I don’t know what is up with the negative review about this property. How it could go from bad to best in a month with visitors in between and all other reviews as excellent is suspect. We had a wonderful time and can’t say enough about the quality of our stay. The home is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Right on the beach where dogs frolic and people walk. Looking out the large glass windows from the kitchen to a beautiful sunrise and rolling tides was simply magnificent. The owners were always available and helpful by phone and email. They were on the property everyday to ensure that all was well. Perfect hosts. We will return to Merry House.

The only reason I haven’t given Merry Meeting House 5 stars is that I didn’t stay there myself. My company has had 5 or 6 guests stay 2 – 3 weeks each and each has given the apartment rave reviews!
The location is perfect — on the beach, nothing between you and the view of the ocean except the porch railing. A maximum of a 10 minute walk to everything you might want; restaurants, shops, bars, you name it.
The Merry Meeting House owners are so accommodating, so pleasant — we never had an issue about anything.
We love it!

It’s odd that less than a few weeks after we stayed in the upper and lower apartments of the boathouse, they should change characteristics so dramatically.
We clean found clean comfortable accommodations with a wonderful setting right on the bay. The other residents in the main house had their dogs with them and seemed content with their experience. They told us they’d been coming for years.
The owners were available by phone, email and dropped in several times to makes all were comfortable. We would definitely stay with Chris and Thom again.
