it.

Terrible experience today at HH. Waited over 35 minutes for my pizza and inquired about my pizzas and the worker responded «ph there are right here» pizza had been ready for over 10 minutes and I only got my pizza because I asked for it. The whole time we waited workers complained about how they refused to take certain deliveries because the customers were not good tippers… completely unprofessional and I will not return, which is unfortunate because I enjoy their pizza and pricing!

We’ve lived out here for 3 years and have tried just about every pizza place.
Geno’s, Rosatis, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut and Barros are all hit or miss.
We found out about this place and gave it a shot.
LOVE IT!
It’s cheap, delicious and delivered fast and hot.
Not many places out here can make those claims.
It’s become our go-​to for pizza nights and we are always left talking about how much we love it.
Thin crust is where it’s at, with either garlic herb or butter Asiago crust flavoring.
The cheese bread is to Die for.
Like for real.
I decided it was time to write a review since we are always so happy and was shocked to see it didn’t get the best reviews.
Honestly has never disappointed us and we are picky a-​holes. Lol

It was hard to give them a 3 star rating since I like their pizza. I have ate Hungry Howies Pizza for years. Mostly in college towns in the Midwest. So being a huge fan i had to get one while visiting my mom. The pizza was good. But I felt like it was just thrown together in a hurry. I’m very basic. Sometimes I’ll get one of their specialties. But mainly a pep sausage salami and extra cheese guy. I got what I wanted. But the pizza was a mess. I will try it again next time. Hopefully I will get them in a better service moment. I love their pizza. I’m hoping they will live up to how I know their product. But the flavored are still 5 stars to me.

It’s inexpensive pizza that actually taste pretty good. We always go there and order so we know it’s made right then. Has been great so far. Wait time is a little long but other than that I think it is better than the usual pizza places. Garlic herb crust is our favorite. Give them a try.

I ordered food tonight from here and found a small scrap of metal in my asiago bread! I’m beyond disgusted! My kids ate this as well, I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!

This is where there should be an option for a negative star review. I purchased some pizza for my family they got the order wrong and LATE BY AN HOUR, They sort of apologize for it and then gave me credit for free pizza next order. Few weeks later I went to use that free pizza offer and was given the third degree by the management, supposedly, they questioned me over and over to put me on hold for a while came back stating that they couldn’t find any information on this in the time I sure and then they gave me what sounded like some sarcasm I let them know that I didn’t need this BS and I’d be going elsewhere and it wasn’t about the money. I’ve never felt like a low life trying to get something for free as I did when I contacted this establishment. I didn’t even like the pizza before I ordered it, but the people in my group were raving about their crust and other specialties so I figured I’d give him another chance… Boy do they know how to blow off a second chance customer. Since then, it’s been a few months, our pizzas have been ordered from other establishments regardless of what the people in the group want. To hell with our needs no more bad customer service for us no matter what the cost they may have the best pizza ever now but it’s not worth being made to feel like they’re doing us a favor.

We always order pizza from here, always the same thing, veggie pizza, pepperoni pizza, like I said we order here a lot, if by chance they make a mistake, not always, I call they are so nice about it, just want to give a big shout out.
Tonight forgot green peppers called they fixed the problem.

We tried Howie’s once… we had it delivered when the in-​laws were in town. Everyone thought it was pretty good. If you’re looking for delicious gourmet pizza, this isn’t it. However, if you have a group, want some decent pizza, and don’t want to spend a lot of money, I’d recommend giving it a try.

The managers and customer service are the worst. BUT the pizza is delicious!!! I love it and have been coming for years. I wish they would stop raising their prices though. A large used to be $ 5 now they are $ 9.

I got a coupon from the local Shoppers coupon book that is mailed out that offered a free medium pizza with a hair cut from Sports Clips which is in the same shopping center.
I got a haircut and I asked the staff at Sport Clips if they had heard about the promo and they told me that I was the third person that day to ask about that and they did not have any info.
Sports Clips told me to take my receipt to Hungry Howie’s and get my pizza just like they had advertised. I went over and showed them my receipt from Sports Clips and I asked for my pizza. They guy at the counter said that he was not honoring that promo because he did not know anything about it even though I had their coupon and told me to come back the next day when the manager was there to see if he would honor it.
On a separate note:
I have ordered pizza from them before and they lack communication with there drivers. I called in an order and told them I was paying cash with a $ 50– bill so the driver could come prepared to give me change, when he got here I paid him and he told me he didn’t have change for a fifty and that he was told I was paying with a card.
He had to use his own money to try to get me my change. The driver only had $ 7.02 on him so instead of having him drive back and fort I gave him a $ 10.00 tip.
I don’t mind tipping drivers but H. H Pizza lacks communication!
Back to my original issue:
To me that if false advertisement!!!
I didn’t have time the following day to come back to pretty much beg to get a free pizza that they offered and advertised.
I will never give this place my business again!

Flavored crust is different and really good. The pizza alone is pretty plain.

Their pizza is slightly better than the stuff you get in the freezer section at Walmart. Wouldnt go back without a coupon. Did like the flavored crust, kinda neat that you can choose. Not worth the price, order dominos.
