Really great pizza. It was very crispy and filling. We got a 12″ pizza supreme with a side of fries. Servers were nice, but could have been a bit more attentive. Happy we stopped by after a long flight.

Fantastic pizza! They clearly use high quality, fresh ingredients — and it certainly passed the «delicious-​test» as only one slice remains after ordering a couple of pies.
A convenient and accommodating stop, I can see why this place gets high marks and recommendations from the locals and snowbirds, alike. Great pizza is something everyone likes and this place delivers on all fronts. Good eats!

I started out loving this place. Food was great… then it seems that as soon as the snowbirds got here they got real stingy on their pizza toppings. You get less toppings and still pay the same as when they actually gave you a decent amount. Disappointed.

Overall service was okay, ordered a appetizer and the plates we got were completely dirty when i told the server about it she took the plates and took a rag from the counter top and wipped them got the same plates back they were covered in water. Did not use the plates– Pizza was okay have had better, the sandwich we got was terrible chicken salad I got was not good I have been up all night sick, the bread was stale, the potato chips were Stale. Kitchen staff and wait staff were so loud talking to each other. This was my first time visiting I will not impressed I will not be returning I came here on a recommendation from family members i dont know what they saw that was that great.

Went there for lunch. Started off with the pita&hummus, then we had a veggie Stromboli and sausage, peppers, and onions sandwich with fries. Everything was beyond fantastic, cooked to perfection (perfectly straight from the oven crispy). Very generous portions, which I can appreciate as an Italian. Service was very quick and accurate as well. Definitely added this gem to the list of favorite places.

The pizza was ok, not spectacular. The service was slow and not very friendly. Our server left the building while we were still eating so we had to find someone to help us after asking two servers, we finally got our check. We have given this restaurant several tries but will probably never go back. When we left, we saw the server sitting outside.

Our group wanted pizza as a late night snack and we couldn’t have been more disappointed when we opened the box

Yummy!!! Visiting Punta Gorda and came here after reading Unilocal, so glad we did! Wings were sooo meaty and the garlic knots were great; oh and the supreme pizza was excellent —– tons of toppings! The service was the only thing that didn’t blow us away —- having living in Florida years ago and waiting tables I realize it’s hard to be fired up in the off season.

Everybody kept telling us this was the best pizza in Punta Gorda of course you hear that about everyplace. My wife and I decided to try it and we ordered the large supreme pizza. I have to admit it was one of the tastiest pizzas we have ever had. The toppings were fresh and the pizza was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

First time we had pizza here I thought it was very good. The second and third time we ordered it and picked it up. We like our crust crispy – let me tell you both times it was «raw» in the middle.
I don’t think we will be fraternizing this pizza place again. Oh, and when we called to complain they just sort of blew us off. Wish it wasn’t true, but it is.

When we’re in the mood for Pizza sometimes we walk here. When we don’t walk we have it delivered. Perfect pie everyone loves. Friendly and fast service as well. Now… if they’d just put deep fried artichokes on the menu they’d be perfect.

I really enjoyed Manatees’s. It’s a comfy place, don’t dress up. Nice seating available on their patio. There are lots of choices for Pizza and the beer is ice cold. They also serve wine. Reasonably priced. I loved the spinach salad and garden pizza. For all you vegans out there, they have a vegan pizza on the menu. How often do you see that?
My wife and I went mid afternoon to avoid the crowds. Service was excellent.

I feel bad leaving one star because their pizza is fabulous. This review is for their bagels. Yuk. They call them bagels but they are not bagels at all. More like kaiser rolls. Light and airy. Bagels should be dense and chewy. Yummy enough to just eat it plain without even toasting or cream cheese. Like Western Bagels in my home state of California.
Manatee Pizza calls their breakfast service «Bagel Bungalow» but Unilocal had no listing under that name for this review. Manatee Pizza gets these «bagels» from Ninos bakery everyday. I am not sure what everyone is thinking. How can they call them bagels? Don’t waste your money or your taste buds! Guess I won’t be going to Ninos Bakery for bagels either.
