«I had a custom order with Tom & crew and they were excellent! Tom wasn’t pleased with the work though(for a special occasion, the errors were minor but he wasn’t satisfied) so he comp’ed them. It’s so nice to meet a small business owner concerned about his quality & reputation. Despite the error I will certainly continue getting my donuts from Epic as they are just wonderful!

Strange location — Small standing room for ordering. — No room to eat inside, and no tables to eat outside — Didn’t appear to be really clean The dough for the donuts was really too sweet, and then the super sweet frosting on top made me sick almost immediately. They should consider closing up shop earlier, because by night time the donuts were just too stale tasting.

Like no other donuts! These are the best! So hard to choose they have so many options! So creative and taste as good as they look! The owners are so kind! They donate all the time! Super sweet people! Love this place they also made my Sons donut cake it was so cute!

The doughnuts are good. Location is not. The owner should consider an additional location, perhaps one like the Out n About Burgers drive thru or an old coffee stand. If he made it Convienient and Quickly Accessible, then he could sell more donuts faster. But,… The doughnuts are out of this world good !!!

This place was pretty good. I ordered the snickers donut and the donut with gummy worms. The whipped cream icing on the snickers donuts was so good! I was a little surprised to find that the donut itself didn’t have any filling inside. It just struck me as odd. The young girl at the counter was nice enough but I wish she would have been a little more descriptive about what was on the donuts. Sometimes the individual details are more enticing than the name.

I’ve given Epic donuts way too many chances. I have a strict 3 strikes and you’re out rule. These donuts are mediocre at best. The donuts are dry and dense. They use frosting and candy to mask the lack of attention to the most important part of the donut… the donut! IMO they should change to «Epic DoNot» Trust me folks, make your way to the valley to Happy Donuts. Can’t be beat.

We tried a variety of donuts and they were all delicious! I highly recommend the maple bacon bar! We will definitely be coming back for more! This is my new favorite donut joint.

Good donuts. Lia was super helpful and nice. Tip: On Sunday at around 11:30 may not be the best time to come because they get hit hard by customers and sell a lot of donuts, especially if there’s a game later that day.

Epic donuts? More like epic fail. In the early morning you would expect soft, fluffy donuts. However, mine was stale and hard, especially on the edges. My husband wasn’t a huge fan of the type of chocolate they used on his Bavarian cream donut. The only reason I didn’t give them a 1 star review is because they do have some interesting choices. Oh, and pretty crudy service. If you want a good donut, just go to Original House of Donuts!

My wife and I stopped in here on a Saturday(3 – 4 hours before closing) and were sorely disappointed by the selection. We had heard that they make donuts fresh throughout the day but the only thing that they had available was a sad selection of basic raised/glazed donuts that all looked pretty beat up. Since we came all that way just to get donuts, we decided to get a few rather than walking out empty handed. They were ok, but definitely nothing special. What was especially frustrating was that we could see, hear, and smell them actively making fresh donuts in the back and we could see a great variety of yummy looking fresh donuts on the racks. Sadly, none of them were available for sale to the walk-in customer. Yes, we asked point-blank… I trust that they would have a better selection earlier in the day, but I won’t be going out of my way to find out. Overall, I’d have been happier if I had just gone to a supermarket bakery and bought a leftover variety box. Oh well, we tried… :(

Bought an assorted dozen this morning for my co-workers. Arrived a little before 5 am and they were already open. Nice assortment and friendly service, but when I got to work, I noticed they shorted us a donut. Not a huge deal, but in this day and age, customer service is everything! So I am a little disappointed. Will update this review once I get feedback from my fellow employees about the actual taste!

My husband and son do «Donuts with dad» on Sundays and this Sunday they stopped here at Epic Donuts and brought me back a dirt donuts, with chocolate crumble, frosting and GUMMIEWORMS! I felt like I was 7 years old again! As soon as I took my first bite I knew this would become the«new» donuts shop for our family. Sometimes when you have unique donuts like I did it doesn’t live up to the hype! But this donuts was so mouthwatering I am considering going again in the morning!(My waistline might not like that) My husband got the resses donuts, he said it was good. He is a savory man and said it was a little too much sweetness for him. My son got a sprinkle donuts and ate almost all of it, so we assume he loved it. Epic donuts for sure. I can’t wait to come back.

I’ve heard about this donut shop for about six months now and just got around to trying it. They are many different kinds of donuts, shapes and décor themes! Excellent tasting raised chocolate glazed! I’d eat more if it wasn’t about sugar!

Cute little donut shop, great customer service. Lots of large and out of the ordinary choices. My first visit I opted for blueberry fritter and regular glaze. Smells awesome and I love the motorized display. Locally owned and worth the stop. (Noticed Epic while waiting to have my tires changed next door)

Update Below… Sad Face… carload of us drove down to try the donuts as a friend had given us a gift card(he said he didn’t want to use it because the service wasn’t good, but that wasn’t going to stop us from deliciousness!) Sadly, we couldn’t try them… Arrived 3 hours before closing and they were closed. Knocked on door to ask about their 10pm closing time and she said they were slow so they closed. Guess they didn’t want our money UPDATE: Erin the owner contacted us. He was so upset that this happened to us and apologized profusely. He listened to the situation, validated our concerns and worked on solutions to remedy our situation. He is a hard-working entrepreneur who left the shop in the hands of an employee for a bit when this happened. We can’t wait to have another go at tasting these enticing donuts.

Epic Donuts is a great find in Puyallup! They have a variety of interesting flavors and combinations. It’s always difficult to make a decision without having to walk out with a dozen doughnuts just for myself! I love the bubble gum one — a raised ring glazed with a bubble gum icing and garnished with Double Bubble! For my recent birthday party, instead of ordering a cake, I ordered a couple dozen glazed raised rings(half regular and half chocolate glazed) from Epic. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the doughnuts! It was the perfect dessert after an afternoon of drinking wine and eating burgers. They recently extended their hours to 10pm so now I can get my doughnut fix anytime!

Great donuts and great staff. They are incredibly genuine in their manners. I love stopping by to get donuts to or from work(I’m military and work odd hours). Keep up the great work

Love their donuts and fun variety. Blueberry and Apple fritters are my favorites. Do wish they had somewhere to sit and enjoy with a cup of coffee.

Since the cupcake hype, i feel like doughnuts have taken the back seat. Epic doughnuts really do take the front seat here with their crazy delicious flavors and type of doughnuts they offer. I suggest choosing one of everything and sharing amongst friends. I cut each doughnut in 4 pieces so everyone had a piece and could see which they would get for themselves next time. I chose: Gilligan’s Island, The Elvis, Banana Split, and Strawberry Pop Tart. My favorite was the Elvis and Gilligan’s island. They even make doughnut cakes for those who love doughnuts. I will go back and try their other flavors to see what my absolute favorite is. Epic doughnuts is a nice change from the typical doughnut shop with regular flavors. I love the creativity in their doughnut creations and their store front décor of little rockets that they gave out to the local businesses who designed it so it may be displayed in the store. Way to be an icon in the community and in our stomachs!

Not sure what the big deal is. We went out of our way to find the place and were looking forward to sitting down and having some Epic Donuts. Instead — no place to sit — limited selection(just the basic donuts you can buy at Albertson) — and at best — eatable. Sort of wonder what people in Puyallup consider a «culinary delight» if they consider this place as a good representative. Probably McDonald is for«that special date night».
