I’ve been here on several occasions over the last few years and they are always consistent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the owners are great as well. I have had almost every single on of their burgers and all are cooked very well with tons of flavor. I love their fish and chips too. However, one instance specifically which makes me always come back definitely is the service. I threw a surprise birthday dinner for my best friend here one evening a couple years ago and the wait-staff and hostesses were so accommodating and helpful. They sat us in this part of the restaurant that once the birthday girl will come around the corner she will see everyone at once — making it more of a surprise. We also ended up needing scissors and tape and the staff helped us make sure everything was put together and fun. Overall, the staff bent over backwards for our large party and I will always remember that. This place is great for families, large groups, a date night/first date, or just a place to grab a burger and brew. They have light music playing in the background that is more of today’s hits(sans the bump and grind vibe). The food is always delicious and if there is ever a problem with it, the staff is more than willing to correct the issue for you(if any). I always bring visitors to the Palouse here. Definitely worth it to check it out. Not very pricey either! Reasonable! Also, Cougar Gold Cheese!

This was our first time at the South Fork Public House in Pullman and what a first experience it was! At first glance, it doesn’t look like it would be all that fabulous because it is sandwiched between an Ace Hardware store and a Dollar Store but looks can be deceiving and we were pleasantly surprised. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who promptly found our party of 6 a great table. Things only got better from there when Jason was appointed to be our server for the night; that guy crossed all of the T’s and dotted all of the I’s! Jason explained all of the specials, both drink and food, and promptly returned with our beverages of choice. Dinner quickly arrived and looked fabulous! Hubby and father-in-law ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich and both exclaimed it was the best they had ever had, stating that the meat was extremely tender and flavorful. The fish and chips with seasoned shoestring fries were enjoyed by two others in our group. Their speciality Mac & Cheese could’ve used a bit more spice but all in all I was very pleased with my dinner choice. Dessert was a bit of heaven! Their cheesecake with berry sauce was delicious and the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream was rich, decadent, and definitely worth the calories. The South Fork Public House restaurant will, without a doubt, be frequented by us in our returns to Pullman. Don’t miss out on this fantastic dining experience! Oh, and if Jason happens to be your server you will NOT be disappointed!

I have gone to this restaurant for both meeting friends for lunch/dinner and also work occasions. On all occasions, I have been impressed with the quality of service of the staff members. Even on busy nights, the hostess’s have always been friendly along with the servers. Look for deals on their mixed drinks and you can get really good deals! I have ordered the cheesesteak wrap, fish and chips, and also the Ultimate BBQ burger. All three dishes have met or exceeded my expectations. The cheesesteak wrap has excellent flavor and has a nice local feel with the cougar gold cheese! Be warned through, it is a little bit messy. The fish and chips are one of the most popular choices at Southfork. I think that the fish and chips was pretty average. They were good slices of fish, but just not as notable as the other items I have eaten. The BBQ burger is an excellent choice if you are a burger kind of guy! My burger was cooked to perfection and had awesome flavor in both the BBQ sauce and meat. It was my favorite dish I have had at Southfork thus far. Overall, I’m pleased with this restaurant and will be returning in the future. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a casual place to dine for either lunch or dinner.

Ate here are a business trip with a colleague. Really friendly and attentive wait staff, cool modern décor and clean restaurant. The power went off during our meal and they were so nice and accommodating to guests when this happened. I had the chicken gyro, really good and fresh. My colleague had the sliders– good, inexpensive but not huge portions. I was comfortable with my portion size but he was still hungry.(Couldn’t order more due to power outage). Try this place if you and in town. And try the pomegranate and lime cocktail. It was Delicious! Awesome staff and good food– keep it up guys!

In the words of Fifth Harmony, Southfork Public House is «Worth It» … and Unilocal-worthy of a rare 5th star and gettin’ more of my hard-earned Oprah-size dollars despite just being a place in a «strip mall» in Pullman. So, I guess that means it’s worthy of Fifth Star-money. Baby, it’s worth it … Uh huh, it’s worth it Give it to me, I’m worth it Baby I’m worth it Uh huh, I’m worth it Gimme gimme, I’m worth it Give it to me, I’m worth it Baby, I’m worth it Uh huh, I’m worth it Gimme gimme, I’m worth it All college towns should have at least one place like this … decent food, local drafts, and cool service … without all the debauchery of college. Sure, Southfork Public House isn’t a 5-star fine dining experience … however, it is 5-stars because I couldn’t find any fault in their stars. Scorpion Tails($ 8) Get tongue stung with WSU’s own spicy Crimson Fire Cheese stuffed into grilled fresh Jalapeño Peppers wrapped with Prosciutto Ham. Soothe the sting with Chipotle Ranch & Sour Cream dips. Ninkasi Tricerahops Double IPA(Eugene, OR) The bar isn’t big, but it is a full-bar with a dozen drafts on tap. A few rounds of this PNW legend was totally worth it … over and over again. Fish & Chips($ 12.50) You may not think of Fish & Chips when you think 5-stars, but this was recommended as the«best thing on the menu» … and it just might be. I really liked the simple, but yummy ale-battered fried Cod and Fries. Thin Mints Homemade Cheesecake Desserts wasn’t needed. It was; however, worth it … because any place that takes time to make homemade cheesecake from beloved Girl Scout Thin Mints is badge and dessert worthy. Don’t get all dressed up to visit Southfork Public House. This ain’t that kind of 5-star spot. It is a college-town fun find thanks to decent food, local drafts, and cool service. Yeah, Baby, it’s worth it … Uh huh, it’s worth it

We stopped in about two weeks after the last visit. The food & service were OK, not great. They seemed to be more busy & we were seated right up front. This is a place you do not want to sit because the doors are distracting and people are constantly walking by.
