I don’t know how never not learned about this place. It’s a gem in the rough located near the Steel Mill.
We were referred there by a friend who has a long time business in Pueblo and glad we listened. As most the places we went to that remember as having great food, eh not so good anymore.
Hence, tadaaaaaa THE BEER BARREL or aka ‘Polito’s’ Beer Barrel. We went basic. The other half had a burger and I had a slopper even though do not really eat beef anymore. Wow was the best burger the other half had during our stay. My slopper, eh I’m used to hotter green chile but regardless, tasty, fresh, well put together in all layers of ingredients. Definitely going back next visit!!! We are fans!
