Hands down the BEST Mexican food. The bus is clean, the people are nice, meat is seasoned perfectly, ingredients are constantly chopped and and diced fresh. Been coming here for years. In fact for my sons senior year playing football we catered a team dinner from here. It was a massive hit and crazy delicious. I love their carnitas. One of the few places that actually get the pork crispy!

I give this place 5 stars based on their food. Where else can you get 2 sets of 5 tacos and a soda for $ 14? And it’s delicious. Their horchata is to die for. I also usually get their tortas. The only complaint that I have is the younger lady who works here always has an attitude and is super rude. Other than that I have no complaints. The food is delicious.

food is great, BUT I’m 100% sure they don’t care for white people being there. I ordered three taco specials, a very simple order. Three Mexican families behind me in line received their food before I did, and also received my order wrong. I also had to remind them I was still waiting for food. Unfortunately I will go back cause the food is good

I dearly love this place. It is my escape when I run my errands and realize I forgot to eat. I used to grab a mocha or a frap on the go, but this is so much better. My go to has been the tacos. Carne asada tacos are always good, but if you like luscious, tender, slow cooked beef, ask for cabeza instead. Carnitas are crisp and lean. I’d like to tell you about the other meat choices but I’ve loved these too much to branch out more. Until today. I thought I’d share my taco happy place with the kids. We ordered a couple chicken mulitas to try along with a couple plates of tacos. They’d never had authentic street tacos before, but they loved them. A mulitas is basically a quesadilla with two corn tortillas generously stuffed with your choice of meat plus cheese and a couple slices of avocado and whatever else it takes to make them awesome. It tasted like a Mexican pizza and it was crazy thick. I liked the flavors of the chicken and spices melded with the cheese, as did my kids. They fought over the last mulitas bites. Next time I have a kid date, we’re coming back for mulitas, but I’ll make sure we each get our own.

I am disappointed all the reviews talked about how amazing this place was and it really wasnt. The best thing was the shrimp tostadas the tacos and burritos were flavorless and the carne asada has pepper overload. The lengua tacos were ok but didn’t have any salt really bland. I don’t think we will be coming again. I think it is so successful because of the lack of real competition in the Puyallup area. Coming from California and being able to pick and choose any taco truck makes it difficult to find this one appealing.

What can I say I am a sucker for Mexican food! And this place hits the spot every time make sure to try their tacos de lengua. They are oerfectly cooked. I would not recommend eating in on cold days as it is a small metallic bus that gets super cold in the winter but great food to go

Love their chicken tacos! My husband is also a huge fan. We recently moved to Washington from LA so finding a good taco place was important to us. Gotta say, we are impressed.

If you want tacos or burritos, this is the place to go… even if you don’t want tacos, GOHERE. I’m from Montana and every time we visit family(5−7x a year), I MUST go here. The staples: carnitas and al pastor tacos, beef sopitas, and a wet carne asada burrito plate. Make sure to get the pickled vegetables, and if you’re lucky, they’ll give you extra salsa verde.

Honest review! The place is like a dump. But the food is VERYGOOD! It’s like Puyallup’s best kept Mexican food secret! The facility is an old school bus which is kinda novel. Lots of 50’s diner chrome plate,…neat. Don’t expect to be comfortable. It’s crowded. Loud. The floor shakes. It’s super cold inside. But, THEFOODISGOOD!!! I think I’ll be coming here often.

We used to come here all the time when we lived in Puyallup. But since we moved, it’s a rare treat that we come here. I decided to take my son here for an early birthday treat since he absolutely loves this place. Also known as the taco bus, this place is pretty small. But what can you expect, its a bus. My son always gets the carne asada burrito. I don’t really care for it since I don’t really like beans and rice in my burrito. But my normal go to meal is the 5 taco special and a sopes. It’s not Cali but this place definitely satisfies my street taco craving. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving Mexican food and you’re in the Puyallup area.

Definitely the best tacos I have had in Puyallup. The 5 taco special with your choice of meat and a free soda. Though I wish ground beef was an option. It was freezing that day and a little cold in the bus as well. How cool is that though, eating tacos in a bus. And a Beer Garden is next to the bus as well. I shall be back.

Oh yay and oh yum!!! Yay for an authentic taco stand here! I’m from Southern California and will die without eating good cheap tacos. Yum for the taste! Initially I ordered two tacos: asada and pollo. I liked the pollo(chicken) one the best and got another. You have to try their two hot sauces. The red one will leave your mouth on fire. And ordering a side of avocado($ 1) is a good idea. It completes the meal. It’s so cute to sit inside the bus, listening to the music and TV. Thanks Maria for suggesting I come here!

This is a superior taco truck when it comes to taco trucks around Pierce County. Location/Atmosphere: It is an old bus that they remodeled into a food truck located off of meridian. Conveniently located near a bunch of shopping complexes, gas stations, etc. The inside of the bus itself is pretty clean. There is seating right inside the bus, along with outdoor seating for those nicer Washington days. Service: All you do is walk in and order, then wait for your food. When it’s ready, they’ll call your order. They are very friendly and quick! Your food will never ever take more than 10 minutes to get to you, although I usually don’t go when it’s «packed». I’ve never had an issue with their service. Food/Pricing: *drools as I write this review* Their meat selection is great. Everything I’ve had is extremely flavorful and delicious. I HIGHLY recommend their carne asada tacos and the taquitos rancheros(only comes with chicken). The taquitos rancheros plate comes with 6 taquitos, refried beans, rice, avocado slices, sour cream, some diced tomatos, and I believe cabbage? Don’t quote me on the cabbage. Every component of the dish makes sense. It’s has really good balance in flavor :) Overall: I love this place because it is incredibly delicious and quick, and TOTALLY affordable. My meals are always under $ 10. AND I ACTUALLYGETFULL! :D I’d give this a 4.5÷5 if I could, just because I know there are even better taco trucks out there. But hey, this is a 5⁄5 for a bus in Puyallup! I love you taco bus :’)

Whoa! Talk about taco busses… First of all, this is a legit school bus turned food bus. The lady at the register is super nice! The cooks in the back are always busy, I never see them just hanging out. The menu is on either side of the register above the windows. They also have to-go menus if you want a reference before you head over or would like to call ahead for pick up. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating with a TV turned on to a soccer game or a telenovela. The food here is probably one of the best in Puyallup. I’ve had their tortas, tacos, and shrimp ceviche tostada. My boyfriend tried the Birria, a pork tomato based soup. Comes with 4 tortillas, rice and beans. He was in love, so was I! The brothers rich, flavorful and hearty. Let’s just say it’s my boyfriend’s new favorite thing! I got the shredded pork torts and two carne asada tacos! I doused each with their creamy spicy cilantro, tomatillo sauce, not exactly sure what it’s called but they have it on the tables outside or in the bus next to the pickled radishes and carrots, limes, etc… I also tied my father in law’s chicken from his pollo asado platter. The chicken was a bit dry, so guess what I poured all over it? That spicy cilantro/tomatillo creamy sauce, yummmmy! For the price you pay you get TONS of food! It’s a good and cheap way to feed a couple people or an army. The food comes out pretty fast too, not min of a wait. There is a «beer patio» so if you have the kiddos with you, best if you eat in the bus, on the picnic tables or to-go.

I’ve been to this place twice and every time I’ve been, they did not disappoint. This place has probably some of the best tacos I have ever eaten and they pretty much make it in front of you. I mean you could actually see them cook it right there. At first glance you are super skeptical when you see it, but once you get inside you’ll understand. You have two options of seating when you get there. You can either sit outside or you can sit inside and seating is very much limited. Oh, make sure you try the green sauce they have because it’s extremely good. I like it better than their red salsa they have. They have a kitchen built in the back of the bus. And it is extremely surprising to me how they can fit all that in there plus seating arrangements inside. They also have a television in there, but to me all they show is Spanish soap operas.

Tacos and burritos burritos with carne asada or lengua are the best. The Mexican food here is the typical version that you will find outside of the sit down restaurants. It is done very well, portions are big, and the price is inexpensive. The beans are consistently good. Basically, it’s the same type of Mexican food served by all Mexican joints in the area I was surprised to find a beer garden next to the seating area of the food truck. In Texas people can drink at icehouses. Typically the icehouse is the place where someone with or without their families, minors included, can sit and enjoy their day together with a meal and a beverage of their choice.
