Great food and prices. Plates were a little pricey for the amount, but really good. Very addictive carne asada.

Being from San Diego, I ordered the Tijuana burrito(with no mayo) more as a joke than anything but was actually pleasantly surprised! The tortilla was delicious, the steak flavorful, and the burrito had the perfect balance between spice and flavor!

I showed up when they opened and they didn’t seem pleased to have such an early customer. My food seemed to be preheated from the day before. I unfortunately won’t be returning.

I was in town for a week and came three times. I’m craving it now. Absolutely loved the loco. So meaty and smoky favored. Definitely come here. Had the tacos as well– also good.

Money! I got 4 tacos. Chorizo was excellent! Chicken was a little dry, but the flavor made up for it… really tasty. Pork was tender and well spiced. The steak had some large bits of gristle, but again had great flavor. Can’t beat the happy hour price — but regular price isn’t too high either. Every taco was full, and the service was quick. And lastly… awesome view of the mountains! Great place.

I really enjoyed Brassas. I tried it on a whim and it was delicious. I tried several different kinds of tacos and went during their 4−5pm happy hour so it was well worth it. The tacos had as much meat in them as they could hold and the meat was well seasoned. Dont have any complaints.

Tacos are $ 1 during happy hour(from 4 – 5, daily)! They’re worth the regular $ 2, but at this price, it’s a steal! They’re the best tacos I’ve had in Utah because the quality of the ingredients and the quantity are both great. I recommend the carne asada and carnitas tacos. I have had mixed experiences with their burritos(one California style burrito was cold and the ingredients were poorly proportioned), but their tacos are divine!

Tacos Azteca every time. Perfectly marinated al pastor encased in fried cheese. What more could you hope for on this world?

I went here with a friend and my sister. Two of us got burritos(one chicken and one pork) while the third got the pork tacos. Apparently tacos are the way to go. The burritos were almost flavorless. They had a good amount of meat in them, were supposed to have avocado, but didn’t as far as I could tell. Also, they were mostly flavorless. Or did I mention that already? The friend who got the tacos said they were pretty good. She gave Brassas 3 stars. But since I didn’t eat her tacos I am sticking to my 2 star rating. I chose this place after hearing they had a salsa bar. Bad idea. Salsa bar full of salsa without flavor. The spicy ones were quite spicy. But. the flavor… it was absent everywhere. I went here in the middle of winter, so I would expect things are better during the warmer months. I would hope anyway.

Great taco. Great flavor. Great people. You know what it needs though? A bit more unique taco options and it would bring it to 5 stars if they could blow me away. It’s definitely the best in the area. But I save my 5 stars for the special places. Taco time. Oh and go between 4 – 5 everyday for buy one get one free taco hour. It’s worth it.($ 6 minimum card purchase).

Best chicken in Utah period! Bomb tacos to. Truly authentic!!! They even have cactus! I love this place! And that’s a huge compliment coming from a Mexican that can cook her own authentic dishes! There chicken is grilled, they also have some of the best burritos in Provo! The Provo location is a little shack in a parking lot but it’s true what they say about hole in the wall joints! They normally turn out to be bombilicious!

Great prices and really good meats. The salsa bar is well stocked and varied. The family that runs it is super friendly. Not the #1 Mexican food in town, but it’s definitely up there.

This was super good. I had the el pastor burrito and it was the bomb. It’s slightly sweet and smokey. I highly recommend it.

Love it. These are definitely the best tacos we’ve had in Orem/Provo. I was afraid that I’d really miss this type of food moving here from Austin, but Brassas has it. The flour tortillas here are a huge step up from what you usually get in a cheap taco, even in a Mexican food mecca like Austin. They’re thin, tender, and probably house made, although we didn’t ask. They stand up to the generous fillings because they’re so tender. I look forward to trying the corn tortillas, too. The fish, shrimp, chorizo, and asada are all amazing. My favorite is the shrimp taco: really juicy fried shrimp, not at all overcooked, with a spicy mayo, cabbage, and avocado topping. The asada was some of the best I’ve ever had. It tends to be dry and grisly, but at Brassas it’s tender and juicy, yet not greasy. The chorizo is perfectly seasoned and topped with crunchy onions and cilantro, just the way I like it. The one thing I’d skip next time is the chips and salsa. The chips are thick and very well fried, not a style I enjoy, and the«chip salsa» is a little bland, especially compared to the SERIOUSLYHOT«extra hot» sauce they have at the salsa bar. We assumed it wouldn’t be very spicy because food in Utah isn’t, but Brassas isn’t kidding. Yum! They also have delicious roasted jalapenos, onions, and nopales in the salsa bar, plus a couple of other mild salsas with tomatillos and roasted peppers. I can’t even take a star away for the chips, because this is a taco joint and the tacos are 100% on point. Our entire meal for two was $ 11, and this wasn’t even during the 2-for-1 happy hour! Add to that a chill and comfortable patio, and I can’t wait to go back.

What can I say about Brassas that others haven’t already said… for authentic, convenient, delicious street tacos, this is it. For me, the highlights are simple: — Happy Hour from 4−5pm 50% off select tacos(actually buy-1-get-1) — Although the Al Pastor, Carnitas and Chicken tacos are really good, my personal favorites are the Shrimp and Fish. Yum! — Salsa/roasted veggie bar cannot be missed — this is what takes Brassas up a notch! — I truly crave a couple of their salsas(I’m a picky-ass when it comes to salsa); their posted spice levels are spot on. It’s a shack with few amenities. Plan to take your food to go. After spending quite a few of my Tuesdays here, I’m getting pretty good at rolling my Rs.

Came here during happy hour and the tacos were worth it. Heavy price tag on everything else though. Of course my kids wanted the $ 8 quesadilla. It was on par for what you could get for $ 3 at a a I cart in downtown SLC. Very expensive and would force them to eat tacos next time. They only have bottled sodas for $ 2 a pop. The salsa bar is interesting and the onions and jalapeños in the crock pots are yummy. Seating is limited and all outdoors.

I am 10% sure i already rated this place. Um… hmmm i strongly suggest the tacos azteca. they have a little bit of cheese in them and they give you some yummy tortillas that go with it. Oh my mother(peggy) they are so freaking good! Ever had cheese before? So whenever i go i always get the al pastor meat because it has pineapple in it. I am one of those sweet and tangy kind of guys… a homosexual. And i just love al pastor so much. The prices are really good and if you go during 4 – 5(?) you get the tacos for even cheaper. two tacos for the price of one. if you dont go an get some tacos right now… you are a dirty damn fool. they make your food quick, they tickle your tongue, they just do a superb job and it doesnt cost you very much. THEVERDICT: get your grill on. its really good and as authentic as it gets in provo. its family ran and operated, which means good stuff. make sure you spend over i think like 7 bucks or else you cant use a card. i always spend the necessary amount. also ask for a hug, they give free hugs…

Been here a few times for the happy hour tacos and those were delicious(good things seem to taste better when they cost me less). Recently stopped by because this was one of the only Mexican places open before 11am that I could find while family was in town and craving Mexican. Three of us ordered the breakfast burritos and we all got some varying jarritos drinks. We all liked the food. It was a pleasant experience sitting in the warm tent eating some tasty food as one of the cooks grilled carne right outside. Good food at reasonable prices and the salsa bar is well-stocked, especially if you care to add some veggies I haven’t seen in other Mexican establishments.

Wow, Brassas, just Wow. Best street tacos I have had since I was in Los Angeles. Your $ 2 Carne Asada tacos are overflowing with savory chunks of beef. Then you threw on guacamole, cilantro and onions. I completed it with a scoop of chunky salsa from your generously stocked salsa bar. Nirvana. I haven’t yet tried other items on your menu, but you had me at first bite. Looking forward to many repeats.
